I purchased a Cooks coffee maker on Nov. *, ****. It was delivered on Nov. **, **** and I started using coffee maker on Nov **, ****.*Order * ****-****-****-*****Invoice * K***-******Purchase price $**.****I do not live close to a JC Penney store**I have not had or used this coffee maker for ** days and it has stopped working. I have tired unplugging it, and letting it unplugged for ** minutes, trying a different plug but it will not work. Since having this coffee maker less than a month and seeing on your site what can be returned and what cannot I called customer service. The coffee maker was not listed as could not be returned.**The customer service person who answered my call, put me on hold for about ** minutes. When he came back on the line he said he talked to his supervisor and was told the coffee make has been used and cannot be returned. There is no warrantee on the coffee maker to function and having it less than a month makes no difference. It cannot be returned. **This certainly is not looking out for your customers. If I had this coffee maker longer I could see the reason behind it. However using it for ** days to have it stop working sure does not say much for the Brand or your policy to stand behind what you sell.**I am very disappointed with the attitude and the how this defective coffee pot purchase has been handled by J. C. Penney. I will never shop on line at your store again and will certainly let all my friends know about your return policy which does not exist. I want is to return this defective coffee pot and have my credit card issued a refund.*Shirley McKay
