LinkedIn charged my PayPal account for their premium service plan without my permission. They did so unethically, deducting the funds without any prior notice. They billed me for a whole year instead of offering a monthly payment option. This was done just a day before my trial period was set to finish. I did not receive any communication from them beforehand. PayPal is waiting for a 15-day grace period before reversing the charge.

Hello, I am having trouble with my LinkedIn profile not being visible to others. It seems like I don't have a LinkedIn account, and even my existing contacts cannot see it. I haven't changed anything in my settings for a while, except now, of course, to try to make myself visible again, but nothing is working. Please check and fix this. Thank you in advance!

Hello, I have applied for a work visa in New Zealand, and I have been asked to provide a job listing history to prove that the company has advertised the role long enough. The role was advertised on LinkedIn by a recruiter named 3rd Eye Recruitment. The ad has been renewed for the past 8 months. However, the screenshot only shows the renewal date, not the original publish date. Is there a way for LinkedIn to provide a record showing the original publish date on the backend? The job was initially posted as "Discerning Digital Content Creative" at Aspect Furniture and then changed to "Digital Creative Lead". Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to connect the Director of 3rd Eye with you if needed. Thank you. Best, Jani

Dear Sirs, I am a regular LinkedIn user who frequently blogs about my local property market. Recently, my ability to add contacts on LinkedIn was suspended due to exceeding the allowable limit. I aim to connect with professionals in the York, North Yorkshire area to enhance my profile and create business opportunities through my market content. I request assurance that I can continue expanding my contacts in the York area without risking account suspension or closure, as LinkedIn is crucial for my business. I kindly seek confirmation of this to maintain my professional presence. My website is www.yorkpropertynews.co.uk, where I strive to boost my visibility in my working area. Thank you, Ash

On Tuesday, March 26th, when I tried to log into my LinkedIn account, I was met with a RESTRICTED warning. Following instructions, I submitted a copy of my driver's license. After waiting 48 hours without any update, I reached out to LinkedIn help via Twitter. Just today, I received a message from customer service on Twitter, mentioning an email from the SAFETY TEAM, which I have not received. I am feeling anxious and worried that my account may have been compromised. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue promptly.

I am inquiring about the recent charge of $59.99 on 3/27/19 for the LinkedIn Premium Business account. I am an individual, not a business, and had signed up for a free trial. I would like to switch to the Premium Career plan at $29.99 per month, as that was my original choice. I request a refund of $59.99 to my Discover card. I will continue with the $29.99 plan if this matter is resolved promptly. Otherwise, I will be cancelling my account and sharing my experience with others. Please send a confirmation email once the charge reversal is processed. Thank you. - H. Jeffords

I have recently taken over managing our expenses due to my husband's health issues. I noticed a recurring $79.99 charge on our Costco VISA that I would like more information about and possibly cancel. We have been retired for many years and are not looking for employment. My name is Karen M. and my husband is Larry M. We reside in Anthem, Arizona. Can you please provide me with a contact number to discuss this matter? I do not have the account number or login details as my attempts to log in using our phone number and email were unsuccessful. We have been using the same email address and phone number for several decades. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I needed to block Brig. Gen. Albert L. Clausen from contacting me and report this individual as a fake profile. To take these actions, I had to visit his profile. I successfully blocked him, but then couldn't return to that profile to report it as fake. I'm convinced it's fake because he attempted a sweetheart scam on me, asking me to transfer $4,[redacted] to a bank account not under his name. He claims to be in Kabul, yet the account is under a woman's name in Georgia. Moreover, his story doesn't align with his profile. Please confirm that you've removed his profile from LinkedIn to prevent him from deceiving others with fraudulent schemes. He's quite cunning! As an author, I engaged with his narrative to explore it, starting on LinkedIn and continuing through email and Skype. When he requested money, I ceased contact. I've gathered enough material for a story and seek relief from his demands for money. Thank you for your help on the LinkedIn platform.

