I have a [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi. Last Friday, after driving to work, I tried to go to lunch but my car wouldn't start. After having it towed to the garage, the mechanic told me my engine had no oil left. I'm shocked because there were no warning signs like lights or alerts. I got the oil changed just 2 months ago and haven't driven it much since. I'm upset about losing my car. I researched online and found this issue is common in Jeeps. I'm seeking advice or help. My Jeep is worth $6,[redacted], but not if it's not running. Any assistance is welcomed.

My son wanted to buy his first car, a Jeep Compass from Carmax. After finding a [redacted] Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus at another dealer for a similar price, we visited the dealership at 9am, as the website advertised the Cherokee for $15,[redacted]. During our meeting with the salesman, he confirmed the price after consulting with his manager. Unfortunately, my son was denied financing due to his lack of credit history. We planned for my husband to apply later that evening. Upon our return, both the salesman and manager claimed the price was a mistake and refused to honor it. Despite showing proof of the listed price on the website, they insisted we were mistaken. This misleading behavior felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, although they dismissed it. I have photos as evidence of the price discrepancy. Before taking further action, I hope Jeep will rectify this situation. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Laura W.

I bought my Jeep Cherokee Limited with VIN: 1C4RJFBGOEC324668 back in [redacted] when it had 28,[redacted] miles. I had hoped to keep this car for its entire lifespan. Recently, I noticed bubbling paint on the roof near the windshield. When I took it to my local Chrysler dealership in Teterboro, NJ, they said it was out of warranty and couldn't help. I'm disappointed as I expected better quality and durability from this car after just 4 years. I would like Chrysler to repair the paint on my vehicle despite the warranty expiration. I've been a loyal Chrysler customer for a long time and hope to continue with the brand for its future quality assurance.

I have been waiting for 3 months for my Jeep recalls to be addressed at a second dealership. The initial dealership I visited failed to return my calls to schedule the necessary appointments. Despite making four attempts, I received no response after waiting for two weeks. The [redacted] number listed on my recall letter indicates that the parts are in stock. It is frustrating that the dealership is neglecting to resolve this issue promptly. I feel as though I am being disregarded because there is no opportunity for them to profit from this service. This situation needs urgent attention. What if my Jeep malfunctions because of these recalls and puts my life or someone else's at risk? I demand immediate action to rectify this matter.

I own a [redacted] Jeep Cherokee and recently received a sales letter about updating my navigation map. This is my third new Jeep, and I am frustrated about the company charging an additional $[redacted].00 for the update. I have bought Garmin Nav-Aids from Costco before and received free upgrades for the life of the unit. The base price of my car (VIN 1C4-PJMDS8HW-[redacted]) was $31,[redacted]. It is disappointing that I am being asked to pay for this update now. I have always supported the Jeep brand, but this situation has made me question my loyalty for future purchases. It's disheartening!

My daughter has a [redacted] Jeep Compass with around 82,[redacted] miles on it. Recently, it has been randomly stalling, and despite several diagnostic appointments, the issue remains unresolved. This has led to high rental car costs. I'm concerned about her safety and would appreciate any advice on how to address this issue. Your help is greatly valued.

After my [redacted] Wrangler's warranty expired, it developed a leak that causes the passenger side floor to get wet when it rains. The dealership quoted me $[redacted] to repair it, offering to split the cost. I find it unfair to face such a significant repair bill on a vehicle I purchased not long ago. It seems leaks are a common issue with Jeeps, as dealerships have specialists for this. Given this known problem, I expected better support from the company. While Jeep owners are said to be loyal, I am hesitant to buy another vehicle from them in this situation.

I have a [redacted] Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and need assistance. My vehicle has been to the dealer multiple times due to a leaking roof that damaged the radio. I am frustrated by the response that Jeeps are known for leaking. As a customer, it's disheartening to hear that about a new vehicle. I own two Jeeps, a [redacted] and the [redacted] model, and can provide VIN numbers as proof. I am not seeking handouts, just reliable care for the quality checks that Jeep has profited from. Thank you for your attention. - John L.

