Dear Facebook and Instagram Team, I have sent multiple emails regarding an unresolved issue and visited the help center with no success. My inquiry concerns my IG account "heyangelinex." The account was originally connected to a Yahoo email address but was changed to [redacted] without my knowledge or consent. When attempting to reset my password, I discovered that the email linked to the account had been changed. I believe my account may have been compromised as I do not recognize the email [redacted] I urgently need access to my account as it contains important images. I kindly request your assistance in reverting the login email back to [redacted] I am willing to provide any additional information or references via email to resolve this matter promptly. Hello, I'm Chloe Fraser and I need assistance. While checking my Instagram login activity, I noticed multiple logins from various locations. I am based in Edinburgh and saw unfamiliar locations, so I changed my password, updated my phone number, and enabled two-step authentication. My Instagram username is chl0efras3rx, and I've had my account since I was 12, in my first year of high school. Now at 19, I'm locked out of my account without access to the original email or phone number used for verification when setting up the account. The email was [redacted], and the old number was [redacted]3. The updated number I provided before the lockout is [redacted]1. I need help regaining access to my account as I cherish the memories and connections with my followers that are stored there.

I recently updated my email on Instagram but it keeps reverting back to my old work email. I tried verifying my new email multiple times but it always changes back. When I tried securing my account, it asked for a six-digit code from my old work email, which is no longer valid. I even had my old workplace reactivate the email so I could receive the code, but I never got it. Instagram keeps asking for the code whenever I log in, even though I can't access it. I added my phone number for verification but it's not giving me that option. I'm stuck and don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Back in December, I believe I added an authentication code to my account that had backup codes I screenshotted. Unfortunately, I think I deleted the screenshot at some point along with the Google authentication app where I lost all my codes. The last time I was logged in was yesterday at 10 pm. After resetting and wiping my phone due to issues, I lost all my apps. When I re-downloaded Instagram and tried to log in, it prompted me for a code I no longer have. Although I don't have a linked phone number, I have an email linked to my account. However, when trying to send something to my email, it didn't go through. Without any codes, I'm unsure how I’ll be able to regain access since there doesn't seem to be another way.

In December, I added an authentication code to my account, with backup codes I saved as screenshots. Unfortunately, I deleted the screenshots and removed the Google authentication app, losing all the codes. The last login was yesterday around 10 pm, but I reset my phone due to issues, which resulted in the loss of all my apps. After re-downloading Instagram, I was prompted for an authentication code. I have no linked phone number but am using my email. Emails sent to me are not going through. With no codes or other access, I am unsure how to proceed and need help confirming my identity or obtaining a recovery code.

I opened the Instagram app and suddenly got logged out of my account. Now, whenever I try to log back in, it claims my password is incorrect. When I attempt to reset it by entering my email, it states "user not found." Even my friends can't locate my account. Despite following Instagram's rules, this issue occurred. I have filled out the account reactivation forms multiple times and submitted a photo of myself, but have yet to hear back after almost a week. I am desperate to regain access to my account and would appreciate any assistance.

I'm having trouble accessing my Instagram account since it got disabled. There are many followers and childhood friends connected to my account, which is important to me. This is the second time I have contacted Instagram about my issue, and I am growing frustrated. Despite trying to call and reporting the issue multiple times, I am still unable to like, comment, or post photos due to allegedly using a service for gaining likes/comments. As a small Instagram user with less than [redacted] followers, I have followed all the procedures to report this problem through the "tell us" button and the help center, yet I have not received any confirmation that my reports have been acknowledged. Upon completing the first ban today and changing my password as advised for security reasons, I find myself banned again until July 26th, following the same troubling pattern. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and I am at a loss for what steps to take next.

Several years ago, I registered on Instagram using my account. Recently, I got locked out for mistakenly signing into a fake site that resembled Instagram. I've always used the app to access my account, so I'm puzzled about how this happened. Unfortunately, I don't recall my security questions or the associated email's password to recover my account. I'm anxious about my Instagram being deleted due to inactivity. It's essential for my job, and I'm desperate to regain access. I wonder if there's a way to provide Instagram with my alternate email to assist in recovering my account. Can anyone advise me on how to proceed?

