Good morning. Thank you for helping today. In February of this year, my husband and I bought * recliners at the Tualatin Lazy Boy. We had great customer service with Samuel Jahanian and the rest of the great staff there. We bought * lift chairs for my parents, ** and ** years old, and * leather Greyson Recliners for my husband and I. We did this because we have a ** year old Lazy Boy that has rocked * babies and mothers to sleep, our nieces and their kidlets. We love that old chair but it is now ready to retire and we bought our recliners knowing that we would be making a great purchase for the folks and for us. Sadly, we are very disappointed in our chairs. Mom and Dad love theirs and would never give them up, so that is wonderful. Ours are not comfortable. The ridge on the top hit us in the back of the head instead of the neck area ( we are not tall people ) and this causes us headaches and concerns with our aging backs. In addition, my chair no longer returns to it's upright position. I have to get out of it and push against the back to get it upright again. We did try them out in the store twice and thought they would work. We continued to think they would "break in" so did not make the decision that we were sad until after the ** day return. I did go back in and talk to the nice people in Tualatin but sadly, they did not have a solution for us. So, my question is if there is a program to sell back at a discount or other solution for us? We want to stay with Lazy Boy so we would choose other chairs and upgrade to the remote version as well. That was not a deciding factor but if there is a way to get new chairs and turn these in, we would be willing to do that to stay with Lazy Boy. We understand we would be taking the hit but we just can't afford to start completely over but we also are not satisfied with our purchase. Do you have suggestions for us? We would love to resolve this and are open to whatever your team can come up with for us.*Thanks for the consideration.