I purchased a [redacted] Jeep Wrangler, and three months later, I noticed water in the front floorboards after it rained. The dealership attempted to fix the issue, but unfortunately, after six attempts, the problem persists. Recently, following rainfall, the driver's side floor mat has up to 2 inches of water, leaving the carpet drenched. Despite multiple visits to the shop, the problem remains unsolved. I am concerned about potential odor and rust issues in the future. I feel frustrated that the dealership has not been able to resolve the ongoing leak despite the numerous attempts. I have another appointment scheduled for December 4th to address the issue, but I am uncertain if this will finally remedy the problem.

We purchased a Jeep Limited 4x4 diesel Multijet II turbo from KVR Pvt Ltd in Calicut, Kerala, India, five months ago. With only [redacted] kilometers driven, we noticed a smoke smell from the beginning. Initially, KVR Calicut staff inspected the vehicle and claimed there was no issue. Recently, when we traveled a longer distance, the vehicle started jerking at low speeds. We reached out to SRT Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore, and they discovered that the flywheel with ring gear, flywheel engine, clutch pressure plate, and disk needed replacement. Surprisingly, they replaced these components with 1.4-liter engine parts instead of the correct 2-liter parts for our vehicle. We feel deceived and urgently request your assistance to address this matter promptly.

I reached out to my local Jeep dealership in Kennewick, WA last Saturday inquiring about cutting a key for my '92 YJ Jeep. The parts department confirmed they can cut the key if provided a blank for the '92 YJ model. After confirming this information, I spent time researching and purchasing key blanks online. Unfortunately, when my wife took the blanks to our local dealership in Hermiston, OR, they mentioned they only cut keys for models from '97 onwards. Despite reaching out to Jeep customer service and Mopar, I was unable to find a solution. I'm feeling frustrated as I was assured by the Kennewick dealership that they could assist. I'm now left with key blanks and no way to cut them as promised.

I brought my Jeep to the Jeep dealership on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida due to my engine light flashing and experiencing hesitation when merging into traffic. Despite my Jeep driving fine otherwise, I have returned four times and been given various solutions costing $[redacted]. The engine light is back on, and my car even turned off while driving in rush hour on I-95, nearly causing a serious accident. The dealership seemed indifferent to my safety concerns and after returning my car, the issues persist. They charged me $[redacted] for a new battery which did not solve the problems. I am worried about driving the car and feel like I was overcharged and ignored. Despite several attempts, I have not received any meaningful help or responses. Driving it now feels unsafe, especially after spending all my Christmas savings on attempted repairs. I desperately need assistance, as I fear returning to the dealership without additional funds.

I own a [redacted] Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude edition that recently started experiencing performance issues. After taking it to a dealer, they initially found no problems but later identified trouble codes and did some work without resolving the issues. Despite my concerns about the warranty and aftermarket headlights, particularly the JW Speaker LED lights, the dealership hasn't been able to pinpoint the problem. I suspect a wiring issue with the driver's side headlight harness, but so far, it hasn't been found. I'm frustrated with the lack of a proper fix and worry that the warranty coverage might not be honored. My main goal is to get my Jeep running smoothly again. Thank you, Everett Hutchins

Hello, I am reaching out to share my recent experience with leasing a [redacted] Jeep Compass Trailhawk. I am a devoted Jeep enthusiast, having owned various Jeep models over the years. I value the American craftsmanship that Jeep represents and took pride in my recent lease decision. However, upon revisiting the financial details of my lease, I discovered discrepancies that have left me feeling misled. Despite being informed of a lower total cost, my calculations show a significantly higher amount at the end of the lease term. This revelation has been disheartening considering the trust I placed in the dealership's assurances. As a hardworking individual balancing a demanding career and familial responsibilities, I believe in transparency and fair treatment. I had hoped for a straightforward transaction based on honesty and respect. Regrettably, the discrepancies in the financing details have tarnished my experience and raised concerns about the integrity of the process. I remain committed to the Jeep brand and the values it embodies, but I urge for clearer communication and accountability in future dealings. Trust is essential in any business relationship, and I hope that my feedback encourages a review of practices to ensure customer satisfaction and trustworthiness. Wishing you a pleasant holiday season and continued success in upholding the standards of excellence that define Jeep's legacy. Warm regards, L.O.