Hello, I have noticed that my posts are no longer appearing on the tags where they used to show up. This has been happening since I created my account, despite me following all community guidelines. I suspect that my posts are being falsely flagged, but I am unsure of the reasons behind it. I would appreciate any assistance or insight you can provide. Additionally, I forgot to mention in my previous message that these occurrences seem to be random in nature. I suspect that the individual flagging my posts might be one of my followers, although I cannot be certain as their identity is anonymous. It appears to coincide with the success of my artwork, as they tend to report multiple posts on my account shortly after. I have observed that shortly after one post is reported, the next one disappears from the tags. I am seeking support on this matter as I believe it is unfair given my careful adherence to the guidelines. Thank you.

I am Darriel C., the CEO of Cannonballyouthclub and President of Cannonball Currency Music. I am having trouble accessing my son/artist's Instagram account @fatcat.1. I operate the account and submitted my driver's license to verify my age. I can confirm that it is my account, as I have paid for multiple promotions on it and can provide my bank details as proof. I paid for posts on December 11, [redacted], for the song "Watch Me," on February 14 for Valentine's Day, and on May 18, [redacted], for the freestyle "Savage" that made it to Worldstar. When verifying my identity, I was told my driver's license did not match the information from when the account was created on July 8, [redacted]. My son, who is now 18, originally made the account for me to manage, and he does not recall that information. The account name is Fatcat, my 11-year-old verified musical artist whom I was in the process of getting a blue check for. Due to this issue, my brand's reputation and promotions are affected.

I have found a privacy-related bug in the Instagram application. When a friend shares a photo or screenshot with me, it remains in the shared media section, and there is no option to delete it individually. Deleting the entire conversation is the only way to remove it, but I don't want to delete all my conversations. Even after deleting them, the shared media is still visible when I search for that friend's name. I have to restart my phone to erase the data, which is inconvenient as an end user. This issue compromises both my and my friends' data security, as even if I don't follow that person, they can still send me photos that remain in my Instagram messages.

Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding my Instagram account [guido.avallone], which has been mistakenly deactivated since July 5, [redacted]. I strongly believe this is an error as I have not violated any of Instagram's Terms of Use. Despite the app indicating that my account was disabled for "pretending to be someone else," I assure you I have not engaged in such behavior and have not received any prior warnings or reports. Hello. I had a mishap last year where I accidentally deleted my primary Instagram account. I created a new account, but I couldn't link my email to it due to it being associated with my previous accounts. Consequently, I only linked my phone number. Today, when trying to access Instagram, I received a notification saying I violated their Community Guidelines by using an app to boost followers and likes, which I didn't do. They prompted me to change my password to keep using the platform, but to do so, I need to input my current password followed by the new one. Sadly, I can't recall my current password. When I click on "forgot password" and they send a reset link to my phone number, the process leads me back to the password input page without resolving the issue. It's a frustrating loop that I can't escape. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The email, phone number, and username associated with the account have been altered without my consent, leaving my business vulnerable to further threats. Despite my account being accessible via web browser, it seems a device ban restricts my access through the app, causing inconvenience, especially with my birthday approaching. I have refrained from any behavior that would warrant a ban. The suggested remedy involves wiping my phone entirely without restoring from iCloud, a step I am hesitant to take due to potential data loss. I seek guidance on resolving this unique issue to regain full app functionality on my phone.

My account has been temporarily locked due to "suspicious activity" and "phishing," things I haven't engaged in. Instead, someone accessed my account and posted an ad. I changed my password, but woke up to find my account locked. It has been 4 days, and when I attempt to log in, I receive a message stating, "Over the next few steps, we'll ask you to verify your identity to help secure your account and let you log back in." The code is sent to my email, but I can't access it because my security info change is pending for 30 days. Alternatively, the code can be sent to my old number, which needs to be updated on my Instagram account. Please unlock my account as soon as possible since I haven't done anything wrong.

Hello, I recently got a new phone and am having trouble accessing my Instagram account. My old phone was automatically logged in, but the account I care about is linked to an old email that I can't access anymore. The only way I can prove it's me is by sharing some posts and live pictures with my other account that I can still access. However, my main concern is accessing the account that I can't log into. Cosplay is very important to me, and losing access to my account would be devastating, especially with the uncertainty surrounding TikTok being banned. Hello Instagram, I recently accidentally logged out of my Instagram account "Pamii_ag" and had only signed up using my active phone number. I am not receiving the password reset SMS, even after multiple attempts. I believe I have not violated any community guidelines as I always abide by them. I do not share inappropriate content.
