A few weeks ago, I deactivated my Instagram account. In the meantime, I changed my phone number. However, I had two-step authentication enabled, and now I can't log in because I don't have access to my old number or the backup codes they provided. I tried reaching out to Instagram support multiple times. Initially, they said my account was locked. After another attempt, I received an email to confirm my identity. I provided all the required information, but I haven't heard back yet. I tried contacting Instagram support again, but haven't had any success so far. I hope this email helps resolve the issue.

My account is having trouble loading anything. My friends can't see any pictures I'm tagged in or any content on my account. However, my username and profile picture are still visible. I know my account isn't deleted because I tried creating a new one with the same username, and it says "this username is taken." When attempting to log in on a different device, it shows an error message saying "Error: sorry there was a problem with your request." While I don't have an email linked to my Instagram, I do have my phone number connected. I suspect my account was reported, though I haven't violated any guidelines as all my posts are appropriate. It has been three days since I've been unable to access my account. I am still logged in on my phone, but when I open the Instagram app, it prompts me to confirm my account, yet the confirmation code isn't coming through to my phone number.

Dear GetHuman Team, I am having trouble logging into my Instagram account, 'teufelseinvater.' On 09/17 at around 3 p.m., I was using the account normally when I suddenly got logged out and could not access it anymore. When I try to log in, it says my account has been temporarily blocked due to suspicion of attempting to log in on a page pretending to be Instagram, suggesting my account may have been compromised. When I click 'Continue,' it asks me to confirm that it is my account, but it provides an old phone number and email that I haven't used in ages. I have since replaced them with my current phone number: [redacted]73 and email: [redacted] Also, this account is linked to my Facebook account 'Nikolaos Pozatsidis,' where I have updated the correct phone number and email address. On 09/17, I uploaded a photo of a tattoo with a butterfly and a key (around 3 p.m.), and before that, I posted two pictures of myself in a black short-sleeve shirt. I mainly use my iPhone Xs for logging in and also occasionally use my iPad Pro 3. I even asked my girlfriend in Horn-Bad-Meinberg, who tried to log in from her laptop (I think it runs on Windows) to see if the issue was with my iPhone, but it was unsuccessful. I need to regain access to my account to continue my work as I am in the process of starting my own business and would be lost without this account. I work in various cities and sometimes do guest spots at 'florianhirnhack' (the name on Instagram of the studio's owner). Hello Instagram, my account (Marti09.06) was recently hacked, so I assigned a new email address and password to the account (the same email I am using to contact you). Everything worked fine until I got the identification confirmation, which stated that a code would be sent to my "old" phone number. The issue is that I have had a new phone number for almost a year and forgot to update it on Instagram back then. Now I can't access my Instagram profile because I can't receive the code. Hi there, I'm Dee, the owner of the Instagram business account @mermaidunicornwitch. Today, I encountered an issue when trying to log in to my account to upload new posts. Although my password is usually saved on my phone, I attempted to use it as usual. However, I found myself logged out and unable to recall my password. After clicking on the "forgot password" option to change it, I tried all available methods - entering my phone number, email, and username. Unfortunately, the link generated to reset my password appeared inactive for both my email and phone number. While using the Instagram app on my iPhone, I received an alert about suspicious activity on my account. At first, my account was working normally on the Instagram application. After some time, I noticed that nothing was refreshing or updating. I assumed it was a bug or traffic issue. Eventually, I got logged out on my iPhone and was prompted to confirm my phone number to log back in. Hello, I am seeking assistance with my account issue. On 30.09.[redacted], I was logged out and upon attempting to log in, I may have entered the wrong password, potentially due to being continuously logged in before. I received a message stating my information was being reviewed, with the possibility of account access being restored within approximately 24 hours. I did not understand which information was needed as I had only input my password incorrectly on the first attempt. Today, when trying to log in, a notification indicated my account had been disabled for terms violation, which I believe is a mistake as I have not engaged in any violations. Despite being advised to download my data, I am unable to log in through any browser. Hello Instagram Support, I believe that my Instagram account was either hacked or mistakenly deleted. On September 30th, around 6:20pm, I exited the app and returned 10 minutes later to discover that I had been logged out due to unusual activity. I followed the verification steps by confirming that I'm not a robot, completing the human verification with the pictures, and entering a code sent to my phone. After verifying, I logged out as instructed. However, when I tried to log back in later, I received an error message stating that my username doesn't exist. I want to clarify that I have not violated any guidelines and did not delete my account. I suspect my account was compromised through my email without my knowledge. I've dedicated significant time to building my Instagram presence, and I value the connections, pictures, and stories shared there. Hi, I am experiencing recurring issues with being locked out of my Instagram account for extended periods, typically 6-7 days. The notifications claim that I am using third-party apps to boost followers and likes, which is entirely false. Despite sending numerous support requests, I have not received any responses and am consistently left waiting until my ban is lifted, as is the case today with a ban until Oct. 8th. This situation is frustrating as my Instagram account, created in May to document my keto diet journey and seek support from the keto community, is essential to me managing my depression and anxiety. A few days ago, I lost access to my Instagram account due to two-factor authentication. I successfully verified myself via text message, but also needed to authenticate through email. Instagram only provided the first and last letter of my email, leaving me unable to determine which email it is. I reached out to Instagram, sent a photo with a code for verification, and changed my password but still can't access my account without email authentication. I've been locked out of my Instagram account multiple times, had to change my password repeatedly, and have been unable to access it since it got disabled, supposedly for 24 hours. Despite the time passing, I still can't log in. I've extensively checked Instagram's FAQ page, attempted to contact them via email and phone (unsuccessfully), and even tried to request support for a forgotten password. However, I faced a technical hurdle as my phone keyboard wouldn't retreat, preventing me from clicking the necessary buttons. Furthermore, the reset password links sent to my phone and email are futile due to my disabled account. I've been struggling for hours to regain access, but to no avail. The only remaining option seems to be the request support survey, but the keyboard issue persists, hindering me from submitting it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Late on Wednesday, I opened the app and received a notification about suspicious activity on my account, prompting me to verify it through a code sent via SMS to my mobile device. After doing so, Instagram mentioned reaching out within 24 hours or allowing me to log in, but I never heard back. Upon contacting support, they indicated that Instagram had disabled my account. It was a small account focusing on makeup art with [redacted] followers. I've not violated any rules. Despite trying to appeal, I can't access my account via email or mobile number. Subscribers still see my profile picture, but all content is gone, replaced with a message stating the profile is not found. I'm seeking assistance.

Hello, I need help with my Instagram account. I have been trying to reach out to Facebook through email, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response. I received an email requesting verification of my Instagram account, followed the instructions, and changed my password as advised. Subsequently, Instagram deactivated my account for security purposes. Upon logging in, an assurance was given that my details would be reviewed and if confirmed, access would be restored within about 24 hours. It's been two days since this occurred. My account is linked to my mobile number and email, providing proof of ownership.

Hello, I urgently need to report a problem! About an hour ago, I was using my personal Instagram page @brendenkane on my iPhone 11. Both of my accounts, including this one (@liveforclass) and @brendenkane, were logged in on the same phone. While I was unfollowing people on my personal profile, I might have been doing it too quickly. This was a mistake on my part, and I apologize for it. During this process, I received a message from Instagram saying, "Your account has been compromised." When I switched to this page (@liveforclass), I also received the same message when trying to like a photo. I have never shared or logged into this page on any other app or service.
