I purchased a microwave, model number KMHS***ESS, in July of **** from Best Buy. The microwave was installed in August when my kitchen was redone. Approximately a year later I began having problems with the microwave, specifically when the display would read, "Door or Open*Close Door." I went to the Kitchenaid website and found the following trouble shooting link. https:**producthelp.kitchenaid.com*Cooking*Microwaves*Microwave*Product*Information*Door*or*Open%*F%*FClose*Door*Appearing*in*the*Display. I followed the steps and the problem started happening less. Now the troubleshooting no longer works and my microwave is broken. I attempted to have the Kitchenaid approved repair company come to my house and fix the problem, but they informed me my warranty no longer covers it. I would like to speak to someone about having this problem fixed under warranty since it happened within a year, but I waited to call a repair person because I relied on Kitchenaid's troubleshooting solutions. Thank you.
