The issue in GetHuman-smmvalan's own words
We have booked * tickets to India on **th of July from Stansted airport to Chennai through one of the lufthansa's agency omega flights. Airline reference no: VACACP & VDE*ZL. After checking in all of luggage and getting the boarding pass, Lufthansa official has refused us from boarding the flight to india as my wife is an Indian citizen. After hearing this, I collapsed at the airport. Para medics has treated me until *.** pm. We hired taxi at **.** pm and reached home **.**. Since my family wanted to see their family, other tickets were booked. I have spent ****.** pounds for the *nd trip. For the total trip i have borrowed loan **** pounds because of this incident. Few flight was cancelled from Chennai airport to Bagdogra airport. ** In Lufthansa website, nothing was mentioned about travelling to India via Germany or the need for Schengen Visa. They informed us that without Schengen visa my wife Felicita Valan cannot travel. Few weeks ago general office enquiry officer has told me that money was refunded to my account on **st of July. They refused to provide me the total amount also. However amount was not credited. I have called up HSBC and they confirmed me the same. Regarding this I have been trying to reach customer relationship UK both numbers for the past * weeks in the evening. Calls keep going for * hours and gets disconnected. I have taken * days off and trying to reach them in the morning, both of them are bypassing the calls to general reservation and no solution is provided to my refund. I have sent mails to feedback and customer relations officer several times, however no response has been given. ** Today i asked enquiry team in UK about this and they informed me that it was a different team and hence could not provide any details. I cannot believe how unprofessional and irresponsible the customer service of Lufthansa Airline is. No body has taken ownership to my calls and mails. I humbly request you to intervene in this matter and refund the full amount quickly. Attached here are some evidence as proof. **Thanks. **Best Regards*Mickle
