I am frustrated with the customer service I received at Kmart when I tried to exchange Christmas gifts past the 30-day mark but within the 45-day return policy for SYW members as stated on the receipt. The employee, Leo, refused the exchange citing an old policy and inability to override the prompt. Despite seeking help from the manager, Mr. Hamilton, who was unavailable, I was left with $65 worth of items I couldn't use. The lack of care and professionalism from the staff, coupled with the contradictory return policy information, has made me lose faith in Kmart. I intend to escalate this issue to the appropriate authorities and expect a full refund promptly.

I recently experienced a frustrating situation at KMART while trying to exchange items purchased as Christmas gifts. Despite having the receipts stating a 45-day return policy, I was denied the exchange by an employee named Leo who claimed it was past 30 days. Even though I confirmed the return policy when purchasing the items, I was informed that it was an old policy and the store no longer honors it. The lack of customer service and unavailability of the manager only added to the disappointment. This experience has led me to believe that KMART is taking advantage of its customers and failing in terms of customer care. I will be contacting the relevant authorities and KMART corporate offices to address this issue promptly. A refund or suitable compensation is the least I expect after the time and effort I have spent on this matter. KMART needs to rectify this situation to maintain their credibility and customer satisfaction.

I have had one account for the past year. Even though I've been told each time I contact customer service that they only see one account under my name, the ordering system is unreliable. This is why I now prefer to shop at Walmart and Amazon instead of SYW, Sears, and Kmart. I no longer recommend these sites to others due to the constant hassles I face. I will start inviting people to use these sites again once these systems issues are resolved. It's frustrating that the system erroneously marks individuals like me as having multiple accounts when I have followed all the rules. All orders have been placed using my email and delivered to my home address, except for the ones others have attempted, which should still show as intended for me. As a family of a Purple Heart military member, I will direct people to shop at Lowe's, as they genuinely support military families.

I recently received a $5 Kmart coupon and made a special trip to use it. The coupon code is [redacted][redacted]. Upon arrival at the Kmart on [redacted] E Maryland Ave in Saint Paul, MN [redacted], I tried to redeem the coupon at the register. The employee seemed confused and had trouble scanning the coupon multiple times. Eventually, a manager intervened and accused me of already using the coupon, raising their voice at me. This happened around 3:15/3:30 PM on February 13, [redacted]. I left the store without using the coupon after being yelled at by the employees. I found this experience very upsetting and disrespectful.

I recently received a $5 off $5 Kmart in-store coupon. I attempted to use it yesterday, but the register froze. Even though it deducted the amount from my total, the cashier refused to use it because of the freeze. We tried three times before I gave up, planning to return today. Unfortunately, the coupon didn't work at all today, the expiration day. I'm frustrated because I made two trips wasting gas and time, unable to use the coupon. The customer service representative in-store was unhelpful. I would appreciate a $5 gift card credit for my inconvenience so I can use it for a future purchase. Thank you.

I am concerned about a recent visit to the Kmart located at [redacted] W Patrick St, Frederick, MD [redacted], between 8:30pm - 9:00pm. A manager named Jeanne, with badge# [redacted]8, exhibited behavior that made me question their tactics. While shopping for toys with my kids, the store's condition was subpar. As we were leaving, the top manager insisted that I purchase a toy my one-year-old had briefly put in his mouth. Despite explaining that young children explore the world this way and that I had been cautioning my child, the manager was unsympathetic and persisted. This demand felt unreasonable and coercive. Furthermore, she pushed for the purchase of another toy my other child briefly played with. The manager's monitoring, judgmental attitude, and tactics felt invasive and inappropriate. If this is how Kmart is conducting business to boost sales, it raises concerns about their customer service and ethics. The implications of being labeled a "thief" for not complying with such demands were distressing. Additionally, the manager's assertion of watching us closely for two hours adds to the discomfort of the situation. Contact information for Kmart's CEO would be appreciated for further escalation of this issue.

