Subject: Issue with LG Front-Load Washer WM3270CW Hello, On February 20, [redacted], my husband and I bought a new LG washer after our old one, also an LG, stopped working properly after 15 years. Despite being fans of LG products, the new washer has not been functioning correctly. There is often water left in the drum along with soap residue at the end of each wash, requiring us to hand-wring items before drying. We had a technician check it in June, and although the installation meets specs, the issue persists. After trying various solutions, including raising the washer with a pedestal, we ran a test where the drain hose emptied into a barrel, resulting in a successful load without water or soap residue. The technician acknowledged a performance problem with the machine. Considering these ongoing issues, we kindly request a replacement washer from LG that can properly drain at 84 inches height. I have had to change the fan motor in my LG refrigerator three times. Three times! The repair technician explained to me - after the third change - that this problem is because the fan motor is enclosed in a plastic box and does not get adequate cooling, resulting in it burning out. I think this issue should classify this LG appliance as a lemon. It seems impossible to fix, and I will end up replacing the fan motor repeatedly. I would be thankful for any assistance in finding a lasting solution that doesn't involve constantly replacing the fan motor. Thank you.

I received a notification that my LG V30 Plus needed an update. I followed the instructions to update it. However, since late [redacted], my phone has been unusable. I am concerned about losing my irreplaceable photos and around [redacted] to [redacted] phone numbers. I contacted my long-term carrier, Sprint, who now suggests a hard reset, which I find unacceptable. I am distressed at the thought of losing these memories and contacts. I have always used the same pin on my phones from another manufacturer. I am paying my bill but not getting the service I anticipated. Bob

Hello, I have been sharing updates on Facebook regarding my LG OLED65E6 TV issue. Despite the high cost of repair quoted at RM7400 by LG, considering the TV's short lifespan of 2 years and 3 months, I am disappointed with the lack of support. As the warranty no longer covers the repair of the dead OLED screen, the service center suggested I appeal directly to LG. However, I was informed that LG doesn't provide free repairs post-warranty. This poor reliability and customer service experience have led me to reconsider buying LG products in the future. I will schedule a live video of me breaking the TV if the matter is not resolved to my satisfaction soon. Thank you.

Our LG refrigerator, still under warranty, malfunctioned. It's located in a different town from where we reside. After three days of calls, your company directed me to service providers in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who were unable to assist. You advised me to find help myself. I managed to arrange for service on a specific day crucial for us to meet them out of town. Even though your company couldn't reach them to provide authorization, I received no assistance when they completed the job. It's disappointing that after extensive communication, your company now refuses to cover the service. Please reimburse A-1 Appliance, specifically Al, at 1-[redacted] or 1-[redacted]. In April, we purchased LG appliances - a fridge, stove, and dishwasher - from Best Buy. The dishwasher started flashing lights and malfunctioning intermittently. After contacting LG and Best Buy technicians, who noted a potential manufacturing issue, they arranged for a replacement due to the one-year LG warranty and the 30-day policy at Best Buy. Today, they are exchanging it, but there is a request for a delivery and installation fee, despite our previous installation payment. We requested Best Buy to cover the fee since it was related to the appliance issue, but they stated it falls on LG to cover under the warranty.

Four years ago, when we built our home, we carefully chose LG appliances for our kitchen with a 3-year extended warranty. The LG side-by-side refrigerator, known for its large capacity and reliability, recently stopped working just over four years after purchase. The compressor failure was diagnosed by Sears, and LG Customer Service promised to replace the part and cover the labor costs. However, the service provider, A&A Service Center LLC, unexpectedly charged us $[redacted] for labor. Despite contacting LG multiple times, a resolution has been delayed, leaving us without a working refrigerator for at least eight days. The lack of urgency and conflicting information from LG's customer service team has been frustrating, and we are disappointed in how they have handled this situation. It makes us reconsider our loyalty to LG products in the future.

My LG dishwasher's digital control board blinks on and off, stopping the washing cycle. Despite resetting it a few times, the issue continues. We had a repair appointment for today, but the repairman claimed our dog attacked him, which is untrue as my husband witnessed the repairman not even leaving his vehicle. Now, trying to reschedule has been challenging because the calls keep dropping after providing information. LG has not been responsive in rebooking the appointment.

Recently, my phone was almost full at 99% capacity. In an attempt to clear some space, I deleted temporary files and caches, which freed up 1.7 GB. However, after doing this, I encountered issues with my Outlook app. Initially, Outlook wouldn't open and then my phone froze displaying a message that System UI wasn't responding. I tried restarting and shutting down my phone, but it didn't resolve the problem. Since 10:15 am, my phone has been frozen. I'm unsure what caused this or how to fix it.

I have been dealing with a broken washing machine since June 15th. Your company sent a service technician after I called, providing case #CNN[redacted]40. I shared the purchase receipt to show it's still under warranty. I have spoken to Cresha in LG executive services and numerous customer service representatives. As of July 30, my machine remains unfixed, forcing me to use the laundromat. I am always the one reaching out for updates, feeling frustrated by the lack of proactive communication. Despite being told the outer tub is needed, no part was ordered, and it's currently unavailable with no stock. This has been a prolonged inconvenience, and I seek a resolution promptly. Your Alabama location has been handling this issue. I remain hopeful for assistance with the washing machine problem, as our past experience with LG TV's was positive.

