Washer and dryer to be installed Sat. Feb. *st. Both came to house. Washer had gash in front of casing. Installed dryer and was told by installer to call Lowes about getting another washer. Called Lowes Fairmont Pkwy. and received no answer in the department.**Drove to Lowes location above about *:** pm. Was sent to appliance department. Was assisted by Inez that told me the washer would be delivered on Sunday, Feb *nd. I advised her that I go to church in the AM and to tell the delivery vendor that it would have to be delivered in the PM on Sunday. ** Received a call at *:** pm on my home phone, which I asked not to call on) and I was not home so did not receive the call. Called the delivery vendor back and they said they were checking on the refused washer. I told them my story and asked when my washer was going to be delivered on Sunday ***. She said there was not a delivery for me.**I hung up from her and called the Lowes store above. Asked Inez for the manager. Dill answered (manager?). Dill, after much discussion, advised me that I was NOT getting a delivery on Sunday because by the time he got involved the window for next day delivery was closed and it would be Monday, *** for delivery. I advised him that he should have not had to get involved because I came to the store and Inez assured me it would be delivered on Sunday.**Now it is Sunday night. Dill did not call me today to assure me all was OK for tomorrow. He did not say he would but a good manager would have called me.**I had not gotten a call from the delivery people by *:** PM on Sunday *** to advise me the window for my delivery for *** so I called them. The lady that answered the phone, was at my daughters for Super Bowl and did not get name, advised me that I was not on the schedule for *** for my washer delivery. I told her my story and she said she would call Dill at the store and find out what happened with my order. He was gone for the day and she said she asked for the current manager and she was transferred and got cut off. I had that experience also.**She said she would call me back about. my delivery. NOPE!! SHE DID NOT CALL ME BACK!! I CALLED THE DELIVERY * AT *:** PM AND THEY ARE CLOSED UNTIL TOMORROW!!! TALK ABOUT POOR SERVICE!!!!**I RETIRED AS A SECOND LEVEL MANAGER WITH ATT AND I KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS. THIS IS NOT HOW TO DO IT. I AM ** YEARS OLD AND HAVE SPENT AT LEAST * HOURS AND WHAT WAS AN UNNECESSARY TRIP TO LOWES, TO GET MY WASHER RESCHEDULED. I AM VERY ANGRY AND IF MY WASHER IS NOT INSTALLED TOMORROW AFTERNOON THEN LOWES CAN HAVE MY WASHER DRYER BACK. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'M EMBARRASSED FOR YOUR COMPANY. AS YOU HAVE PROBABLY NOTICED I AM A CHRISTIAN AND DO NOT USE VULGAR LANGUAGE.
