I would like to recover my account, but I am having issues as I believe my email address and phone number are not linked to my account directly. Originally, I associated them through Facebook, but now I am unable to reconnect via Facebook. When attempting to reset my password, the recovery link is being sent to a different phone number stating the user or account does not exist. I have been trying to reach out for two weeks after receiving an email from Instagram requesting a photo of myself with a code ([redacted]) and my name. She sold me a do-it-yourself credit repair manual, which turned out to be a free template she downloaded from Google. When I demanded my money back, she responded rudely and refused.
