Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out regarding the compensation for my delayed flight. I submitted my case in July [redacted], and I am inquiring why the compensation has not been transferred yet despite receiving a positive reply in October. I have attached the email from Lot Airlines regarding my case for reference. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, [Initials]

Reference booking numbers N3ABAT and P4KRZZ. Our return flight on January 1st was unexpectedly canceled without any explanation. We rescheduled for the 2nd, only for that flight to be canceled as well. We were then forced to wait until the 4th, causing us to miss three days of work. We had paid extra for emergency exit seats for the four individuals flying on both N3ABAT & P4KRZZ, yet we did not receive them. This is unacceptable considering we booked these flights six months in advance. We are requesting a refund for the seats we did not get and compensation for the abrupt cancellations with no reasons provided. Marlena.

Mr The customer service representative offered to rebook or refund the tickets. I requested a call back to confirm our decision, but unfortunately, I did not receive one. I am writing with deep disappointment regarding my recent travel experience. On April 24th, I had a flight from Kaunas to Warsaw and then to Nice. Upon arrival at Kaunas airport, I was informed about a system crash causing delays. Despite assurances that my luggage would make it onto the plane to Nice, we ended up landing in Milan due to undisclosed reasons like weather. The lack of assistance from the LOT company for onward travel to Nice was frustrating. I had to reach Monaco for work the next morning and left the plane without my luggage. After a three-day wait and purchasing work clothes, my luggage didn't arrive on my return journey on May 5th. The subsequent cancellation and delay of the Warsaw-Kaunas flight further compounded my inconvenience as I had to travel to Tallinn for work on May 7th. The cost of ā‚¬[redacted] for these flights feels exorbitant considering the series of mishaps I encountered. Flight numbers: LO796-LO341, LO344-LO795 Sincerely, Veronika D.

Hello! I am Moise Teodora. My father, Moise Emil, and I purchased tickets from Stockholm to Bucharest through kiwi.com. Our flight reservation number is VFUPLB. We had originally planned to depart from Stockholm on Monday, June 3 at 19:30 with a layover in Warsaw and then leave at 21:30. However, Kiwi informed us of changes to our flight, suggesting we depart from Warsaw at 11 am. We need to arrive in Bucharest on Thursday morning as originally planned to avoid arriving later than 1-2 am. Please assist us in finding a suitable solution for this issue. Thank you for your help! Our reservation number is VFUPLB.

My husband and I traveled from Canada to Ukraine with LOT Polish Airlines, with a connecting flight in Warsaw. Our return flight from Lviv was delayed over 2 hours, causing us to miss our connection in Warsaw. We had to wait 3 hours in line to rebook our tickets. The hotel provided for us due to the inconvenience promised dinner, which we did not receive despite multiple attempts to reach out to the airline and the hotel. Our flight the next day was also delayed, resulting in a late return to Canada. Instead of resting on Saturday, we arrived back on Sunday evening and went straight to work the next day. The lack of proper customer service left us feeling disappointed.

To Whom It May Concern, My daughter, I. F., flew from Toronto on June 17 with Polish Airline flight number 42 to Warsaw. Upon arrival, she had a connecting flight with number [redacted]. Unfortunately, her backpack did not make it to Cluj-Napoca. The backpack was placed in a large, black duffle bag in Toronto and contains all her hiking boots, clothes, personal belongings, medication, and more. I am concerned about her upcoming expedition with Operation Wallacea in the Carpathian mountains without her essential items. Please update me on the status of her backpack, which is in a large, black duffle bag. I suspect the agent at the counter may not have tagged the bag properly as it was missing when he reached for a tag, which raised some concerns. I have been attempting to reach the provided number, [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted], without success. Any assistance in locating the backpack is greatly appreciated. Thank you, I. F.

In November [redacted], my spouse and I made flight reservations from MIA to WAW with a connection to WAW to AMS departing on June 24, [redacted] (NUHQQW/NUAIQB). The return flights were from AMS to WAW on July 5 and from WAW to MIA on July 8 (O5P7U4/O76QSR). There has been a change in equipment from the [redacted] Max 8, resulting in a seat change that we are dissatisfied with. We would like to confirm our seats for all four flights and make any necessary changes now. We prefer not to have bulkhead seats and wish for seats AB or EF on the [redacted]. Additionally, we have encountered difficulties entering our passport numbers online. Prior to contacting you, we spent 27 minutes on hold with LOT in Poland via Skype before the call got disconnected. Kindly provide confirmation of our assigned equipment and seats for each flight and advise on the process to request seat changes.

