On June 1st, while driving westbound on the [redacted] freeway around 5:20 am, I had a concerning incident at the Pass Ave exit. As I was turning right, a metro bus in the inside lane abruptly cut into my lane, leading me to swerve onto the median to avoid a collision. This resulted in approximately $[redacted]-$[redacted] worth of damage to my Porsche Boxster's front driver side tire and rim. Despite reporting the incident to the metro and being assured a claim form would be sent, I did not receive it after multiple follow-ups. Today, I am resorting to filing the claim online. I urge for this matter to be addressed promptly for my reimbursement and for the metro driver to be reminded of safe turning practices in dual lane situations. My contact details are: Lance Patrick Bruyette [redacted] Natick Ave North Hills, CA [redacted] Phone: [redacted] Thank you, Sincerely, Lance Patrick Bruyette

Yesterday, I experienced an unfortunate incident during my trip on the Gold Line. I was heading to the Disney Hall for a concert by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Upon boarding the train at Heritage Square station, I noticed limited seating, with some benches occupied. As I attempted to find a spot, I ended up next to a gentleman sleeping on one bench and another person taking up two spots, including one for his unusual metal strip possession. Despite the unpleasant smell of urine in the area, I attempted to sit down but lost my balance as the train started moving, injuring my forearm on the metal strip. Concerned about the bleeding, I struggled to find first aid assistance at Union Station but was disappointed to learn there was none available. Thankfully, a kind coffee vendor came to my aid, allowing me to patch up my wound temporarily and still enjoy the concert. I suggest adding a first aid station at Union Station for future incidents like mine. On a positive note, I appreciate the MTA for having all the escalators I needed in operational condition, which was a rare comfort after the incident.

I boarded bus line [redacted] at Chatsworth Station and asked for a transfer pass for $2.50. I received the pass, took the bus to Topanga and Plummer, completed my errand, then tried to use the transfer on bus [redacted]. The driver said the transfer was invalid, so I had to pay the fare again. Lacking change for $20.00, I only had $1.70, but managed to get change at my second stop and purchased a $7.00 day pass. I believe I should be reimbursed for this inconvenience, as I was given inaccurate information, sold a useless transfer pass, and had to buy a day pass to complete my journey.

While I was driving in the right lane, a large red metro bus suddenly tried to merge into my lane without signaling or any warning. The bus driver showed no intention of moving over until the last minute, almost causing an accident. Thankfully, I was able to safely avoid a collision by moving to the left lane since it was empty. However, the bus driver showed no remorse or even acknowledged the dangerous situation they put me in. It's disappointing when public transportation drivers act recklessly like this and don't take responsibility for their actions on the road.

Yesterday at 10:55 p.m., I boarded Bus line [redacted] with bus number [redacted] at Skirball Station, heading southbound. I requested the driver, with number [redacted], to reload my transit Tapping card with $7. Following his instructions, I inserted $7 into the machine and tapped my card twice, as he directed. Unfortunately, no credit was added to my card. The driver advised me to contact the Agency Division 15 for assistance, and that's what I am doing now. My name is Yoel Sudry, residing at [redacted] El Cerrito Pl, Apt [redacted], Los Angeles, CA [redacted]. You can reach me at [redacted]. Please either reimburse me the amount due or provide a new card. Thank you and have a great day. Dear Agency *=?

I recently had a troubling experience on the Red Line bus at North Hollywood Red Line Station. The bus driver refused to let me use the bike rack, even though I had already placed my bike on it for 20 minutes. Not only did he ask me to remove it, but he also denied me a refund and even threatened to involve the police, which felt unfair. I tried to follow the rules stated on your website allowing bikes on buses, as I have done on many other buses in LA without any issues. This specific driver's actions seemed discriminatory, and his badge number is [redacted]. I kindly request a prompt response before tomorrow's end to address this situation, or else I will seek legal counsel regarding this matter with MTA. Thank you.

I was riding the [redacted] bus on my way to work, a route I frequently take to the DMV. Suddenly, at around 7:19 AM, the bus came to an abrupt stop causing me to slide over a seat and hit my forehead on the side panel of the front seat where I was sitting. I immediately checked and took photos of my forehead. When I informed the driver about the incident, he seemed doubtful and uncaring, suggesting that I must have done something to cause the injury since everyone else was fine. Feeling neglected, I took pictures to document his response to my injury. I am seeking an apology, the option to visit the emergency room to check for any head injuries due to swelling, and compensation for having to leave work, go home to ice my head, and being unable to seek medical attention without insurance or transportation. I am requesting reimbursement for the emergency room visit, time lost at work and the DMV, among other unforeseen expenses.

My name is Mary Ann Moore (Duboise). I am seeking guidance on my father Leslie Duboise's life insurance policy. He worked at the El Monte station for 30 years until his passing on 9/28/[redacted]. As one of his three children listed on the policy, I am trying to understand the process to receive my share. Allegedly, my brother claimed the entire amount and warned me against seeking legal assistance. I appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

Good morning, I work at [redacted] N. Gaffey St. in San Pedro. About a month ago, a car hit the bus stop sign, which remained on the floor for a month before being removed. Now, the drivers are saying the stop no longer exists. When I'm on Vermont before reaching Gaffey, I have almost been hit by a car twice due to the lack of sidewalks and the curves. The following stop on Weston presents the same issues with no sidewalks, curves, hills, and speeding cars. It's dangerous for me to walk to work, especially when it's dark due to the time change. I'd like to know how to request to have the bus stop sign put back on Gaffey St. in San Pedro. Thank you.

