Losing my account is significant to me as I utilize it for business purposes and to stay connected with individuals in my field. I am currently a professional basketball player with Pallacanestro Cantù in the Italian LBA league, and Instagram is crucial for my fan base and engagement. The incident occurred early Friday morning (Italy time) after I received a notification that my account was verified. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a DM scam claiming copyright infringement, leading to the deactivation of my account. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to recover it. I acknowledge my mistake but seek assistance in restoring my account, as I can provide necessary verification details using this email linked to my account. I created my Instagram account in October [redacted]. In January [redacted], when I tried to log in, it prompted me for a security code. Unfortunately, the phone number linked to my account was no longer active, so despite multiple attempts, I couldn't access my account. Eventually, I ended up creating a new Instagram account. Now, I wish to recover my old account, but I have forgotten the password and no longer have access to the phone number associated with it. After a hiatus from Instagram, I faced issues logging back in due to a new phone and number. Despite having my username and password, I couldn't access the confirmation code on my old phone number as I couldn't reach the current holder. Instagram requested a photo of myself with a specific code, which I sent twice, receiving no follow-up. I've sent daily help requests to Instagram but have yet to receive any useful assistance or response.

Hello, my name is Sonny Holliday, a music artist formerly known as Sonny D. I recently switched carrier services to Verizon and received a new phone number. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to my previous number, ([redacted])-[redacted], which was associated with my Instagram account. I am unable to receive verification codes as they are being sent to the old number. I never set up any recovery codes or linked my account to authenticator apps. I need to update the phone number linked to my Instagram account to regain access. The email associated with my account is [redacted], and the old phone number is ([redacted])-[redacted]. I am reaching out because my Instagram account under the username kool_udit was followed by an account named divisha907 two days ago. This fraudulent account followed all my followers and mutual friends. After following me, the account initiated a video call where a girl appeared nude and displayed inappropriate content. She then proceeded to record the video call without my consent. Following the call, she attempted to blackmail me by threatening to share the video with my followers unless I paid her. This extortion has caused distress as she threatened to harm my social image. I have blocked the account and reported it to Instagram. I urge Instagram to investigate this issue promptly, take necessary action against the account "divisha907," and remove any harmful content sent to my followers. Your swift intervention in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention.

I've been using Instagram for years, and suddenly, I stopped receiving notifications. I've tried all the solutions suggested without success. This issue is affecting my beauty business account, and it's becoming very frustrating. I even got a new phone (iPhone 11 Pro) on the 18th of August [redacted], but the problem persists. My Instagram account was hacked. Someone is harassing my family, especially my kids, not only on Instagram but also by calling them. After reporting the issue to Instagram, they told me they couldn't find any violations of their Community Guidelines. However, their guidelines clearly state that impersonation and misleading others are not allowed. It's evident that this person is not following the rules by contacting my family in my name. They even called my daughter, causing her distress. Friends and family have also experienced similar harassment. The guidelines stress the importance of only sharing photos you have the right to post. It's unsettling to see someone using my pictures to deceive others. It's crucial to be cautious on social media to avoid such situations. I was fortunate to catch this early, but many others may not be as lucky. Always stay vigilant and consider going private to prevent impersonation. It's a serious issue that can have severe consequences, so it's essential to be mindful of who you interact with online.

I am experiencing issues with my compromised account. I have tried various methods to recover it without success. For the past three days, I have been receiving an "account compromised" message whenever I try to access my profile. When I attempted to link my Facebook and Instagram accounts from my laptop, I was prompted to reset my password. However, clicking on the link sent to my phone resulted in the same "account compromised" message. Furthermore, when trying to recover the account using my email address, it showed no user found. Despite providing alternative email addresses, the same issue persists. I am concerned as I have important photos saved on this account. I don't have Instagram on my phone as I'm low on space. I usually log in through Chrome. I needed to change my forgotten password after updating my phone number in my account due to the old number being invalid. After changing it recently, Instagram sent me an email to reset my password, but to log in, I need a security code sent to the old invalid number. I'm unable to receive the code, so I request that my account be deleted to start fresh.

I currently don't have Instagram on my phone to save space. I access Instagram through the internet using Chrome, logging in via Facebook because I forgot my password. Recently, I updated my phone number on the account as the previous one was invalid. When I tried to change my Instagram password through Facebook yesterday, I received an email with a verification code, but it was sent to my old number which I can't access. I wanted to change my password and keep using my account, but the technical issues are frustrating. Please remove the suggested posts update. It is really annoying. I only want to see posts from people I follow, not strangers. TikTok is TikTok, and your attempt to imitate them with "unlimited scrolling" is not working. I preferred your app before this update. I dislike this new change. Give me back my original timeline. Many other users are also unhappy with this. I am considering deleting the app since I can't see posts from the people I follow. We follow them for a reason, and we don't follow the people you "suggest." This update won't keep us engaged with the app. Many users are deleting it because of this feature. I recommend going back to the original version unless you want your ratings to drop due to dissatisfied customers.

Recently, I encountered an issue where I was temporarily banned from liking or commenting on posts due to exceeding limits. The message stated, "Your account is temporarily blocked for violating Community Guidelines by using services for likes or followers." However, I don't use such services, and this ban is hindering my interactions with followers. This time, the ban will lift on [redacted]-08-29. I'm puzzled by this situation. My account is @chanevator. I kindly request the ban to be lifted as I want to engage with my mutuals without any restrictions.
