Hello, my name is Michael McGill. I signed up for a free month of the premium account while I was in school and job hunting. As the month neared its end, I chose to cancel since I rarely used it and couldn't afford it. Recently, I noticed charges on my card. I've been trying to reach LinkedIn, but they mention a high volume of cases. I'm frustrated to be charged $32 for a profile I don't use, thought I had canceled, and now can't get through to anyone because they're too busy. I believe a business dealing with personal and credit card information should have better customer support. Instead of struggling with emails and automated responses, talking to a person for assistance would be more effective. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted]

I have been trying to change my primary email on LinkedIn from [redacted] to [redacted] for weeks now. Despite following the steps carefully, I keep getting stuck in a loop. After clicking on "me", then account settings and privacy, followed by the account tab, and then email addresses, when I try to make [redacted] my primary email, I am prompted to confirm it. I have clicked on "resend verification" numerous times from the email sent by LinkedIn Security, but when I click on the verification link, it takes me to a screen about restoring applications instead of confirming the email. I have tried selecting cancel and continue, but the process keeps repeating without confirming the email. I believe the issue lies in this error screen. I have contacted tech support, but the problem persists. Please assist me with this issue.

Hello, I am reiterating my ongoing issue with changing my primary email address on LinkedIn to [redacted] Despite following the instructions after changing my password, I am stuck in a loop while trying to update my email. Each time I attempt to make [redacted] my primary email, I am prompted to confirm it, even though I have already done so through the provided link. I have tried to resend the verification without success, which leads me back to square one. I wonder if there could be a pop-up blocker on my lsam.com email causing the issue. This recurring problem is frustrating, and I am eager to have [redacted] as my primary email and [redacted] as a backup. I can be reached at [redacted] for further assistance. Thank you, Chris Klinetob

Hello LinkedIn Team, I need assistance as someone has created a fake profile on LinkedIn using my information. The profile has my photo and job title but no job descriptions. They have sent friend requests to my connections and have been harassing them through Google Hangouts using a fake Gmail account with my photo. I find this situation disturbing and have decided to file a cybercrime report. I am hoping LinkedIn can help trace this fake profile to gather information about the person behind it. I suspect my account has been compromised as I am not receiving any emails from LinkedIn in my [redacted] address. Even though it has been a while since I last accessed my account, I can still find a profile under my name. The information displayed, such as my previous job title as a Real Estate Advisor at Royal LePage, is outdated as I am no longer in that role. Despite trying to reset my password multiple times, I do not receive any emails from LinkedIn for the password reset process. I suspect that someone may have hacked my LinkedIn account and added a new forwarding email without my knowledge, which is why I cannot receive the reset emails in my [redacted] account. I also have another email, [redacted], and my phone number is [redacted]. I reside in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. I would like to either close my LinkedIn page that currently shows me as a Real Estate Advisor or at least hide it from public view until I can update it properly in the future.

Hello, I go by the name Irv G. and I am a premium LinkedIn member working as an Associate Director at Grosvenor Performance Group. I've noticed that my profile email has been changed from my original email, [redacted], to an unfamiliar one. Today, when I tried to log in on the LinkedIn phone app after a long time, it prompted me to log back in. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so because the current email on the profile is not mine, making it impossible to access my account. To add to this, my old email, [redacted], is now obsolete, and I must update it to [redacted], which is my current work email listed on my profile. As a premium member, frequent access to my LinkedIn account is crucial, so I need to regain access promptly. Could you please assist by removing the unfamiliar email from my profile and replacing it with my current work email, [redacted], given my previous email is no longer in use? I have attached my photo ID for verification. Your urgent help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Shane Lamont