I am reaching out to address a significant safety concern regarding my wife's [redacted] Jeep Wrangler Sahara JK Unlimited. The factory LED headlights, while exceptional under normal conditions, pose a hazard in snowy weather since they don't emit enough heat to melt snow that accumulates on them due to their recessed design. This led to a dangerous situation when my wife struggled to see the road clearly with our kids in the back seat. I have discovered aftermarket LED headlights with a built-in heat grid that could solve this issue but am hesitant to invest more money in a new vehicle with a safety flaw that might require immediate modifications. I strongly urge Jeep to consider a recall to upgrade the headlights for safer driving conditions, especially in snowy regions. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you. -Rick P. - [redacted]

On October 15th, my new Jeep Compass experienced a severe malfunction. The engine light activated, the RPMs surged, and the entire car violently vibrated and stuttered, rendering it inoperable. Following instructions from customer service, I had the vehicle towed to Norristown Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Philadelphia, PA. Despite the Jeep being only a few weeks old, it took 12 days to rectify the issues which included resetting the transmission. I rented a car from Enterprise, incurring $[redacted].40, and paid $[redacted].00 for the tow. The dealership indicated Jeep would cover the rental expenses at a maximum of $35 per day, without specifying a duration, leaving me with a total of $[redacted].40 in unreimbursed costs. The representative named Nikkia mentioned Jeep would only compensate for three days of the rental, but no time limit was initially communicated. I am requesting full reimbursement of $[redacted].40 for the towing and rental expenses, as it's disappointing that Jeep isn't taking responsibility for the product defect.

I visited the Naples, FL location on Airport Pulling Road at 1:00 PM for a tire replacement due to a roofing nail. I explained the situation to John, emphasizing the urgency because I have a baby and this is our only vehicle. John informed me it would take an hour, but I had to wait an hour and a half with no updates. When the car was returned, they did an oil change and tire rotation, which I didn't request. The damaged tire with the nail was merely moved to the back, making the ride uncomfortable. The fact that the Jeep Compass didn't have a spare tire was surprising and inconvenient. I expressed my frustration to Ronda, who mentioned it wasn't company policy to let me leave with the damaged tire. The lack of care and concern for me and my family's safety was disappointing. I feel the staff should have provided a spare tire or rental car until Monday. This experience left me feeling disrespected and disregarded as a customer.

I am experiencing ongoing issues at Skyland Auto in Asheville, NC regarding my check engine light. After bringing in my Jeep for a repair covered by Allstate warranty, there have been numerous delays and lack of communication from the service advisor, Jean. I have struggled to get updates and accurate information about the repair status, timeline, and availability of a loaner car. Despite multiple attempts to reach out and clarify the situation, I have not received satisfactory assistance. I am frustrated with the service and would like a new advisor assigned to my case. Additionally, I am seeking reimbursement for gas expenses incurred while driving a less fuel-efficient vehicle due to the prolonged repair period. The lack of efficiency and communication has been disappointing, and I am hopeful for a resolution soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Christy C Dunn

I own a [redacted] Jeep Compass and have been experiencing issues with my 4 wheel drive light and 4WD! light turning on and off. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was hoping to discuss the problem and determine if it is covered under warranty. I prefer to know all the details, including diagnostic charges, before bringing in my car for service. Despite understanding that mechanics need to be compensated for their work, I was surprised by the $[redacted] fee mentioned over the phone for a brief 20-minute diagnosis. After contacting two other Jeep dealerships for comparison, I found a $[redacted] price difference. Clear communication and transparency about fees are essential for good customer service.

On 3/1/19, I purchased a new [redacted] Jeep Wrangler with 35 miles. Driving home, I noticed a jump in the steering. The dealership in Gaylord, Michigan didn't find any issues, but couldn't see me for two weeks. On my way to work today at 4:30am, the front end had the same issue in a no coverage zone. Customer care blamed me and suggested the dealership was at fault. Despite offering $35/day for a rental, it's insufficient in Northern Michigan with no cars available. I'm dissatisfied with Chrysler's response, feeling they don't care.
