Our approx. * year old Gator has ** hours on it, and it has never operated properly. Before you say that we don't know how it's supposed to work, let me tell you that we have ** green tractors, balers, loaders, combines, etc. on the farm. The Gator has been into our local JD service center and has come back with the same issue every time. Most recently, we were told that we "don't drive it enough to keep the clutches polished". At least they didn't charge us for it again. This unit was brand-new when we received it, and under warranty, but we were charged ****.** the last time it went in. It finally came back from the shop this past week and I tried to operate it, but it wouldn't let me shift it into reverse without shutting it off, engaging the emergency brake and then with some difficulty shifting it before restarting the engine. The unit has been jerky at low speeds and hard to shift since we received it. Please find a repair shop that can fix it once and for all* not the local dealer who promises it in a week, keeps it a month and doesn't fix it. If that's not possible, please have a rep call me at ***-***-**** to explain why the issue can't be resolved. The unit should have been painted lemon yellow.
