The issue in GetHuman-monamc's own words
I spoke today to customer service representative, Rose, and her supervisor who was very unsatisfactory. The supervisor kept interrupting me.*I have two payments for one bill processed in error. Below is a summary of my complaint that I finally was able to discuss with Karen, Manager - Customer Service. I explained the following:*- Duplicate payments - Paid $**.** online on December * using my checking account with no confirmation number. This is first time with e-bill online payment system that I have not gotten a confirmation number. It is my bill payment practice to record all payment confirmation numbers. *- I checked JCP Payments online on December * and received "technical difficulties" screen. This was very alarming. *- I called customer service and the representative was very helpful. I paid $**.** (without late fees) using the debit card and was given the confirmation number ******** verbally. This debit posted to my bank account as “pending” on December *. *- On December *, my bank account revealed two payments processed by JCP credit card – posted original $**.** and the second pending $**.**. This is so frustrating! And, to me, is due to no e-Bill alerts for my e-bill. *- I understand that the process request for refund as a manual process and will take up to * days. The refund process is so unfriendly and really archaic in this e-bill online process.* The manager, Karen, listened to my overpayment saga and was very helpful.
GetHuman-monamc did not yet indicate what JCPenney Card Services should do to make this right.
