Hello, I've been having trouble with my Instagram account for over three days now. When I try to like pictures or follow people, I keep getting a message that says "Try Again Later" and mentions that Instagram limits certain actions. This happens even though I haven't done anything out of the ordinary; if anything, I've been engaging less than usual. I've tried clicking the "Tell us" button numerous times and even sent a message through Instagram, but I haven't received any response. I'm still unable to like pictures or follow anyone, which is frustrating since I haven't been very active recently. My username is @jennysaxton. Can you please help me resolve this issue?

Hello! I recently reached out regarding being temporarily locked out of my account. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the phone number linked to the account as it was changed after a hacking incident on July 9th at 3:30 pm. Although I changed my password successfully after the hack, I am now unable to verify my identity. Upon checking, it seems my email was never registered or linked to the account. The email I would have used is [redacted], and I signed up using my iPhone 11. My username is hailey.rae23, and I last accessed my account on Thursday, the 23rd. This account is personal and contains photos of me. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in regaining access. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Here are all my details for the account recovery: The account was not linked to a phone number and was not connected to Facebook. I intended to link it but it got hacked before I could do so. I used the Gmail address Menolev550@u***.com, but I can't recall the exact domain since I created it using a temporary email service. Account: @menolev550 Device used: Redmi Note 7 Creation location: Sardarshahar, Rajasthan, India (Ward No. 32, Naman Saree Centre, near Dr. Kaushik's home) Chats: Only conversed with @speci_altalk and then deleted the chat afterward. Posts: Only one post from my Redmi Note 7. Liked all posts by speci_altak. Date of creation: June 17, [redacted] Activity: I was only able to use it for 1 day. I trust this information is sufficient for the recovery process. I hope for a swift resolution to regain access to my account.

I received a direct message on my Instagram account on December 30th, [redacted], threatening me to harm myself or be harmed by someone else. The sender was located in my area, causing me great fear and making me reluctant to leave my house or go outside. Despite reporting the message to Instagram Help Center, they stated that it did not violate their guidelines and couldn't remove the account, even though the threat of harm was clear. On May 19th, [redacted], I received the exact same message, including the threats. After reporting it again, Instagram responded that the message did not breach their guidelines and that individuals can express their opinions in different ways. I feel like my safety concerns are being ignored, and I am genuinely afraid to go out due to these threats. I have evidence to support my claims and I am growing impatient with the lack of action. I would appreciate a response to address this issue promptly, or else I will have to involve the police. Thank you.

Here are my details: The account was not linked to a phone number and was not connected to Facebook. The Gmail used to create the account was Menolev550@u***.com, and I don't recall the domain. The account was fake because I only wanted to use Instagram and was created using tempmail. The device used to create the account was a Redmi Note 7. It was created in Sardarshahar, Rajasthan, India (Ward No. 32, Naman Saree Centre, near Dr. Kaushik's home). Regarding activity, I only chatted with @speci_altalk and then deleted the chat afterward. I made only one post from my Redmi Note 7 and liked all posts by speci_altak. The account was created on June 17, [redacted], but I was only able to use it for one day. I hope this information is sufficient for you to take action and either return my account or delete it.

I encountered an issue with my Facebook and Instagram accounts being locked under the assumption that I am under 13 years old. Despite being 24 years old, I had to submit my passport images to regain access to my Facebook account successfully. However, I am still unable to use my Instagram account due to the same incorrect age restriction. The appeal process for Instagram is challenging because my email is linked to an account that is not disabled. Despite my efforts to reach out for support through various channels like the support center, direct messages, and emails, I have not received a resolution. Although my Instagram account appears active to others, I am unable to access it myself as it states I am under 13.

Hello, I am experiencing repeated temporary blocks on my account every 7 days. I keep receiving a notification accusing me of violating community guidelines by using services to increase likes and followers. This is not true as I have never used such services. This issue has occurred three times in the past month, causing confusion. After the most recent block, I was simply liking posts when the restriction took place suddenly. I have made reports within the Instagram app and tried to contact support via email, but received an automated response stating that email support is no longer available. Thank you, Alice

I am disheartened by the alarming situation with Instagram. It is troubling to witness social media platforms misuse their authority. Given Instagram's affiliation with Facebook, their excessive security measures and subpar customer service have caused distress. Recently, my circle of friends and I all experienced account shadowing on Instagram. I personally encountered this issue on a relatively new account due to the following reasons: 1. I accessed my art and personal pages through both Firefox and Google browsers. 2. I maintained separate accounts for each page using distinct email addresses. 3. An excessive amount of likes on my friends' posts were registered by the platform. 4. Responding to followers' queries, I sent direct messages to a few individuals in a single day. 5. On one day, I posted four comments on followers' pages in response to their comments. 6. There was an instance where I logged into my art page using my sister's cell phone. These aforementioned activities are the grounds on which my accounts have been shadowed. Instagram alleges that I violated their guidelines by behaving like a bot. Nonetheless, I couldn't find these specific rules outlined on their site. This oppressive behavior is unacceptable, and I plan to shed light on this matter through my blog, other media outlets, and by reaching out to local newspapers.

