A couple of years, my area had high winds. As being prudent, I called LM to see if there was any damage. An adjustor came to my house and found no damage. To my surprise, I found that Liberty Mutual showed this as a claim on my letter of experience which creates a negative mark. I find this to be very underhanded and there is nothing in your Auto & Home Claims Guide that warns your client that if there is no damage or payments, you still penalize your clients. When I call Liberty Mutual, your rep said they would not change it to an inquiry. Beware to all customers, doing the proactive thing will cause you to be penalized. I want my letter of experience to show a inquiry rather than a claim. I will be sharing my story to anyone who will listen if this injustice is not corrected(personal, social media)
