We ordered a custom door from Jeld-Wyn in September. Unfortunately, the door arrived in mid-October due to a backorder. Once installed, the door had issues opening, shutting, and locking properly. After multiple calls, a rep came on November 28 to repair it. Although it improved slightly, we then noticed loose metal pieces between the glass panes. Jeld-Wen agreed to replace the door panel but lost our order. After rescheduling two failed appointments for the door replacement, we discovered that the panel was damaged, causing further delays in our remodeling project. The ongoing door issues have halted our renovation progress, preventing us from completing essential tasks like siding installation and interior finishing. We are frustrated by the lack of resolution and the impact on our project timeline. We hope for a swift and effective solution to ensure we have a functional, high-quality door as intended.

Hello, I am Tom Walker from Wartrace, Tennessee. A year ago, I purchased Jeldwin doors worth over $12,[redacted] for my new construction project. Despite the doors being in use for six months, they no longer function properly due to defective hinges. The service representative inspected the issue three months ago, mentioning the need for hinge replacements. However, despite assurances of having the replacement hinges in stock, there has been a lack of communication since January. I fear the service rep may have left the company, leaving our installation pending. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention. I recently contacted Home Depot about your lifetime guarantee for a vinyl double pane glass window that needs replacing due to a crack. Despite my previous service request a week ago and no response, I plan to call again regarding this security issue. It was inconvenient to find a phone number on an external site rather than on your official site.
