Despite my best efforts, I am struggling with mold buildup around the seal of my washer despite following proper cleaning procedures. This is a serious concern as my child has severe asthma. I have attempted various cleaning methods using a wide array of products available to me as an employee at S.C. Johnson, but the mold persists, posing a health risk.

About 5 years ago, the original handle on our range started falling off. Despite multiple attempts to fix it, the screw holes got stripped. In a temporary solution, my husband swapped it with the handle from the drawer below, but now that handle is also unusable due to stripped holes. We are now facing the issue of having to clamp the door shut, rendering the oven unusable. After researching online, it seems like this is a common problem. We urgently request you to provide us with the necessary fix for this design flaw, especially with Thanksgiving just 3 days away.

Good evening, I am from Chile and own a Kenmore Stack Laundry Center with model number [redacted]2 that is experiencing an issue. The washing machine is not spinning and the technician informed me that the transmission failure was due to a broken torsional spring. Unfortunately, the spare part needed is not available. My appliance is approximately 8 years old, and I have previously purchased spare parts in Rockville, Maryland. Although my model is no longer listed, I believe you can still assist me. I have an address in Derwood, Maryland, and can ask my sister to help me obtain the part. Could you please provide assistance with this matter?

Since June 7th, our Kenmore refrigerator has been non-functional. The initial repair technician, who arrived on the 12th, discovered no parts were readily available for the repair as they had not been ordered. Once the parts were procured and fittingly installed by a subsequent technician on the 20th, the fridge failed to cool as anticipated. Subsequent repair appointment availability on the 28th will result in three weeks sans refrigeration. Emerging from a hospital stay on the 6th post-surgery, the necessity for ice and nutritious refrigerated meals remains unmet due to the malfunctioning appliance. Despite having paid $[redacted].45 for a comprehensive service policy, the level of service is unsatisfactory. Interaction with customer service representatives in the Philippines has been polite yet unhelpful. Seeking improved resolution and accountability in this matter. Sincerely, Mrs. A.

On June 8th, a damaged fridge was delivered due to an unstable load in the delivery truck and was refused. Another delivery on June 15th did not reverse the door as requested because of improperly drilled hinge holes. A rescheduled delivery on June 22nd was postponed by Sears for a week without explanation. The replacement fridge delivered on June 29th also did not have the door reversed, leading to a cold temperature issue. A technician on July 3rd was late and could not repair the fridge due to a manufacturing flaw causing oil leakage. Despite numerous calls, delayed responses, and unfulfilled promises, no satisfactory resolution was offered. The frustration of dealing with this ongoing issue during the hottest month without a working fridge and ice has been exhausting. Details of the frustrating interactions, lack of empathy, and inadequate compensation are available if needed.

Our 2-year-old Kenmore Bottom Mount Refrigerator, Model [redacted]/[redacted], has suddenly stopped working. The touchpad for adjusting the temperature is unresponsive. After contacting repair services, we were informed that the earliest available appointment is not until August 10th, which is a frustrating 15 days away. The inconvenience of not having a refrigerator for that long with perishable items in both the fridge and freezer is troubling. Is this level of delay in service common due to high repair demands? The situation has left us feeling disappointed with the customer service. Despite having been loyal Kenmore customers, if a new refrigerator is needed, we might consider alternatives. Urgently seeking assistance before August 10th to address this issue is crucial.

We bought a Kenmore dishwasher in [redacted] for over a thousand dollars. Since [redacted], we've needed servicing five times, mainly due to drainage issues. We've replaced the control board twice, and even though a recent visit didn't find a problem, the dishwasher still doesn't drain properly. Water collects at the bottom, causing dirty water to splash onto the dishes. The dishes also don't dry well, and sometimes the dishwasher won't turn on without being unplugged and plugged back in. After contacting customer service, I was informed a technician visit would cost $99, but we've had multiple unsuccessful visits. We're looking for alternative solutions for this persistent problem with our dishwasher.

