Is this how Kenmore treats it’s customers? How horrid. And at a time when everyone is struggling to survive. *I have a Kenmore gas oven whose ignition went bad. A very nice "Kenmore" repair person who was assigned to me via the Kenmore repair site, arrived on time and identified my problem as a faulty ignition. This was changed in less than an hour. The cost was over $***. The part cost $**. The labor cost $***.**. In fairness I was given a choice: (*) reduce my cost to $*** something if I pay a $** a month fee for a warranty on "all the equipment in my kitchen (not worth it as I already replaced my kitchen appliance in prep for sale and they all had new warranties) or (*) pay the $*** service fee alone and buy a new oven (a comparable oven would cost well over $****), or go with the choice I made. I don't know anyone whose labor cost are over $*** an hour. SHAME on Kenmore!! I've always liked their products, but I will never buy another Kenmore appliance again and I advise everyone to stay away from them. Their billing practices are outrageous!
