Estimated pick up date: * business days (as per phone call to store after placing order). Ordered item * ****** * model * LS***-A @ $**.**... Have called * time now looking for this item and while the people that I spoke to were very understanding and polite, I am very frustrated as I have had to improvise in a way that is not safe. The item (truck rack, ladder stop - pack of *) is to hold my ladders on my ladder rack in a secure and safe manner. I went on line to search for an alternative method for my situation and found a competitor (ACME Tools) selling the same item, but at double the price of what Lowes is charging. Now I'm thinking, does Lowes have this item advertised at an incorrect price? Is the best action to take, NO action at all? Just tell the customer that the item is on order and we'll contact you when it arrives? I guess the average customer will simply give up and move on - no harm * no fault! He'll be back... Or, will he?*I want the item that I ordered and I need that item now!