On June 29th, a technician replaced the compressor, evaporator, and dryer in my LG refrigerator. Initially, they indicated the repair would be covered by the 10-year warranty on the compressor. However, Sloan Appliance, who conducted the repair, later informed me that LG would not cover the evaporator assembly and dryer parts. We were charged $[redacted] for the repair and now an additional $[redacted].61 for the excluded parts. Another technician mentioned that the dryer is typically replaced when the compressor fails, suggesting it should be covered too. Recently, our icemaker stopped working, and we were quoted $[redacted] for a new one. This ongoing trouble with our refrigerator is frustrating, especially considering our limited budget as retirees on Social Security. Any assistance with the dryer cost would be greatly appreciated. I recently purchased an extended warranty for my new LG washer and dryer online. After receiving an email confirmation for the dryer warranty, I noticed I was charged $85 more than the stated amount. I contacted customer service right away and was advised to call back after 24 hours. Upon calling back the next day, I was informed to wait for a week. However, when I followed up after a week, I was told there were two warranties for the washing machine but none for the dryer, despite having confirmation of the dryer warranty. I sent all my details and confirmations via email, but they were unable to resolve the issue.

I am in need of a new plasma filter for my LG Model LSU121HSV. The current filter is incomplete as the thin wire woven across the top of the plastic enclosure is broken. I dismantled it for cleaning, and now I believe it's best to get a new one instead of trying to repair it. I noticed that the replacement filters now come with "ears" extending out on each side, unlike my current model, which only has electrical contacts protruding slightly beyond the frame. I am concerned about the fit of the newer filter in my unit. Is it possible to still buy the older version of the filter for compatibility?

I recently switched my WiFi service from Comcast to AT&T. Initially, I was able to watch TV without any issues. However, last week I suddenly lost TV service. After contacting AT&T and verifying everything was fine on their end, they suggested I reach out to LG for assistance in setting up the WiFi. I attempted to troubleshoot the issue on my own but was unsuccessful. I'm wondering if LG could provide guidance on how to reset the WiFi connection. Thank you, Diane S.

On 9/26/[redacted], my LG refrigerator and freezer (Model LFXC24726S; Serial 603KRQWOC236) stopped cooling, causing the contents to warm and/or melt. Although it started cooling on 9/27/19, the issue recurred on 10/3/[redacted]. After contacting LG Lowe's warranty service, we were informed that the serviceman could only visit on 10/8/19 between 1 to 5 PM. Despite the temporary cooling, we hesitated to reload the compartments due to our previous experience. When Renaldo Dorsey rescheduled for 6:30 or 7:30 PM, we informed him that the cooling had resumed. He advised us to call for service if the problem reoccurred, mentioning a possible replacement of the entire unit. As a result, we remain cautious about storing food in the refrigerator. Your support with our 5-year Lowe's warranty on this appliance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ted (or) Joan McElroy.

I purchased an LG Venture two years ago for nearly $[redacted]. On two occasions, the screen went black, but restarting it resolved the issue. Recently, the screen went black again, with a faint red light visible. Despite attempting to reboot, the screen remained black. As a last measure, I tried to remove the battery, but the phone unexpectedly caught fire, filling my kitchen with smoke. I acted quickly, moving the burning phone outside onto the grill, which damaged the grill's enamel. LG's customer service was unhelpful. Although the warranty has expired, a phone should not combust. This has been a concern with other phone brands like Samsung. I believe LG should acknowledge this issue and either provide a refund or send a replacement phone, as I am willing to return the damaged device. I have an LG ductless heat pump with two wall-mounted heating/cooling units. They both work fine, but after replacing the batteries in the remote control for one of the units, the communication between the remote and the unit stopped. Now, all the symbols on the remote flash simultaneously. Despite reaching out to LG and others, I am unable to determine the cause of this issue or how to restore communication between the remote and the unit. Occasionally, the remote will make the unit light up, but it does not respond to commands for turning on or off, adjusting the temperature, or changing fan speed. The second remote for the other unit functions properly, indicating that I need to reprogram the problematic remote to communicate with the unit. Pressing the "reset" button only briefly stops the flashing, as it resumes once the button is released. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to inform you that I recently purchased a refrigerator from Reliance Digital in Vashi. I live in Koparkhairane, New Mumbai. However, upon delivery, the product had manufacturer damage with dents and scratches on both sides. I have been in contact with Reliance Digital, LG Customer Care, and LG Service Center for the past 12 days, but I have received very poor responses, especially from the LG Service Center. The LG Complaint Number is RNP-[redacted]75. I have attached the bill and images of the damaged refrigerator for your review. If there is no resolution, I will suspend the first EMI payment as I do not wish to use a damaged product. My first EMI is scheduled for December 5, [redacted]. I purchased a Stylo 3 from Net10 in August [redacted]. After about three months of use, the phone began flickering and jumping on the screen. I am unable to open any apps or make calls. Net10's 30-day warranty has expired, and they are unwilling to help. LG offers a 12-month warranty, so I am reaching out to LG to request a replacement LG Stylo 3 to resolve my issue. I am aware that this is a common problem with the Stylo 3, so replacing the phone is the only resolution I will accept.

I purchased my LG washer on 10/20/19 and had it installed on 10/23/19. On Saturday, 11/30 at 4 pm, a leak caused water to flood my kitchen, and the touchscreen displayed 'IE' with a blinking error. I contacted the warranty number, and after a technician failed to fix the issue via video chat, I called back on Monday, 12/2/[redacted] at 7 am. Despite speaking to three different people and being referred to automated lines, I haven't been able to resolve the problem. I am frustrated with being directed to online self-help resources instead of speaking to a human representative. I work 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and do not have time to deal with robots or fix a washer leak myself. The appliance has a one-year manufacturer's warranty and I also bought a five-year extended warranty. I find it unacceptable that LG would suggest a DIY solution for a product under warranty. I need assistance and feel let down by this experience.
