As I left the Kroger Plaza store in Memphis (*****) at **:** (according to my receipt) a woman who I recognized as a cashier was walking towards the store. The handicapped space had two carts - one large, one small, in front of it. Had I not had a full cart of groceries I would have taken them back into the store. But I had a full cart. So I called to her (she was about * feet away walking TOWARDS the store "Excuse me, Miss!" She kept walking - phone in hand. A second try: "MIss!" She looked at me and ignored me. And a third, louder request : "MISS!" She mumbled something - presumably disparaging at me, and walked into the store. I know from experience how hard it is for the handicapped & their caregivers to get in and out of vehicles. Her hands were empty. The door to the store was just a short sprint away. I do not know her name, but she is thin, small, African American with a dark hair and a particially blond pony tail. Please do not think this is a racist comment. The of my favorite Kroger employees (Elvis Wiley and David( I think his last name is Watkins) are black. But this woman purposefully ignored me - and as I said, made some sort of slur under her breath at me. As I was loading my groceries into the trunk of my car a young male employee came from the other direction of the parking lot and gathered carts. I asked him if he would take the two carts that were blocking the handicapped space, and he said he would, and did. This woman needs some training on how to treat the handicapped and be at the very least civil to your customers. dat *-**-** time **:** a.m. **** poplar plaza store. Memphis, TN. Thank you.
GetHuman-sentabl did not yet indicate what Kroger should do to make this right.