Dear LinkedIn Support, I am Neeti Gupta, Deputy Manager at ABESIT College of Engineering in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. We have two company profiles on LinkedIn for professional use - ABESIT College of Engineering and ABESIT HR. Unfortunately, both profiles have been restricted, and we are unable to log in as LinkedIn is requesting ID proof, which we cannot provide as ABESIT is an educational institution, not an individual. We kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter promptly so we can regain access to the ABESIT profiles. We value our connection with LinkedIn, alumni, and other professionals. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Two nights ago, I signed up on LinkedIn and quickly connected with like-minded individuals which I truly enjoyed. Although I might not recall every detail of my registration process, I would assume being a member for a couple of days would mean I had successfully set up an email and password during registration. However, I am now facing an issue where my password is consistently being rejected, even after attempting to reset it numerous times. LinkedIn is now requesting government ID verification, which I have done twice already. Below are my basic details: Email: [redacted] Password: rubberbaby78* Is there any chance you could assist me by inputting this information into the system? I have tried on my computer and iPhone without any success, and I fear losing the connections I have made on the platform. I replied to a contact request on the first night and wish to keep in touch with these valuable connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, John J. Langdon III

Subject: Urgent Help Needed: Hacked Account Good day, I am reaching out because my account has been hacked. Approximately 45 minutes ago, I received an email notifying me that an unfamiliar email address ([redacted]) was added to my account without my authorization. The primary email address associated with my account is [redacted], with [redacted] as the secondary address, but now I am unable to access my account. When attempting to log in, the system claims that these email addresses are not linked to any LinkedIn profile. To make matters worse, over 10 of my friends have informed me that they received a suspicious message from my account that I did not send. This situation is causing me significant distress, especially as I am actively job searching. As a premium LinkedIn member, I am deeply troubled by this security breach and urgently need your assistance to resolve this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Best regards, A.B.

The email/invoice for the free trial month stated it ended on April 1, [redacted]. I attempted to cancel my premium subscription today, assuming it was the last day, but I got charged for the next month. I have now cancelled my premium subscription and tried to remove my card as a payment method, but it can only be deleted once the subscription expires on May 1, [redacted]. Yet, I will be charged again on May 1, [redacted], without being able to remove my card. I feel stuck! Kindly refund the charged amount and remove my card from the payment methods, as the premium subscription is costly and not very useful to me.

I forgot the password to my account registered with the email address [redacted] I have been attempting to recover it by changing passwords and verifying my identity. The only valid ID I have right now is my international passport, which I have uploaded. I received an email saying it couldn't be verified as the passport is in my marriage name, not my maiden name. I am Nigerian and can be reached at +[redacted][redacted] or through my email. I am seeking to have access to my LinkedIn account restored. My username is [redacted] The account holder's name is Abiola Temitope Olaniran, and the email on the account is [redacted]

My LinkedIn account was hacked, and they removed my email address, preventing me from logging in. I urgently need to regain access to my account. I work as a recruiter and heavily rely on LinkedIn for my daily tasks. The hacker added a Hotmail address to my account, which is not mine. After noticing the breach, I immediately changed my password and removed the Hotmail address. However, the next day, I discovered that unauthorized messages were sent to my network about a job I am not involved in. Despite trying to log in using my work email and personal Yahoo email, both are not recognized, indicating that the hacker removed my email addresses from the account. I am unable to initiate a password reset because the link would be sent to the false Hotmail address. Please assist me in recovering my account promptly as I have crucial candidate communications pending.

I am having issues with my LinkedIn account ( [redacted] ) that has been restricted without any clear explanation. I have been relying on a staff member to manage this account, and now I am unable to access it. I am looking to purchase a recruiting package to hire salespeople, but my account restriction prompted me to verify my identity by uploading a copy of my driver's license. Despite providing clear and matching information, I received an auto-response stating that the ID was illegible or improper, which is not the case. I selected the Business Owner option for my company, Tips Marketing Services, Corp., which has been operating since [redacted] and holds a valid NJ license. We are interested in acquiring an employer package for recruitment purposes, particularly for hiring commissioned sales representatives. I am unsure of the specific mistake that led to the account restriction, and I would appreciate clarification so I can address it promptly and resume using my account.

This morning my profile got suspended, and I was requested to verify my identity using my passport. I have authored several articles on LinkedIn, hold a Premium Membership, and feature my LinkedIn profile on my resume. I am greatly concerned about my profile's status and feel unsure about the reasons behind it. It is crucial that my profile is reinstated promptly as I am actively applying for positions. An inability to locate my profile could raise doubts during this process. This situation is affecting my livelihood for reasons unknown to me. I request a swift response. Thank you, Dianne T.