Subject: Dissatisfaction with Sears Stove Purchase I am contacting you regarding my recent purchase of a stove from Sears on July 25, [redacted]. Within 90 days, I noticed peeling on one of the stove top burners. I visited the store on October 23, [redacted], and spoke with Salesman Bob, who assisted me in setting up a service appointment after viewing pictures of the faulty burner. After speaking with Shannon from customer service and providing photos of the issue, I was informed that the defect was not covered by the warranty but was offered a 20% discount on repair costs. However, I believe this should be addressed under warranty as the problem was not noticeable within the 3-day reporting period. I paid nearly $[redacted] for this purchase and am dissatisfied with the resolution offered. I have included my purchase invoice and photos for reference. I am also considering disputing the charge with my credit card company as I feel the customer service response was inadequate. I request a replacement or repair for the stove top. Thank you, S. Thurman

Hello everyone, I recently bought a new house with all new appliances. The Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher seems to be installed correctly but is not washing dishes properly. Even though the water pumps, drains, and heats up, the dishwasher remains silent apart from a few clicks, drain cycles, and refills. The home builder is pointing fingers at my hired home inspector, while the inspector is recommending getting a trained technician to look at it. I just want to avoid the hassle of the blame game. If anyone has any suggestions or tips, please share. Here are a few observations: - The arms don't seem to spray water. - The arms spin freely when turned by hand. - The dishwasher is new and the filter/grinder is not clogged. - All functions are working fine except whatever is responsible for water circulation and spinning the arms.

I purchased a Kenmore Gas Grill at a store closing sale in Cincinnati, OH on October 11, [redacted], but it came without a regulator or hose since it was a floor model and lacked a box or manual. Despite reaching out to Sears for assistance, it has been nearly two months and the parts are still on backorder. Frustrated with the situation after speaking to numerous individuals, I decided to reorder the parts online. Now, I am paying extra for something that should have been included initially. Despite being a customer for 53 years, this experience has left me dissatisfied.

We have a Kenmore Elite fridge (model number [redacted]2), and we are frustrated as this is the second time in 6 weeks we have experienced a loud fan noise, leading to us having to empty and defrost the fridge with items in the freezer thawing. Dealing with customer support has been inconvenient, usually requiring at least 2 appointments to fix due to parts needing to be ordered or an expensive single visit just to identify the issue. We feel stuck with a subpar product and are seeking urgent assistance to resolve these recurring problems. We have been using the fridge/freezer the same way for years with no issues until recently. We want a solution that doesn't involve costly service calls and ensures that our appliance works reliably. Despite no error codes being displayed, we simply want our fridge to function properly. We appreciate any help you can provide in this matter.

I have been a fan of Kenmore since my time at Circuit City in the early 90s. When my wife and I decided to buy a new washer and dryer in September [redacted], we naturally chose Kenmore Elite from Sears, spending $[redacted] total including an extended warranty I requested but wasn't added to my purchase. Now, just 3 months after the manufacturer's warranty expired, my $[redacted] gas dryer isn't heating up. Sears is charging me $99 plus parts for a service call because they say I don't have the extended warranty on record. I have a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator purchased just 15 months ago, and my dryer hasn't been working correctly since before the original 12-month warranty ended. I'm hoping Kenmore can repair my dryer or reimburse me for the Sears service. Please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you. - Travis M. My spouse and I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator from Sears in July. In November, the ice maker malfunctioned. A technician replaced it, but it still didn't work. Another technician visited and is now ordering new control panels and tubing for the back to attempt a repair. I am frustrated about having to wait weeks for this, as I do not want further repairs. I believe a new fridge shouldn't require this many fixes. I spent over an hour on the phone with Kenmore requesting a replacement due to what appears to be a defect. Kenmore stated this is not an option and suggested a refund or receiving the fixed fridge back. I am dissatisfied with the continual parts replacements and service calls. I expect better customer service and adherence to the 1-year replacement warranty for a clearly defective unit. Kindly assist in this matter promptly and efficiently without additional inconvenience or delay. Best regards, M&J DeMercede Account: [redacted]

I purchased a Kenmore top mount fridge on Dec 14, [redacted], but by the 15th, it was not cooling properly. After multiple calls and a technician visit, the issue still persists. The refrigerator is running but not cooling at all, causing food spoilage twice now. The customer service is making me wait for a long time for a technician and is not offering any compensation for the food I've lost. They are even suggesting I return the fridge at my own expense. The lack of assistance and the inconvenience have been frustrating. I am considering legal action if the situation is not resolved promptly. This whole experience has been extremely disappointing.