Hello! I would like to report an incident that occurred while I was on the line 4 bus this morning. The driver stopped at the Div. station and left the bus unattended for a restroom break. I unexpectedly fell asleep and woke up as the bus was arriving downtown after about 40 minutes, feeling sore. I noticed specific individuals on the bus and believe they were involved in the incident. I transferred to line 53 and observed more people with distinct clothing colors, prompting me to seek medical attention. I am requesting video footage and transcripts of the incident for further investigation. This incident took place in Los Angeles, CA. My name is Veronica Lopez, the owner of lines 2, 4, and [redacted]. On a separate note, I did not agree to the route change to South Central for line 4 and require the special stops for line [redacted]. I have not received the messages about these changes. Thank you. Veronica Lopez (& Grimes)

The West Hills Line [redacted] bus did not arrive at 7:05 am today, 1/12/[redacted], as indicated on both the apps/browsers displaying bus ETA. This has caused me to be late for work numerous times, jeopardizing my job. The inconsistent schedules and route changes, possibly due to a lack of bus drivers during the ongoing pandemic, are unacceptable. I strongly oppose paying for an unreliable service and insist on an immediate resolution to this issue. I will continue to voice my concerns and urge others to do the same until this matter is addressed. Thank you, J. R.

On July 6, [redacted], at 11:25 am, I was driving along Firestone Blvd when bus [redacted] suddenly veered into my lane. Despite honking to alert them, the bus ignored me, honked back, and almost collided with my vehicle. I was saved by a considerate driver in the adjacent lane who allowed me to merge. Bus [redacted] aggressively forced its way into my lane, then moved to a turning lane. At the traffic light, the driver gestured rudely before turning left onto Downey Ave and speeding away. This reckless behavior appeared to stem from the driver's haste to make a turn, yet this does not justify such dangerous driving. Bus drivers are expected to anticipate their stops and turns, making their actions highly unprofessional and hazardous.

To address bumpy rides caused by potholes, consider acquiring the patent rights for Jaguar's suspension system documented as US[redacted]-B2. This patented technology could be adapted for use in buses. Use Jaguar's innovative approach from a past commercial where they showcased their vehicle's stability by carrying a full glass of wine without any disturbance while the vehicle navigated uneven terrains. Implementing this technology in buses could provide passengers with a smoother and quieter ride. Promoting this enhancement could attract more riders and improve overall satisfaction. For further discussions, please contact Lelan Anderson at [redacted] or email at [redacted]

My son boarded the MTA Culver City bus at 2:28 pm. As he was walking to the back, the bus abruptly stopped, causing him to fall and hit his arms and head. He has bruises on his arms, a sore collarbone, and a headache. Despite being a minor, I was not notified and no supervisor was called. He filled out a courtesy report but left the bus soon after. The bus driver mentioned they should have hit the car instead of braking so suddenly. I am concerned about not being informed as a parent and would like a detailed explanation and report of the incident.

I was waiting at Ventura and White Oak for bus line [redacted] heading towards Northridge scheduled to arrive at 5:11pm. My daughters and I waited for about 5 minutes in 95-degree weather when the bus driver passed us without stopping. As a result, we had to endure an additional 10 minutes of waiting in the extreme heat. I hope the driver's supervisor addresses this behavior and ensures all passengers are picked up at every stop. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I'm quite upset because some bus drivers have been rude, with one not even stopping for me even though he saw me at the door when the traffic light turned green. This incident occurred at the SepĂșlveda Blvd/ Vanowen St. CA, [redacted] location on the [redacted] route heading to Sylmar station. I kindly request better training for your staff to be more professional and compassionate. Thank you.

Dear Community Members, Today, while riding the [redacted] East bus to Burbank, I encountered an issue with the bus driver regarding adding funds to my senior card. Despite adding $3, the balance did not reflect the addition. This has happened with this driver before, and I want to address it without causing any trouble. After discussing the situation with a police officer and showing him a video I recorded, he advised me to reach out to you. The bus driver's number may end with 34, and although I believe she did not mean harm, I simply wish to have my $3 refunded. I understand the driver may be a hardworking individual and do not want to affect her job. Any assistance in resolving this matter, such as reloading my senior card, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Tony (Anthony) Chauncey

Approximately 10 minutes ago at 7th/Metro station while waiting for the Blue Line, the security guard with a gun stood very close behind me while I was listening to music with earplugs. I suffer from high anxiety and have experienced police brutality in the past. The guard needs to maintain a safer distance from commuters. As a military veteran, even the police don't behave in such a manner. Kindly ensure that they stand further back with their firearms at a subway station. This message comes from a man who is still shaken by the incident.
