We arrived at the store at **:** pm, they weren't supposed to close until **pm but all the outside lights were off giving the impression that the store was closed. We went through the drive thru and the employee was distracted and brusk and pretended to be unaware of the light issue. The employee that gave us our food at the window was not in uniform and complained about being called in last minute. I believe she may have been the manager. We ordered the $** chicken share and * biscuits (although we were not charged for the biscuits). The chicken we received was very obviously old, it was dried out and sticking together and the grease had started to congeal. The biscuits were stale and crumbled when picked up. Both the chicken and the biscuits were barely more than room temp. I had the distinct impression that the employees were trying to close early, which is why we weren't given fresh food. I would like to have my money refunded because the food was inedible.
GetHuman-kattwoo did not yet indicate what KFC should do to make this right.

I completed their customer satisfaction survey and was contacted by management. I discussed the issue with them and they offered to refund my money and replace the food plus a cake as an apology. When I went in to collect, I was going to use my refund to buy sides to go with my $** chicken share and the manager on duty offered to bump it up to an * pc meal instead of a $** refund and a *pc. I am so impressed with the way they really went above and beyond to rectify this issue.
