My Kindle Fire keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi even though all other devices in the house have a strong connection. This issue started two weeks ago. I've tried rebooting the Kindle, which temporarily fixes the problem for 3-4 hours before it happens again. I've followed the Wi-Fi connection instructions provided in the help icon but no luck. Another person also faced the same issue when they checked the connection setup. I'm worried that my Kindle might be irreparably damaged. Can anyone offer advice on how to resolve this problem?

I attempted to download the book "Lethal White" by Robert Galbraith but believe it may have gone to my Android phone instead of my tablet where I intended to have it. I cannot locate the book and would like a refund from Amazon for the purchase. The download occurred between December 18th and 22nd. Carol Hampton email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]

A few years ago, I published a book titled "Poems Tell the Story, A chronicle of War Trauma, and Abuse Through the Eyes of a Poet" with CreateSpace. Unfortunately, the wrong version of my book was made available for print and on Kindle. I have since uploaded the correct version and received confirmation that it will be rectified, but I am unsure when this change will happen. I am eager to receive a large number of the correct version to compensate for this mistake. I have previously had good experiences with CreateSpace customer service but have been unable to reach anyone at the listed number, [redacted], as it seems to be disconnected. Despite speaking to individuals in the Philippines, I have not been able to resolve this issue, and the responses I received via email were not satisfactory. I am disappointed with this situation and would appreciate a resolution and compensation. Thank you for your assistance. DR ART SCHMITT - [redacted] - [redacted].

I pre-ordered James Patterson's Women's Murder Club #20, which is completely fine. However, I accidentally placed orders for Murder Club #18 and #19, books I already purchased and paid for, and do not wish to re-order. I had a chat online, hoping to speak with a representative, but was redirected to a sales offer instead. I don't want this additional offer; I simply need credit for the two books I mistakenly ordered a few minutes ago. My email is on file, but I prefer speaking with a representative directly. This situation is frustrating and I would appreciate a resolution promptly.

I own a Kindle Paperwhite 7th Generation since new in [redacted]. I am unsure if it needs a software update. My main issue arises when I download ebooks from my computer to my eReader via USB cable. The book information doesn't show up on the eReader unless I am connected to wifi, which is not always an option since I lack wifi access at home. This means I can't view the book details before reading it. Is there any way to resolve this? I typically have about 12 ebooks on my eReader at a time, and I've never been able to access the book descriptions prior to reading them. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, M.

I recently added a new book to Kindle titled "How to Use 21st Century Technology to Win Wars Without Combat" by Andrew M. Molchan. I am looking to purchase 2 author copies to review the spacing and contents. However, I am encountering an issue where a $50 Amazon Visa Card offer keeps being added to the final price whenever I try to order the books. The author's price for one book is $5.71, and I do not want the credit card. How can I proceed with ordering 2 books without the automatic $50 charge for the Amazon Credit Card? Thank you for your assistance. - Andrew M. Molchan

Hello, I am currently seeking approval for my published book that has been approved twice by Kindle in the past. However, I have received an email regarding supposed typos that are actually picture placements between words. I find it hard to believe that on your end, these are being categorized as typos. I kindly ask you to review the book directly to see that it is correct. The specific pages in question are 37, 38, 99, [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. Please consider these as image placements and not typographical errors when granting approval. Thank you.

I am requesting an immediate stop to charging my card for Kindle Unlimited. Despite multiple calls where I was assured my card information was removed, charges continue. I am the only authorized user of this card. I am owed refunds from the past 6 months, having only received 4 so far. Today, another charge of $9.99 was deducted. Please completely erase my information from your system as previously instructed. I am frustrated with this ongoing issue and seek resolution.

Hello, I spoke with Jacob from Kindle yesterday regarding my card being used in Colorado. Can you provide the address where the transaction took place? My name is MaryAnn Bolling. If you are unable to disclose this information, please contact my bank, Chase in Mattituck, NY at [redacted]. Yesterday, I made a payment of $[redacted].81 to Best Advisors for laptop repair. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

I need help changing the archive settings on my Kindle. I want to keep all my content on the device and not have it archived automatically. I was advised by customer service to reset my Kindle to factory settings, and it seems to have fixed the issue. I can now keep my books on the device without them being archived. Thank you for the support.

I've attempted to upload my ebook numerous times, but each time the title page appears incorrectly. Typically, the title of the book is present with "by" below it, but the rest of the page is blank. My name, as the author, along with the dedication and copyright info, are only found on the following page. I've encountered this issue consistently, regardless of using Kindle Create or uploading directly from my computer. The problem is isolated to the title page only, and the rest of the book is unaffected. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this recurring problem. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be KDP phone support available in the UK, and it's frustrating that there's no way to connect with U.S. helplines. Bernard S.