Hello LOT support, My booking ID is PTEQUQ for a flight from Gdansk to Mumbai. I had an extremely unpleasant experience during this journey. I was scheduled to arrive in Mumbai on Tuesday, 9th July [redacted] at 08:10 IST, but due to delays, I only reached my destination much later at 23:30 IST on the same day. This caused me to miss important commitments in Mumbai, which was quite embarrassing for me. Additionally, despite informing the airline that I only had a Schengen ā€œCā€ type Visa, I was assigned a flight via London. This led to further complications at the immigration checkpoint and required a change in my flight plans. Upon arrival in Mumbai, my luggage (Tag Number: LO093733) did not accompany me, resulting in further inconvenience. Given the circumstances, I am concerned about the impact these unforeseen events will have on my work commitments in India, particularly the workshop for my Indian colleagues. The lack of proper assistance and repeated flight changes made the entire experience in a foreign country very challenging and distressing for me.

Check-In Problem I encountered an issue with my LOT Airlines return ticket from London Heathrow to Belgrade, with a layover in Warsaw. My ticket reference number is NDMAIH. Upon check-in at Heathrow on 28/06/[redacted] using the same ticket reference number, everything proceeded smoothly through passport and customs control. During the boarding process, no problems were raised by the LOT staff. However, upon check-in at Belgrade airport on 13/07/[redacted], I was not allowed to proceed due to a discrepancy in my first name. The ticket displayed "Katya" while my passport shows "Katarina." I was pressured into purchasing a new ticket to return to London. I find it unacceptable that there were no issues at Heathrow, yet I encountered difficulties at Belgrade airport using the same ticket reference number. I am requesting a full refund of the [redacted] euros charged at the Belgrade airport. This situation was not due to any fault of mine, as I had been checked by LOT staff at both Heathrow and Warsaw during the boarding process. I kindly await your response. Best regards, Katya

We booked tickets for 4 people from Chicago to Warsaw to Yerevan. My last name is Albertyan, the booking number is R8RKB3, and the flight number is LO727 for July 18 at 22:20. Our Chicago to Warsaw flight was fine, arriving on July 18, [redacted]. However, our Warsaw to Yerevan flight was delayed with no clear information given, leaving us waiting for an additional 5 hours. As all flights for the day ended and airport staff were preparing to leave, passengers were getting anxious, requesting company representatives. Finally, LOT representatives arrived and informed us a small aircraft would be provided, though not everyone could depart. After chaos and confusion, we were fortunate to be selected to fly, especially as we had kids. The wait for the bus shuttle was over 50 minutes with poor conditions. Boarding the small plane, different from what we paid for, left us tired, frustrated, and disappointed. This first experience with LOT was regrettably not a positive one, and we were not informed about any compensation for the inconveniences faced.

We traveled on LOT on July 13, [redacted] from Paris to St. Petersburg via Warsaw with booking reference LO/UX85H8. We experienced a significant delay departing from Paris, resulting in a rushed connection in Warsaw and our two suitcases being missing upon arrival in St. Petersburg. As we were embarking on a 10-day cruise from St. Petersburg to Moscow, we had to purchase toiletries and extra clothing in St. Petersburg, leading to an unforeseen expense of over [redacted] ā‚¬ (invoices available). After a lot of administrative hassle, our suitcases were finally delivered to us four days later during the cruise. We are requesting acknowledgment and compensation for these expenses incurred due to a malfunction attributable to LOT. We await your prompt response and are ready to provide any necessary documentation.

I booked a flight with my married name, but my passport only had my maiden name. Even though I presented three different documents showing both names, including my green card, LOT Airlines made me cancel my flight because customer service was closed after a long hold. I arrived at the airport four hours early due to past issues with LOT Airlines. I had ticket protection but still had to pay an additional $1,[redacted] on top of the original $[redacted] for rebooking. I have not received a refund for the initial ticket or assistance in fixing the name issue. If only the help desk was open when I needed them, I would have gladly paid the change fee. This frustrating experience has led me to reconsider flying LOT Airlines. I hope to have this resolved as I spent an extra 5 hours waiting for the next flight at the airport due to this situation.

