I purchased an expensive item from James Avery in preparation for a special occasion but now wish to return it for a gold chain. The item was a mix of a warranty exchange and credit card purchase. Despite the item being new and having both receipts, I was only offered a gift card instead of a refund to my credit card, which was disappointing. I have been a loyal customer for approximately 40 years and have encountered issues with the evolving return policy and pricing inconsistencies. I hope to exchange the item for the gold chain and have the amount originally paid on my credit card refunded. In the past, such returns were accepted after managerial approval, despite being outside the 60-day policy. I am keen on resolving this matter in a way that satisfies my preferences and staying loyal to James Avery.