A few weeks ago, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $10.66 on my bank statement for Kindle Unlimited. I contacted Amazon for assistance, but the representative was unable to process the refund as she was not from the Kindle Unlimited department. Despite her efforts to reach out to KU headquarters on my behalf, she was unsuccessful. I then tried to email another supposed Kindle Unlimited staff member, but was told I used the wrong email address. I re-sent the email from my primary account, but did not receive a response. To my dismay, I recently discovered another $10.66 charge on 3/29 for KU, which I did not authorize nor utilize. I urgently need a refund for both charges on 3/19 and 3/29, but my attempts to reach Amazon customer service have been unsuccessful.

I encountered a problem on my Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet where my Kindle app changed my font and asked for my email and password. To reset my password, I received a code from Kindle via email, but I kept getting prompted for more information. Upon checking, I found out the email was from the UK, but my Kindle was bought in New York, causing access issues. I suspect a possible hacking incident. I have many unread books worth over $[redacted] on my account, and due to the current situation with COVID-19, I can’t get immediate help over the phone or in stores. Can anyone assist with this issue?

Ahora, no estoy seguro si debo completar algún formulario o restablecer mi cuenta. Agradecería su orientación al respecto.

I received a Kindle book as a birthday gift from my brother, Roger C. Wolf, on 4/29/20. I downloaded the book around 5/10/20 and noticed a charge of $11.73 on my VISA bill. I believe I mistakenly downloaded the book using my own account instead of using the email link provided for the gift. I am hoping to have the charge removed, receive a credit, or ensure that my brother is not also charged for the same book. The VISA bill lists a reference number: DJ3L14003. I have my own Kindle account, as does my brother. Feel free to reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, Peter H. Wolf.

I’m having trouble downloading my Amazon Prime sample books. Whenever I try to download them, they only show the sample pages. This has been an ongoing issue for a few months now, and the problem seems to be intermittent. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps without success. I need offline access for an upcoming driving trip. I have already rebooted my device, but the issue persists. I also tried to chat with an expert, but the chat froze. The Kindle phone number indicated in blue is an amazon.com number, but unfortunately, they are not currently answering. It's frustrating not getting this resolved.

I encountered an issue with a stuck transaction on Amazon, which led to difficulty accessing my account due to multiple login attempts. Despite going through the 2-step verification process repeatedly, I still faced intermittent access problems. Creating a new account didn't solve the issue as it wasn't linked to my KDP account. After updating my email and password, the problem persisted with the 2-step verification. I suspect the issue originated from a transaction interruption, possibly related to John Bolton's new book page not loading correctly. The continuous loading circle prevented me from accessing the necessary page. Seeking guidance on resolving this situation to restore normal account functionality and prevent further inconvenience. Appreciate any assistance to address this ongoing challenge.

I own a Paperwhite Kindle, and although I registered it with my account and password, it's telling me I'm registered in a different country, preventing me from buying books. Even though I was charged in US dollars, I actually live in Canada and registered my Kindle from my home there. Initially, I could purchase books without an issue. I'm not very tech-savvy and need help. When I visit Amazon, it recognizes my registration but says it needs to send me a code, and I'm unsure how to deal with split screens. My account is set up on my Kindle reader device.

I have published a paperback on Amazon using someone else's account. Initially, I allowed him to handle the book as the managing "partner" since he had previous experience with publishing. Now that we are parting ways, I, as the sole author, want to transfer the paperback version to my own Amazon account. I have already created an account which now holds the e-version of the book. How can I achieve this transfer smoothly? Do I need to have my former partner delete the book from his account first and then re-upload it as a new process, or is there a way to transfer the book as it is to my account without losing the existing formatting? I appreciate any guidance on this matter as it doesn't seem to align with the typical Q&A topics available.

I encountered an issue with Kindle Direct Publishing. After updating my book "The New Medical Control of Biological Aging and Disease" with information from FDA and MedPub endorsed by NIH, it was removed from sale due to COVID-19 information guidelines. While the e-book is back, the paperback remains offline pending review. I've invested in a non-profit, Oneheart Publishing, with pending IRS status. The book focuses on COVID-19 treatments and trials with stem cells. I'm also pursuing Google Ad Grants. Concerned about potential interference, I seek assurance that my book won't be blocked. With only factual quotes from FDA and NIH, I aim to share vital insights. The delay is adding stress, as urgent information could save lives. I implore Kindle to resolve this quickly. Thank you for your support. - Patti Harter, Director of Oneheart Publishing. [redacted]