Yesterday, I visited your store in Bridgeview, Illinois, and purchased three cases of water for $7.00. However, I was charged $9.00 instead. When I returned today to resolve the issue, I received poor customer service from a representative who only offered a $0.99 refund. Despite using a coupon for $1.00 off, I also bought a $9.00 pair of socks. The representative claimed the coupon was only valid for groceries, but I argue that I couldn't have known since the coupon was in Spanish. As a long-time customer of over 20 years, the lack of respect and inefficiency in resolving a simple pricing error is disappointing. I appreciate the pharmacy staff but find the general attitude in the store unacceptable. I have evidence with photocopies of receipts and photos of the display showing the correct price. After this experience, I have decided to stop shopping at your store.

Hello, I would like to express my long-standing loyalty to Kmart. For almost a decade, I have appreciated buying affordable tallboy beers from the Penn Station store. Whether it was for unwinding after work, celebrating, or extending a night out, these beverages were a staple for me. Unfortunately, I discovered today that the store no longer carries tallboys. How can I continue without my beloved Bud Light Lime to end my evenings? Please don't recommend water or iced tea as alternatives. While some may suggest going to other establishments for a beer, I prefer the value I get from Kmart with my $2.50 compared to an $8 beer elsewhere. Kmart, I implore you to bring back beer sales to make every commuter happy once again. Until then, there is a void in my routine that needs to be filled.

I recently visited Kmart in New Castle, Pennsylvania, for the first time in years with my baby. Unfortunately, my baby had an accident, so I had to use the restroom to change her diaper. To my dismay, both the men's and women's bathrooms were out of order with no family restroom available. Upon opening the door to the restroom, I was confronted with two toilets overflowing with feces and urine, making it the most unsanitary bathroom I have ever encountered. It seemed evident that the lack of cleanliness was due to the negligence of the employees. I was deeply disappointed by the disregard for customer well-being displayed by allowing the bathrooms to be in such a horrific state. As a family-friendly store, I expected cleanliness to be a top priority, which unfortunately did not seem to be the case during my visit.

I ordered on 3/4/[redacted] but forgot to use my reward points. When I tried to cancel immediately to apply the points, they only cancelled 2 items and charged me $11 for shipping the rest. Being a loyal kmart customer, this treatment was disappointing. I called right after placing the order, yet they didn't cancel it entirely. I just want to cancel and reorder with my points. If they can't do that, I'll return the items and won't shop here again.

I recently purchased a 3-pack of men's big and tall Basic Editions boxer briefs, scheduled for delivery on March 8. However, UPS failed to deliver and took the package back to their warehouse without attempting to bring it to my apartment. I refuse to collect it myself as I paid for delivery. I am requesting a refund for this order. I am disappointed with Kmart's service and no longer wish to do business with them. Regards, M.M.

Subject: Kmart Refund Inquiry I am inquiring about my recent experience with Kmart customer service regarding a faulty kettle. I was promised a refund of $45 for the kettle and the shipping costs, outlined in an email. However, I have yet to receive the shipping refund and cannot afford to cover additional costs for a new kettle due to Kmart's error. I urge Kmart to honor their commitment to refund the shipping fee promptly, as delaying this only inconveniences me further. It is disappointing that Kmart has failed to resolve this issue promptly, as it has been over 10 days since the promise of a refund was made. I expect Kmart to adhere to consumer guarantees and provide me with the refund as promised, along with a replacement kettle. I kindly request that Kmart rectify this situation promptly, as it has been a frustrating and inconvenient experience. I look forward to your prompt action in resolving this matter. Sincerely, [redacted]

I received $10 in SYW points but had issues using them at store #[redacted]. I purchased 4 items: dog food at $17.99, tennis balls at $3.99, and 2 clearance clothing items at $7.49 and $17.99. The clearance items should have been 50% off, but one was rung up incorrectly at $17.99 instead of $9. I paid with my credit card and noticed the error on my receipt, a common issue at this store. I spoke to Customer Service and was only refunded $1, with the $10 SYW bonus deducted instead of being applied to the correct item. I'm disappointed I couldn't use my earned points for the purchase I made. This ongoing problem with overcharging at Kmart #[redacted] leaves me frustrated, and I expect a $10 credit on my card, not store credit. I've been a loyal Kmart customer for over 30 years and feel I deserve better treatment. Thank you.

