The issue in GetHuman-dlarmstr's own words
After performing updates, rec'd error - C:*Widows*system***config*systemprofile*desktop is unavailable.....hit okay tried restarting. Didn't work. Tried going going to task manager and ending explorere.exe and ran new task. Didn't work. Then tried to go through registry editor and windows NT, current version, winlogon, shell and add teh value data of explorer.exe as it was blank. THEN (thank goodness for youtube videos), I fear I have created another user by going through Permissions and add giving full control. Then Windows Network Diagnostics was kind enough to tell me there is a problem with the driver for the Wi-Fi Adaptor. Went to restart again and my password did not work. Had to 'switch users' and then it worked. It has came up but now has a sihost.exe-system warning - unknown hard error. I don't want to dig myself any deeper in the mess. Please tell me how to get my computer working! Thanks.
GetHuman-dlarmstr did not yet indicate what Lenovo should do to make this right.
