I stayed overnight at the Le Meridien hotel for one night when attending a wedding (****-****). The room I stayed in was paid for by the bride. I checked out on **** and gave them my credit card to pay for my valet parking, which was an astronomical $**. I was told they would email me a receipt. They never did. Instead I was charged for * cars of valet parking, and $*** for a hotel stay. I never gave the hotel permission to charge my card for a room or another car's parking. Those charges should've been charged to the bride's card (the hotel had all of that information as she had ** rooms on hold and utilized the night of the wedding). I called and emailed the hotel to tell them they made the error and they have not provided me a credit since I first notified them on ****. I have spoken with and emailed with Tanika White, and her manager Jamie Cole was supposed to review this and call me and Jamie never did. I now have about $*** on my credit card, including interest, for something I should never have been charged. I just need to pay for the $** of parking. I have had no help from the hotel and have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. At this point, if I do not get a resolution, I will be heading to small claims court in Philadelphia to be reimbursed the money I was charged, as well as any additional fees and money put out because if this error. At this point, if this is not made right quickly, I will never stay at a Le Meridien or Marriott ever again, and I always stay at Marriotts.
