I am Sergeant White #[redacted] from the York Regional Police in Ontario, Canada. I am currently investigating a harassment incident where a potential suspect accessed my victim's LinkedIn profile using a private account. I believe that the information on this 'private' account could help identify the suspect in this case. I am seeking to uncover the identity of the private profile that accessed Matthew MU's profile on January 3, [redacted]. MU reported the incident to LinkedIn and received reference #[redacted]49 from the Safety and Recovery Consultant Response team. While LinkedIn closed the case, I am interested in exploring what actions law enforcement can take to obtain information from this private account. I would greatly appreciate a prompt response. Hello, I am Dana Simmons, a photographer. I am upset because someone posted negative political statements on my site, which may inaccurately reflect my views. Despite emailing them with no response, I made it clear on my site that I do not want political rhetoric. Later, a friend linked me to a Business site with a promo email that included the same individual (Betsy Duhamel) making politically charged remarks. I reached out to the person responsible for the promo, expressing my concerns. He called me back, assuring me he was unaware and expressing his worry. We plan to discuss this further. I believe LinkedIn should address this issue seriously as it invades privacy. Members should not impose their political views on others without consent.

I'm struggling with accessing my Linkedin account after resetting my Samsung S10+ phone without disabling two-step authentication (2SA) first. Now, I'm unable to log in as Linkedin recognizes my phone as a new device without 2SA enabled. This obstacle has hindered my ability to use the platform, and seeking assistance from Linkedin hasn't been fruitful. I need guidance on how to bypass the 2SA and regain access to my account. It's a frustrating situation that I unintentionally brought upon myself.

Dear Community, I have encountered an issue with LinkedIn where my membership fee increased to [redacted] Swedish kronor per month since September [redacted] without my consent. Despite my efforts to address this, the amount continues to be deducted from my account every month. I have been a long-time annual member, and I find the monthly fee excessive. Although I attempted to close my account on 20 December, I was still charged the monthly fee recently. My requests are as follows: 1. Cease the monthly deduction of [redacted] SEK immediately. 2. I've been trying to cancel a course I signed up for but find it too basic. Unfortunately, Nikita's email is a no-reply address, which makes it hard to reach them. I'd like to avoid any billing issues. Strangely, my profile upgraded to Premium without my consent. Hello support team, I believe a direct marketing company on LinkedIn has used someone else's credit card information, and I was wrongly charged for a service I was unaware of. To address this, I have canceled my credit card and requested Citi Bank to disable my online banking to prevent further unauthorized transactions. It's important to note that I never used my Citi card for online purchases. I kindly request your organization to investigate this matter, as I suspect others may be affected as well. Fraudulent activities through LinkedIn reflect poorly on your company. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated. If I do not receive a response, I will have to share my experience on various digital platforms to raise awareness about unauthorized credit card usage. I am Orlando Chambers, and I am reaching out to address the issue of a fake duplicate account created in my name on your platform. Despite reporting this fraudulent account months ago, it remains active. In the Netherlands, this constitutes identity theft and is punishable by up to 5 years in prison under privacy laws. The content on this page, specifically referring to my educational background as "GAY" in both the official training and "about you" sections, has had a significantly negative impact on my life. I am trying to switch from Sales Navigator to a Premium Business account on LinkedIn. I have canceled my Sales Navigator subscription, but it will take 4 days to be effective. Once it's canceled, I am unsure if my account will revert to Basic and if I will lose the Premium features. I am looking for guidance on how to seamlessly transition to Premium Business without losing any data. Any advice on how to achieve this switch would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I would appreciate assistance reviewing my LinkedIn profile. Today at 07:55 AM GMT+1 on January 20, [redacted], I suspect unauthorized access by an individual, potentially named Shay, or a female administrator within LinkedIn. There seems to be activity on my account, including downloading my CV without permission, and deliberate log-outs. It appears to be an internal LinkedIn administrator, possibly involved in closing tech pages I am working on. I feel my account has been misused, with reports being made without my consent, leading to death threats I have received. I urgently request LinkedIn's intervention to address this issue. I want to clarify that while I may manage some pages, I am not associated with ESSSR, Marcharh, none, or RCS. These affiliations are causing great confusion, and I ask for their removal. Hello there, I recently received a one-month free subscription with LinkedIn, but I mistakenly selected the Career subscription instead of the Sales Navigator. I made this choice via Apple, and now I am unable to upgrade until my free subscription ends on February 8, [redacted], which was about two weeks ago. I executed this on my iPhone 8 running iOS 14.3. I have already contacted an Apple Technician, but they were unable to assist. They mentioned that LinkedIn would need to address this issue. I am surprised by the difficulty I am experiencing in resolving this simple matter. I am also taken aback that LinkedIn's online support requested a fee for this service, even after I explained that Apple had already reviewed the situation and advised me to reach out to LinkedIn. I kindly request for my free trial to be upgraded to Sales Navigator until February 8, [redacted], without any additional charges, please. My account has been restricted for the third time, and I had to request details on what I supposedly did wrong. On the previous occasions, they refused to provide any explanation. I observed others using offensive language and making threats without consequences, so I believed I was not out of line. Even though they claimed I posted prohibited content, I was unclear on the specifics. Only during this recent incident did they reveal three instances that led to the permanent restriction. I was surprised as sharing factual links shouldn't be a violation. I maintain accuracy and reported individuals making threats, yet they remain active. Without clear communication on the wrongdoing, it's challenging to comply. Having my account reinstated is crucial for my work.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account and suspect it may have been hacked. Despite creating a backup account under the name "Mike Greenly," I urgently require access to my original account. Following "Ella" from customer service's request for identification verification, I encountered obstacles due to the recent loss of my trusted bookkeeper. I provided a [redacted] Driver's License as requested by Ella but was informed it was unacceptable. I attempted to offer alternative proofs such as my photo in published books and my work as the author of Virginia's state anthem. Despite these efforts, my attempts were still unsuccessful. I diligently followed instructions by submitting a notarized form to CitiBank to verify my identity, yet I am still locked out of my account. Regarding Peter Reichwald's LinkedIn account: On January 20th, my account was hacked, and I contacted [redacted] as I was unable to change my password. On January 21st, I regained access using my Googlemail email and successfully updated my password and activated two-step authentication. The next day, my account was restricted after submitting a verification document (my UK driving licence). Unfortunately, I haven't received any updates since then, and my account remains restricted. I signed up for a trial of Premium in December, thinking it was only a one-month trial. Due to mental health issues, I missed the deadline to cancel the trial. Upon logging into LinkedIn recently, I saw that the Premium service is still active, showing that I have been charged for a year's subscription without my consent. Today, I also learned that I have been made redundant due to the COVID crisis, adding to my stress. I kindly request the cancellation and refund of the subscription. I am in a difficult financial situation with a family to support, now unemployed and struggling with mental health. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Upon clicking "connect" on profiles, nothing happened, and I didn't receive any error messages or notifications.
