Hello, *I recently bought a Whirlpool dishwasher from Lowes in Mooresville, Indiana. As they are very expensive appliances, we had to save up to afford such a new item. We finally purchased the item and when we received the dishwasher our delivery guy was very friendly, which was great, but we are currently in a remodel process of our home and had to wait a few days to open the box. After proceeding to open the box, the dishwasher did not come with a power cord, so we had to make another trip to our local store and purchase one, where we received a-lot of attitude from the local employee because we were supposedly “not informed” on dishwasher educate. Not only was the dishwasher missing the cord, but also had two dents in it. We can not prove that they were there when we received the dishwasher because we did not open the box when delivery man was present. Then while installing the dishwasher, we had to remove the handle because the plastic wrap was underneath of it, which is terrible because why should the customer have to remove the handle on their brand new dishwasher they just received. While unscrewing the handle, it fell and slid down the front face of it & left a scratch. When we purchased it, the sign clearly stated, “SCRATCH RESISTANT.” This was obviously not true. So now, we have a “brand new” dishwasher with two dents, a large scratch, and hurt feelings from rude employees at our local Lowes. I am contacting you today because I believe if I would have went back to my local store I would have received the same unfriendly confrontation. I do realize that nothing can probably be done about this, but it is just so sad to see such a great business like Lowes, who we have bought all of our previous appliances from, go down hill. I guess we will just have to go to Menards next time. Thank you for your time *-Abigail Harris
