LinkedIn was supposed to merge contacts for two accounts. Tech insisted I change my password then give it to him. He said the work was done then demanded my credit card over the phone to pay $*** for the work. I said I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info with him over the phone (he was acting very strangely) and asked for a secure link through email or other secure method. Tech sent me an email where I would reply directly to him in the body of the email. I said no and I would like to speak to a supervisor. Tech deleted my accounts. I received an email today from Linda at LinkedIn saying my accounts were deleted for nonpayment. I think I was totally scammed.
GetHuman-mbconger did not yet indicate what LinkedIn should do to make this right.
