The issue in GetHuman-jdeyoung's own words
Installed a new ** seer Lennox Heatpump two weeks back. Homeowner requested I take a look, not operating correctly. Gauges on the liquid line and the third tap for heat, outside temperature is ** degrees, compressor running, liquid line pressure is ****, suction is ****. Tubing lines leaving the condenser same temperature. Placed a jumper to energize the reversing valve, pressures changed briefly and returned to same gauge readings. Can't see this being a TXV problem since both heat and cool. R*valve seems to switch. The unit I removed was *** Freon and I used the same tubing from the old unit. I discovered that there is a filter dryer in the liquid line and not sure if that could contribute to the issue. Not sure what to check now. Unit mostly operating on aux heat.
GetHuman-jdeyoung did not yet indicate what Lennox should do to make this right.