My partner and I have been planning our 40th anniversary trip to Europe for a year now. We decided on Lot Airlines for our Chicago departure due to it being a direct flight, which would lessen the chances of missed connections and ensure our luggage arrived with us in Warsaw, Poland. Opting for Business Class seats, we wanted a more comfortable and relaxed journey with the added benefit of priority baggage handling. Over the next 2 1/2 months, we plan on touring Europe in a rented van, staying in Airbnb accommodations, and not staying in one place for more than 3-4 days. Unfortunately, only one of our bags was missing upon arrival, which happened to be my wife's. Despite cross-packing some items, there are things we need to replace. Departing from Warsaw on August 10th, I'm anxious about the lost luggage and uncertain if we'll ever recover it. The lack of concern from those we've spoken to is distressing, and the disconnect in communication is frustrating. I've put so much effort into making this our dream vacation, and this setback has left me feeling incredibly stressed. My claim number was issued two days ago, yet there's been no response from Chicago.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service provided during my recent flight. As an elite member of Star Alliance TK *G* [redacted]50, I encountered several issues during my journey from Zurich to Beijing with a layover in Warsaw. Despite having a confirmed ticket, I was placed on standby in Zurich and faced difficulties with obtaining baggage tags. Furthermore, I experienced challenges with receiving my special meal for gluten intolerance and was informed that I would have to pay for drinks onboard due to traveling in economy class. The in-flight entertainment system was also not functioning. Upon arrival in Beijing, my baggage was missing, and I faced unhelpful responses from both the call center and lost and found departments. Additionally, I had to purchase clothing for a work presentation as my suits were in the lost baggage. I expected better service from LOT Polish Airlines as a Star Alliance member and was surprised by the lack of amenities provided in economy class. I have also shared this feedback with Star Alliance. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Ayyapankutty Premarajan

I'm traveling to Budapest from Miami tomorrow evening. I booked my flight on August 1st and informed customer service about my service dog. However, when I called again today, the representative couldn't find the note about my dog in the system due to a previous mistake. The representative I spoke to today took down the information again and asked me to call tomorrow for confirmation. My service dog travels with me twice a year to Europe and has all the necessary paperwork. I hope the previous call is recorded for reference. I don't want to pay for someone else's error. My ticket number is [redacted], Petra Szalai. Can you please confirm that my service dog can accompany me? Thank you.

My flight, LO [redacted] from Rzeszow to Warsaw on Monday, September 23rd, was cancelled. I filed a claim with my travel insurance provider as per the policy. LOT airlines issued a basic paper statement, but the insurer requires written confirmation directly from LOT to process the claim. LOT stated they don't provide written confirmations for cancelled flights. This seems to negate the purpose of having travel insurance. I believe I am entitled to a written delay confirmation. LOT's refusal to provide it feels outdated and bureaucratic. The insurance company suggested I submit a claim to them along with LOT's reasons for denial.

Dear Sir, I was a passenger of LOT on October 15, [redacted], flying from Zagreb to Riga with connecting flights. My wallet containing the old boarding passes was stolen in Riga on October 19, [redacted]. The boarding passes are essential for my business trip and for reimbursement purposes. I kindly request a copy of the two boarding passes for the flights: 1. LO612 LOT Polish Airlines from Zagreb to Warsaw departing at 12:05 and arriving at 13:04, and 2. LO781 LOT Polish Airlines from Warsaw to Riga departing at 15:25 and arriving at 17:45. I would greatly appreciate it if you could assist me in obtaining copies of these boarding passes. Thank you in advance for your prompt response. Best regards, Sanja Frka Milosavljevic

My flight, LO462 from Denmark on 10/20/[redacted], was delayed by 2 hours, causing me to miss my connection to Tallinn in Warsaw. I had to spend the night with only 4 hours of sleep, missing an important meeting. The next available flight to Tallinn was at 11am. During the Denmark-Warsaw flight, the crew assured us our connecting flights would wait, which was not the case. I rushed to the gate only to find the flight had already departed. Many passengers on my flight also missed their connections. I am frustrated by the inconvenience and wonder about the costs LOT incurs in arranging hotel stays, taxis, and breakfast, not to mention losing a customer. Is this price worth the hassle of ensuring connecting flights accommodate passengers who are not at fault for delays? - Raphael Freitas
