Dear Lens Crafter,* On ******* I had an eye appointment with Dr. Bruce Lu at the Peabody Eye Associates. I was there for a contact and glasses exam. I opened the new prescription contact package for my right eye that Dr. Lu had given me and it slipped off my finger and landed on the floor. I picked up the lens from the floor and told him I did not want to put it in my eye. He took the contact and cleaned it with his bare hands and solution and assured me it was fine. *Reluctantly, I did put it in my eye (which I really should not have) the contact was scratching my eye I took out that contact * different times cleaning it myself but it still was uncomfortable. Dr. Lu said that I aggravated my eye by taking the lens in and out and said it was not the lens that was the problem. But it was the problem because I put my original lens back in and my eye was fine.* I went to the office today to pick up two pair of eyeglasses that cost $*** and also to get a copy of my new prescription for contacts. Dr. Lu would not give me the prescription because I did not have a follow up with him. I felt that he was very unprofessional and I didn't feel comfortable having another exam. I asked the receptionist if I could speak to him and he refused. So now I've paid the $** for that contact exam without the new prescription.*I want you to know about this situation as you are tied into Peabody Eye Associates. I don't think I will ever use Lens Crafters again and I'm considering returning the purchase of the two pair I received today.*Cindy Dennesen
