If you believe your Instagram account was hacked and need to recover the account then click here https://help.instagram.com/contact/272476913194545?helpref=faq_content enter your username and email to the account, then click “Yes”. A new list should appear below so click “Yes” then “Yes” then “More than 10 weeks” then “2 weeks or less” from there click “Send”. You should be receive a response from Instagram within 24 -72 hours.

Instagram on a family device was abused by someone we know. We only found out after my wife’s account was disabled and we actually got an IT guy to look through all the history and device histories. Their wasn’t anything wrong with my wife’s Instagram but rather with the Instagram that the Au-pair student was using, using the family device to login to Instagram ... I doubt anything was done to my account because it is a clean record !
GetHuman-wardaam did not yet indicate what Instagram should do to make this right.