Could someone adjust my profile by removing the incorrect email and adding my current work email promptly? I've included my photo ID for verification. Your prompt help is greatly appreciated. My account, DKS & Associates of Texas National Flat Fee Food Recruiters, has been taken offline (restricted). I have nearly 4,[redacted] contacts, and I am unsure of what I did wrong. They are requesting a download of my driver's license, which is concerning as I fear I may be dealing with a hacker on LinkedIn again. In the past, I have had issues with hackers claiming to have worked for LinkedIn, knowing my password which led me to change it and disregard their demands. I am worried about my driver's license being exposed. The account was created under Darla Young (my maiden name), but my name is Darlene Schafer. I own DKS & Associates of Texas and (website) dksourcing.com. There is a secondary account linked to [redacted] that I rarely use. If possible, can you address this issue, explain why my account was restricted, and help me rectify the situation? Thank you in advance. Darlene Schafer

I received a message from the Linked-In Customer Center instructing me to contact Engineer Eric Brassily at the email address [redacted] The email stated that I won $[redacted],[redacted].00 in the LinkedIn online international raffle draw, selected by Mr. Jeff Weiner, the CEO of LinkedIn. The winnings include $[redacted],[redacted] for me, $50,[redacted] for orphanages, $50,[redacted] for Muslim mosques, and $50,[redacted] for Christian churches. The email mentions a visit from the LTB Team to ensure compliance in two months. It advises me to contact Mr. Eric Brassily with the provided email for claiming instructions. The email aims to help fight poverty and improve living standards. I am curious about the authenticity of this offer and if such opportunities exist.

My LinkedIn account was restricted unexpectedly for activity I'm unaware of. After submitting my license for verification, I received a message from LinkedIn stating they temporally suspended my account to verify certain actions. I responded promptly to their questions to regain access, clarifying that I did not access from another country, used a VPN from Covenant Eyes, and did not initiate any mass messaging. I am concerned about potential hacking or misuse of my account. I haven't received any further updates, so I seek clarification on how this situation will impact my account in the future and how I can restore access. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be appreciated. Thank you, Greg.

I'm having trouble completing my registration. I initially started the process but paused when I got confused about the information being requested. Now I can't move forward or create a new account. The system keeps saying my email is already in use by someone else. I would appreciate it if this issue could be fixed. I prefer to have all current information deleted so that I can start fresh with my email address. Thank you.

I signed up for a free trial subscription, with the understanding that I'd receive a reminder about the renewal payment. However, I was charged $[redacted] without any prior notice. I did not want to renew my subscription as it doesn't meet my current needs. I request LinkedIn to revert my account to a basic subscription and refund the charged amount. I do not wish to have LinkedIn Premium or pay $[redacted] for it.

I am in need of assistance with my LinkedIn account. I need to regain access to my personal account, separate my personal email and phone number from my former employer's account, and update my profile as I am job hunting. My personal account, "Allyson Every," has been active for over eight years. The organization I used to run, "The Labor Guild," is currently linked to my personal email and phone number. I need to reclaim my personal contact information for my account and link the organization's account to their main contact information. I am unsure how to resolve this issue and would greatly appreciate any guidance provided. Thank you. Allyson E. Rockland, MA [redacted]

I kindly request an emailed confirmation to [redacted] once the refund for next month's subscription processes. The support provided is subpar without live chat available. After searching online for phone numbers, I was directed in circles. It's frustrating how early billing occurs without proper assistance accessible. Regrettably, I will need to share negative feedback regarding the poor customer service encountered and advise against using LinkedIn Premium to others.

To whom it may concern, I signed up for a Sales Navigator free trial, and LinkedIn has charged me £[redacted] without sending me a notification stating your policy and payment conditions as you stated you would do at the beginning of my trial. I understood that I would receive an email before the payment was processed, giving me the option to cancel or subscribe to the service. Unfortunately, my company does not want to use Sales Navigator, and I cannot afford the full subscription for personal use. Please urgently assist me and explain the compensation/remediation options available to terminate my account. This situation is financially challenging for me, leaving me with no funds in my bank account with personal bills due before my next paycheck in four weeks. I have already canceled my account today, but the payment was already deducted before I could do so. Can you provide me with someone to talk to and resolve this promptly? Thank you, L. K.