Hello Instagram, I am creating an Instagram account for my online business. When trying to make the business account on the app, it prompted me to connect it to one of my existing accounts, which I did not want to do. I switched to my Safari browser, visited Instagram online, and successfully created the account by entering my email, verifying the code, setting a password, and choosing a username. However, just after completion, I received a message about suspicious activity and was asked for a phone number for verification. Since I provided my email, I believed the phone number request was unnecessary. I prefer not to use my personal number for this business account. As I did not engage in any wrongdoing and simply created the account through my browser, I kindly request Instagram's assistance in resolving this issue by removing the phone number verification so I can proceed with growing my online business and generating sales. I have encountered repeated blocks on my account for actions I did not take. The system accuses me of engaging with services to boost likes or followers, although I never have. This issue started earlier this year, with about 10 blocks thus far. Although I was unblocked on July 31st, I faced another block today, the quickest recurrence yet. Typically, it happens once a month, if not less frequently. Despite changing my password, using verification apps, implementing two-step verification, and updating my email password, the situation persists. I suspect either hacking or a malfunction on Instagram's part. I have dedicated substantial effort to this account and am eager to avoid starting anew. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Since March [redacted], my Instagram account "taraaaaac" has been hacked, and the hacker changed the username to "goldpickdulce" along with the password, email, and phone number. Despite my efforts to contact Instagram and supplying the requested photo with specific details to prove ownership, I have received no resolution. Instagram advised me to return to the Help Center, where I initially sought help, leaving me confused and frustrated. I'm at a loss for how to regain control of my hacked account and would appreciate any guidance on this matter.

I need help deleting an old embarrassing Instagram account, @4ever_elizabeth, which I created in elementary school. I can't sign in because I forgot the password and the password reset emails aren't coming through, possibly due to an error in my email address during sign-up. The only contact associated with the account is an unknown email. I've tried reporting it and even reached out through the underage account report since I was underage when I made it, but I haven't received any assistance. I wish Instagram had a way for me to prove my identity so I could access and delete the account which includes photos of me. If they need verification, they can check my current account, @elizabethgboyd. I simply want @4ever_elizabeth removed.

I need help deleting a public Instagram account I created in elementary school that I can't access because I forgot the password. I suspect I mistyped the email during sign up and now can't receive password reset emails or identify the email linked to the account. I've tried reporting it with detailed explanations but haven't received any assistance. I wish there was a way to prove my identity to gain access and delete the account.

Hi GetHuman, I am experiencing difficulties accessing my Instagram account as I cannot recall my password. When I tried to reset it, the reset email was sent to an outdated Hotmail account that I forgot to update. Since I no longer have access to this Hotmail account, I am unable to reset my Instagram password. My Facebook account is linked to both my Instagram and a new email address. I am having trouble reporting an account due to a specific issue. I came across someone on Instagram with the handle halill_kilicc pretending to be a Turkish doctor to deceive women into scams. After blocking this person, they created multiple fake accounts like orkunisik939393, orkunisik[redacted]3, and orkunisik[redacted] to keep contacting me. The individual wanted me to visit Turkey, prompting me to involve a costly international investigation company to verify his authenticity. The investigation revealed that this person, who goes by the false name Halil Kilic, is a fraud and potentially dangerous. I am concerned about his exploitation of other women through Instagram for various nefarious activities like marriage scams, webcam recordings, and possibly sex trafficking.

One of the websites I registered with was hacked, and my information (email + password) was posted online. Since many of us use the same password, I experienced multiple login attempts on my accounts. While most of my accounts have different passwords and are secure, my Instagram was compromised. The hackers changed the email to a Russian one, presumably also changing the password. I am disappointed with Instagram for not sending an email notification asking if I initiated the email change, allowing the hackers to swiftly take over my account. I have been trying to recover my account by following the requested steps, including providing a picture with the requested "code," over three weeks ago, but I have not received any response. Verifying my account should be straightforward as there are only a few pictures, some taken in Emerald Isle NC and Cary NC, clearly not in Russia. Despite my wife reporting the hack through her account, the issue remains unresolved. I seek assistance to regain access to my account or deactivate it to prevent the spread of false information or scams to my followers. Any help resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
