I am a new customer to Jio and my Vodafone sim which I used for past ** years is ported to Jio very recently. I am working in Saudi Arabia so that I need to use my Indian number here for some special purposes like getting OTP for banking purpose , for using WhatsApp and other social medias, even Apple id also linked with my Indian Jio number. for the past two years I was used my Vodafone sim here very smoothly as my second sim for all these purpose. Before one month I realized that Jio has the best network coverage in India among all other networks right now, So I decided to port from my Vodafone number to jio even I am using the Vodafone for a long time. And one more thing is that, I am using Apple IPhone Xs max as my handset so that there is dual sim option available there, but one is physical sim port and the second one is E-sim , new technology implemented by Apple. It’s glad to mention that Jio is the first one who implemented E-sim feature in India, before all other network providers (still only * telecom companies implemented in India and even there is not any telecom companies implemented E- sim technology GCC Countries). So without any confusion I ported my Vodafone to Jio and also set as the E-sim in my handset. Everything was perfectly alright and got the network here in Saudi Arabia after doing a recharge of IR pack of **** INR and able to use . But the Problem begins when I gave my IPhone for the service and the Apple gave me a new phone instead of my old phone as a part of their warranty and there I got stucked with my whole day to day activities as I can’t register the jio E- sim with my new phone from here with old bar code. I can’t even operate my new IPhone as the apple id and all my backups correspond to the apple id is linked with the Jio sim number. Also my WhatsApp and all other social medias, Net banking of Indian bank accounts and all other things which are linked with the same number are now facing the same issue and I don’t know how can I survive without this sim and I’m totally in trouble. I contacted with your IR helpline team and they told me that I should need to be in India to take a live photo for re-register the E-sim to a new handset as it is practically not possible for me who just came back to the Saudi Arabia from the vacation few days before. So please consider my case as a special one and the only one who can help me in this situation is you and kindly help me by providing an alternate solution for registering the E-sim from here itself in my new handset as I am unable to come there physically but I can produce any kind of documents and affidavits of mine in any of your outlets or by online if you requested. If it is not possible to register as an E-sim from here in Saudi Arabia in the new phone , then at least try to arrange the requirements to make a duplicate sim (physical sim) from there in India itself so I can send somebody else with an authorized letter to your outlet and I can manage my issues up to a certain level by activating sim there. But the only problem is with the live photo which I can’t provide you right now. Instead of that I can submit any other documents as per your companie's policy .So kindly try to solve the issues as soon as possible and I hope you can do something for me as a special case and I wish to continue with JIO services for lifelong.** **THANKS & BEST REGARDS,** **ASIF P**Contact:**JIO number : ***-************SAUDI number : ****-*********
