just get the issue fixed ... bought engine for **** combine after first engine failed prematurely with **** hours, rep said should have ran * to * thousand hours. Not under warranty so john deere refused any help. bought new rebuilt engine ( $**,***.**) with *year warranty. It uses a half of gallon of oil a day. John deere say that is in their specs. they should have told me that when they sold me a new engine . I don't think that that much oil consumption a day is what they want to sell to people .
john deere products no where as good as they used to be and the people that work there (above local people) treat you as just a number
