I recently managed to recover my account after not being able to for [redacted]+ days due to it being hacked. Upon logging in, I realized all my progress was gone and tried to seek help on the forums but found out I needed to be a member to post, although my account used to be a member. Frustrated by the lack of assistance, I logged out. Upon logging back in a few hours later, I was immediately banned for macroing, despite barely using my account. I am confused and upset as I was eager to have my account back only to find all my hard work erased and then to be banned for something I did not do. I have been a loyal player since [redacted] and have faced recurring issues with my accounts, making me question the support provided by the platform. I am seeking an explanation for why my progress was wiped and why I was falsely accused of botting without any evidence. It is disheartening to encounter such problems without a proper channel to address them, and I hope to receive a response soon to clarify this situation.

I have not played RuneScape actively in over a year, only logging in briefly every few months to ensure my account's security. I believe my account may have been compromised, as I have not had membership since [redacted], and my recent logins were solely to safeguard my account's assets. I have been limited in my gameplay due to moving and work commitments, residing primarily in Colorado and Texas. I implore Jagex to review my account activity, which will show minimal usage over the past year or two. I have meticulously kept track of all my transactions, including matching zip codes, and I am willing to provide any necessary information to prove my innocence. Losing my account, which I have dedicated significant time and money to, would be devastating, especially considering my achievements and involvement in the community. Please reconsider the ban on my account, as I am genuinely innocent and deeply value my RuneScape experience.

I used to play Runescape in my childhood and for a short while when I was older. My last memories are of skilling woodcutting. I can't recall when I lost access, but the recovery email linked to my username isn't mine. I believe the email that created the account Ev_Angus1 may be [redacted], and the one that paid for the membership could have been either [redacted] or [redacted] I hope this message reaches Jagex and someone can help me prove ownership of my account. This ban has greatly affected me, especially since I am currently unwell with vitamin deficiencies and have had to visit the hospital. My attempts to reach out to Jagex Cambridge via letters and tweets have been unsuccessful. I kindly request you to review the documents and videos linked below, which showcase the involvement of my autistic friend in the game. I am willing to cooperate in any way to resolve this issue, including volunteering in Cambridge or paying a fine. My job as a section manager at a large supermarket could also provide opportunities for merchandise. Hello everyone! Yesterday, I reached out to explain that I lost my "Amulet of Fury" while training in NMZ. After getting killed and logged out while being AFK, I wasn't sure if it went missing due to a bug or if I was hacked, so I reported it to you as a precaution. This morning, when attempting to log in, I found that my account has been disabled for "real world trading," which confuses me as I haven't engaged in any rule-breaking behavior involving valuable items or coins. I adhere to the rules and can't comprehend why I've been banned. Could you please check if someone else accessed my account (X Dong mind X) and violated the rules? Hello, I wanted to log in and play some Runescape, but I've been banned for 48 hours by Jagex for suspected botting software use. Hello, my character's name is Noctis Arts. Recently, I received a ban appeal rejection regarding the recovery of my account. The notification mentioned that I was banned for Real World Trading (RWT), which I want to dispute because I haven't engaged in such activities. Additionally, the message claimed there was no evidence provided, but unfortunately, I couldn't submit any evidence through your website except for my account name and email address. I am the sole user of this account, and I am confident that it hasn't been compromised. Since this forum seems to be my only means of communication, I kindly request to verify my IP address and provide a detailed report of my ban appeal, as I believe I wasn't given sufficient information, and this has left me quite disheartened.

My account was compromised and subsequently banned due to unauthorized modifications. I discovered this when I couldn't log in one day, and after regaining access, I realized it had been accessed and used by someone else. I managed to recover my account, only to find it banned the next day for activities I did not engage in. Despite my attempts to appeal the ban, I was simply told that I am responsible for any actions related to my account, including the unauthorized modifications. However, it is important to note that my account was hacked without my knowledge, and I did not willingly share my credentials or allow anyone else to use my account. I find it unjust to be penalized for falling victim to a hacker's attempt to take advantage of my account, causing me to lose progress and skills unfairly.

I believe there may have been attempts to transfer Runescape accounts or trade virtual items outside the game environment. Real-world trading is harmful to the Runescape economy and violates our terms of service. Accounts are now on a watch list and will be monitored. Hello, I hope you are having a good day. I am reaching out because I was recently banned by "Macroing Major" in the game. I believe this ban was a mistake as I haven't used bots or hacks. The only "bot" I have is my little brother who plays on my account sometimes. Recently, he has been active mainly training agility and other skills like magic. I've been busy with university studies, and my brother has been helping me in the game. I value the progress I've made and enjoy playing the quests. I created an Old School RuneScape account back in May when I graduated. I played for a few days but took a break until recently when it was released on mobile. I purchased membership, started doing quests, and slowly leveled up my stats. I also played on my touchscreen ASUS laptop. While training range with red chins at Ape Atoll, I got disconnected. When trying to log back in, I found my account was disabled due to "macro" use. I suspect it was because I frequently tapped back and forth on my laptop screen to spread out the skeletons for maximum experience. Unable to access my account, my membership is going to waste. Please resolve this issue promptly.

The customer service experience has left me disappointed. My younger brother, aged ten (while I'm 24), forgot his password on RuneScape. Despite trying to reset it, we are unable to proceed as we don't have his previous password (the appeal was denied). He was upset and crying as he feared losing all his progress and belongings in the game. I understand the concerns about hacking, but this situation is due to a genuine forgetfulness. We possess his email and I can provide an approximate old password. Pushing a young child to recreate his character, resulting in tears, reflects poorly on your service. I recently returned to the game for the mobile launch and was considering becoming a member again, but I am willing to delete my account. I find this treatment unacceptable, especially the lack of a phone support option and continuous redirection to help forms. I am extremely dissatisfied with this interaction. Although it has been inactive for over 5 years, I remember some details. I used to play Rs for years but stopped due to school. I've experienced being hacked three times within a week. Despite following all security measures and changing my email and password twice, my in-game items couldn't be restored. I used to play as a kid, and now that it's on mobile and I have a membership, I've returned to playing. I don't find it fair that my membership can't be secure. It's frustrating to fill out multiple forms and wait up to 48 hours for a generic reply. I'm requesting direct contact with staff immediately, and won't accept anything less. If I don't receive a prompt and satisfactory resolution, I'll file a refund with my bank for the paid membership fees.

Runescape account issue I recently tried to log in after years of absence and had to recover my account "kipp105" by resetting the password through email. However, upon logging in, I discovered my account had been banned for macroing major. Despite my appeal, I received no response. I am reaching out in hopes that this message will be seen, and my account "kipp105" will be unbanned. Upon reviewing, you will find two bans in [redacted], one major and one moderate, which I believe I did not commit as I was not playing during that period. If you compare the IP addresses from my activity in [redacted] to [redacted] with those from [redacted], you will see a discrepancy.
