I was shopping online today using my phone app, after signing in, and had almost $*** worth of merchandise in my cart. I noticed that the sale price in the ad was consistently lower than what was listed in my order, e.g., for a sale price shown as $*.**, it listed the price in the cart as $*.**. I assumed that at checkout, it would list directions for a password for the coupon, and a place to claim **% off for using my credit card, a summary of arrival time etc. So when I went to the cart and pressed checkout, it suddenly announced that my order had been finalized and that I would receive a confirmation online. *WHAT????? Nowhere did I see a summary of discounts, shipping info, method of payment. When I dialed the customer service number *-***-***-**** I got numerous repeated ads for an " I've fallen and can't get up" type freebie" ( with a $*** mo charge for monitoring) which was repeated at least * times before moving on to another promotion with no instructions to speak to an agent as an alternative. After at least * different product spiels, the recirded message finally said that the number I was trying to reach had been changed to *-***-***-****. I am handicapped with a torn ligament in my knee and wear a huge leg brace and use a walker and did not have a pen in hand. So, by the time I got a oen, I had been disconnected and had to call and sit through another mind-numbing force-fed ad campaign to get the number & write it down. When I called the new number I waited through * minutes of phone ringing with no answer. Then my phone died with a run down battery. When I called back again, same thing-- no one answered. I am furious at this ridiculous waste of my time and extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I tried looking up other phone numbers but either they were closed for the day or the phone just rang & rang. I will never use this app again and would like to know what happened here with the disparity in prices advertized and price listed on my order in the cart. I am very disgusted. I have tried to order online several times, but due to similar glitches like these I always give up andhave to call in my order. Today I couldnt even do that. Im