On January 23, [redacted], our Kenmore Elite Dryer stopped heating just over a year old. Dealing with the customer service call center in the Philippines proved challenging. Despite speaking with Eric, Dan, JD, Anna, and Kaye, the service provided was unhelpful, with Dan and JD rudely hanging up. The frustrating aspect was the call center's inability to assist beyond scheduling service for an area without a nearby service center. Contacting numerous numbers all redirected to the Philippines made communication difficult. Even LG was unable to intervene, and the provided headquarters address in IL lacked a working phone number. The overall experience left us with a malfunctioning dryer, seeking direct assistance from Kenmore rather than the call center for a prompt resolution. Spending $[redacted] on a washer and dryer set, the expectation is for them to last for many years, heightening our disappointment in the current situation.

I have a Sears slide-in oven model [redacted] with a recurring issue in the thermostat part [redacted][redacted]. The last repairman mentioned an assembly error causing the part to burn out. I was advised not to keep the oven door open for too long. Yesterday was the first time using the self-clean option, and within 20 minutes, the oven shut off completely and the door locked. I need Sears to replace the part at no cost for appointment, labor, or the part itself promptly. I am unable to use the self-clean feature anymore. In the long term, I suggest either replacing the oven or relocating the part correctly. I have faced difficulties with Sears customer service, with calls being disconnected without resolution. Your assistance in swiftly resolving this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Sandra W.

On February 14th, I submitted a complaint about my Kenmore oven, model [redacted]. The part thermostat [redacted][redacted] has an assembly error, causing the oven to burn out and lock the door when it gets too hot, which has happened four times. After trying to use the self-cleaning option for the first time, the oven completely blacked out and is now unusable. I urgently need the part replaced without any service or appointment charges. I paid extra for the self-cleaning feature and cannot use it now. I am disappointed by the lack of response from your end after two weeks; I expected a quicker resolution. Please contact me to help with this issue. Thank you. - Sandra Werntz

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator from Sears in St. Clairsville, OH around November 20, [redacted]. On May 19, [redacted], the unit stopped working. Despite multiple repair attempts, the fridge continued to malfunction. The most recent service appointment scheduled for June 21 was canceled due to overbooking. This situation is unacceptable after waiting 32 days for service. Facing issues during summer makes it challenging to store food properly. The customer service experience has been frustrating, with long wait times and disrespectful attitudes. As a loyal Kenmore customer, I expect better treatment. Can you expedite the repair or provide a replacement considering the inconvenience and time wasted? I hope for a resolution before my upcoming 66th birthday in July.

I own a Kenmore washer that is just over a year old, with the manufacturer warranty expiring on August 1. Today, I discovered that the transmission is leaking oil, requiring a $[redacted] repair similar to the initial cost of the appliance. In contrast, my parents have only purchased two washers in 34 years, highlighting the disappointment with my washer breaking down so soon. When attempting to contact your customer service by phone, I encountered a representative who rudely responded to my concerns. I believe I was sold a defective product and I am hopeful that you can uphold the quality of your brand by providing a replacement. Thank you.

Hello. I received a Kenmore stand mixer (5 Quarts) as a gift from a friend about 5 months ago, purchased from the Sears store at North County Fair, [redacted] E Via Rancho Pkwy, Escondido, CA [redacted]. Unfortunately, the mixer has started making a loud noise, almost like a scream, when running at high speed. I am dissatisfied with this issue and attempted to return it to the store for a possible exchange or store credit, but was informed that the return period had expired. The store advised me to reach out to Kenmore for assistance. Despite contacting Kenmore multiple times, I have yet to find a resolution or anyone willing to take responsibility for the faulty product. As I am not happy with the stand mixer's performance and the lack of support, I am seeking options to return or replace it.