Hello, on March 22, [redacted], I purchased a "Linen Look Tripod Floor Lamp" with the item number [redacted] from your Waurn Ponds Store. Despite the lengthy 2.5-hour drive back to Echuca, upon arrival, I noticed that the lampshade had suffered quite a bit of damage. Subsequent attempts at exchanging the damaged shade at other locations resulted in similar issues - all available shades were either damaged or flawed in some way. Eventually, I settled for the best one out of the options, which still required some repair due to an unglued join. It's disappointing to have to deal with these issues for what should have been a new and undamaged item. While the other components of the lamp such as the legs, wiring, and switch are satisfactory, the recurring problem with the lampshade is disheartening given the cost of the product. Regards, Shane.

I receive emails from Kmart promising rewards for shopping, but when I try to use them, I encounter issues. Recently, I received a $10 reward, but I couldn't apply it to the cat food I purchased. Initially, they claimed I had two accounts, but then they located the one with my $10 rewards. Unfortunately, they informed me that the reward couldn't be used for the cat food. This experience has been disheartening as I simply wanted to enjoy the benefits of the rewards system. It seems like I might have a smoother shopping experience at Walmart.

I had the worst experience at Kmart today. I was trying to purchase a baby walker priced at $34.99, as indicated by the shelf price and signage. When I reached the register, it scanned at $44.99. The cashier called the manager, Michael McGloklin (?), who insisted the scanned price was final, without even verifying with the shelf. Having worked at Kmart for 8 years, I know this was not the right way to handle it. Despite showing them the shelf label and matching the UPC, he claimed it must have been misplaced. Moreover, the store's restrooms were not stocked with toilet tissue or paper towels. It's disappointing to see Kmart's decline in service. This encounter was shocking and rude, and I don't plan on returning to Kmart.

I recently visited Kmart in Williamsport, PA, and had the worst experience ever. I was looking to purchase a baby walker that was marked at $34.99 on the shelf, but it rang up as $44.99 at the register. The manager, Michael McGloklin, did not bother to check and insisted the price at the register was final. This was not how I expected the situation to be handled, especially since I had worked for Kmart for 8 years. Additionally, the store's restrooms were lacking toilet tissue and paper towels during my visit. This experience left me feeling shocked and disappointed at how rude the manager was. Matching the shelf label's UPC with the product's picture on the signage clearly showed the price as $34.99. Kmart has certainly declined in quality, and I will not be returning.

I bought 2 pairs of shoes at the local KMART in Clemmons, NC [redacted] on 04/23/[redacted] for my granddaughter. I returned the next day to exchange one pair because they were too narrow for her. After waiting over 10 minutes behind a man trying to exchange 4 pairs without matching SKU numbers, the manager said I couldn't exchange without paying $10.69. The shoes were on sale for $19.99 and $1.00. The man ahead exchanged all without extra payment despite nonmatching SKUs. Is this because of my race? The cashier and the man were both black. This situation felt suspect; I hope you'll look into it.

Hello, I wanted to share my experience regarding receiving a coupon after making a purchase. It would be beneficial to have a reward card scanner at the store entrance to provide coupons before shopping, similar to C V S and Price Chopper. In my case, I only needed to spend a few dollars to save a significant amount, but I missed out due to receiving the coupon after my purchase. I had to pass on a pair of shoes I liked because I hadn't planned on spending that much. Saving money is important to many of us, especially in today's economy. Thank you.

My first order on 4-29 was a disaster. The shoes were supposed to be on sale - buy one pair, get the second for $1.00. I received the wrong sizes, colors, and even a pair with only one shoe! I contacted customer service once and they said they would monitor the return, but still no refund. Yesterday, I was informed that the paperwork for the refund would take 72 hours. Then, against my wishes, they reordered the shoes and charged my card again. Today, the shoes arrived with the wrong colors, styles, and missing 2 pairs. I don't want to keep going back and forth to UPS to make returns. My bank is currently helping me get my money back. It's frustrating to have gone through the same problem twice with no resolution.
