I attempted to open a link sent by Clayton Read via LinkedIn yesterday, but I was unsuccessful. After changing my password to log in to OneDrive, I still couldn't access the link. I informed Clayton Read about the issue, and he mentioned that his account was compromised. It seems like someone else has control over my account and is sending out invitations for part-time employment on my behalf. These emails have reached various people within the company, causing HR to investigate me for a possible second job or involvement in a cybersecurity breach. I urgently need to close down my hacked account. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. - Rick P.

I've been unable to access my LinkedIn account since I had a lengthy health ailment that kept me in the hospital for 6 months in September [redacted]. Even though I had the email associated and a password written down in my account journal, LinkedIn doesn't recognize either. It also doesn’t accept the cell number I used to set up the account, which I have had since before joining LinkedIn. I don’t want to create a new account because I have recommendations on my page and valuable network contacts. Since setting up the account, both the email used to set it up and my secondary email are inactive and shut down by providers. I would like someone to assist me in trying to regain access to this account and update my information so I can continue using it as a networking tool and keep the referees and contacts I made in the process. Please, note that I am wary of scams, so unless you can provide me with a customer service number, I would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance!

I experienced a psychiatric or nervous breakdown due to threats as a whistleblower, leading to inappropriate behavior that violated LinkedIn's rules. I am deeply sorry and have received recent hospital care and started new medication. As a survivor of human trafficking with case number [redacted] at 1-88-[redacted], I'm requesting the restoration of my LinkedIn account, crucial for my family's well-being. Hello LinkedIn representative, I am Sutakanyanat K., representing Boaz Research Group, an Expert Network company. We are currently facing issues with multiple account usage, which resulted in all our accounts being blocked. This happened because some of our new employees were undergoing training, requiring shared use of IDs until their accounts were set up. We apologize for not complying with LinkedIn's terms and regulations and assure you that this won't reoccur. Could you please consider reopening our accounts for our essential work on LinkedIn? My account has been blocked on LinkedIn for violating their Terms of Service. I believed it was a misunderstanding, so I submitted my government ID for identity verification. I am hoping for a positive response to unblock my account. I have been using LinkedIn to promote my business since its inception. However, as a first-time user, I unknowingly breached LinkedIn's policies. After carefully studying their guidelines, I am confident in complying with them. I kindly ask for the reinstatement of my closed LinkedIn account.

Hello, I'm experiencing issues with my account being restricted possibly due to inactivity. Despite submitting a personal ID card and passport, the system isn't accepting them. Do I need to resubmit scanned copies of the documents as I previously sent pictures of the physical documents? I attempted to create a new account with a different email, which has also been restricted. Kindly advise on how I can access proper customer support to verify my identity and regain access to my LinkedIn account. Thank you.

My LinkedIn account was unexpectedly restricted today. I was asked to change my password upon logging in, and after doing so, I received a message about my account being restricted. I may have mistakenly sent too many connection invitations to my friends, which I read can lead to restrictions. I will be more cautious with my account moving forward as LinkedIn is an important platform for me. Could you please review my account, unlock it, and allow me to regain access? I am certain that I have not violated any rules that would warrant a restriction. LinkedIn is crucial for both my social and business engagements, and I hope to resolve this matter promptly. Details: Account Name: A. Ahlenu Email: [redacted] Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Hi Coral, I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to address an issue regarding a direct debit that was processed for my LinkedIn account. Unfortunately, I am facing financial constraints and cannot afford to make a full-year payment upfront. I kindly request that the full amount taken from my account be refunded immediately. Moving forward, I would like to resume the monthly direct debit as previously arranged. I have lodged a complaint with my bank concerning the abrupt full payment by LinkedIn and would appreciate your assistance in rectifying this matter. Additionally, I would like to request the removal of automatic renewal to prevent similar problems in the future. I kindly ask for a contact number where I can reach you for a more direct conversation. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Carla N. [redacted]

My account was suspended due to suspicious activity. I haven't been using my accounts because it seems someone named Freda Richardson shares my phone number and T-Mobile service. I've been investigating the Windows bootstrap on my MacBook Air for 3 days. My iCloud and iPhone were also compromised. In my work with cyber crimes, I reported the hacking to LinkedIn upon receiving their email. I have substantial evidence that someone else is using my identity. It's important to review the email I replied to.

I received an email from you stating that my account was restricted without giving a reason. In my response, I explained that I have not been using my accounts due to being hacked. The hacker has used my accounts, personal information, and even has the same phone number and service provider, known as ghost riding. I have been trying for the past three days to remove the windows bootstrap called Python from my MacBook Air. My accounts on all my devices have been accessed multiple times daily. I have evidence of cyber crimes. After you requested a photo to verify my identity, I sent one, and you responded by permanently suspending my account. It would have been beneficial if you had read my initial email about being hacked. I specialize in cyber crimes.

Good morning! I have a concern about LinkedIn's messaging feature. Predefined phrases like "Thank you" and "Goodbye" automatically appear during chats, affecting my individuality. Can someone advise on how to disable this feature? It hinders personal expression and limits creativity. I would like to use my own words when communicating. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you, Selvakumar.

I am a reporter with Science magazine and have registered for the upcoming Webinar for journalists in early December. I am looking forward to participating in the Linked in for journalists program. I had signed up for the free Premium access for one month, intending to cancel it by October 30, which I forgot to do. I kindly request a refund for the $60 charged to my credit card for the service from Oct 30-Nov 30. My company does not cover this expense. Thank you for your understanding.
