Pick up an online order. ... This is just a review of the Lowe's in Terre Haute Indiana. Shopping in the store is great. The associates are knowledgeable, friendly and most helpful. Where this store falls short is their pick up service. Forget curbside pickup - they're app doesn't work and you will need to go inside anyway. Whenever I place an online order I will invariably get an email stating that certain items aren't in stock (even though their site says it is in stock) and telling me I need to order a different item. So I don't order online for delivery anymore. Instead I order for delivery from Home Depot. When they state items "in stock" online - they are in stock. When I go to the pick up desk at Lowe's there is always a problem locating my order. When they do have my order it is a real hassle to receive it. I am told, "You're order's been pulled just go here and they will bring it to you". What a joke. I go there and the items haven't even been pulled yet. The lady at the back desk (******* **:**pm EDT) is clueless. She is telling me things and she has no idea what I am there to pick up. She talks over me and refuses to listen . I've got people up front at the pick up desk telling me one thing - people in the back another. The pick up service at Lowe's is sadly lacking and quite disappointing. Not worth the hassle. Again - if I want pick up services I will go to*order from the Home Depot where they excel at such a simple service. Lowe's has lost a considerable amount of my business as I do a lot of online ordering for a quick pick up and delivery as I do not live in an area with a Lowe's close by. Get it together Lowe's - it's not rocket science. If you are going to offer the service then just do it, without all the hassles, or don't offer it in the first place.
