My wife ordered a * piece patio set yesterday in Albemarle, NC. Soon after she received an email stating that the order was ready to pick up. I drove this morning to the store and park in one of the online pickup spots and called the number on the instructions on the post in front of me. No one answered so I went in side and they could not find the order that was under my name and my Lowe's Advantage card which was used for the purchase. I returned later with the email and order number and parked in an online pickup spot. Again, no one answered the phone so I went inside. The associate found the order, again under my name, and called to have the order brought out. About ** minutes later another associate came out and said they where having trouble finding it. I ask that they just call me when they found it and please leave it at the front. It was about *:** PM at this point. After receiving no calls, I called to see if it was ready and the associate said they would have to look for it. After ** minutes on hold, the phone switched to another department they had no clue what I was talking about. I called back ** minutes later to see if any progress was being made and the associate that asnwered was eager to send me to the outdoor furniture department as soon as I started explaining my problem. I ask if they handle on-line orders and she just transfered me anyway. The associate in the outdoor furniture department ask me to hold, but after another ** minutes, nothing. After another ** minutes I called back and cancelled the order: Order * *********. Over $****. That associate apologized but made no attempt to see what the problem on their end was. Please let Lowe's know that this is a very odd way to do business.
