I have been receiving emails from Instagram regarding a login on an account I don't use. I would like to close down this account as I do not have an active Instagram profile. The email mentions a login from a device in Moscow, Russia. I would appreciate any advice on how to properly secure or close this account. Thank you.

Dear Support, Thank you for addressing my issue. I am having trouble finding my question in the help center. My Instagram account @uyeying, which features my personal pictures and is used to run ads, was registered using [redacted] The same email is linked to my Facebook account, which is connected to several Facebook pages and ads accounts. I have been unable to log in since March 19, [redacted], when I encounter difficulties with two-factor authentication. 1) I cannot receive the Google authentication code on my previous phone, which is now broken. 2) I have forgotten the 8-digit recovery code that I set earlier. 3) Even though I successfully reset my password via email, I am unable to log in due to issues with the two-factor authentication code mentioned in point 1. I would greatly appreciate it if support could assist me in regaining access to my account, as it contains many memorable pictures and contact details of my Instagram followers. Thank you, Elaine C.

I need assistance resolving a frustrating issue with my Instagram accounts. Using my phone, when trying to access my second account, it mistakenly logs me into my primary account using my thumbprint or password. When attempting to log in from my computer, it claims my password has been altered, which I did not do. Unfortunately, I am unable to reset my password as the email linked to the account is outdated. Despite trying to log in via Facebook to connect to my main account, it only directs me to my secondary one. I have already attempted troubleshooting steps such as restarting my phone and reinstalling Instagram multiple times. I'm Jonathan Buah, the creator of the Instagram account Jonathaninstyle. The self-isolation and lockdown in Ghana have made me realize the challenges I face in reaching my followers. Despite putting in efforts to create quality content, I have noticed a decrease in likes, views, and some of my posts being hidden from followers. I have devoted a lot of time and creativity to engage my followers but have experienced a decline in followers, likes, and post visibility without any clear reasons. As an African content creator, this situation is disheartening because building my page required dedication and hard work. If you are not willing to support me without payment for promotions, please refrain from deleting my followers, likes, or hiding my posts. During these stay-at-home times, it's crucial to have a platform to connect with others. African creators like me also need recognition and assistance.

Hello, I am looking to report a page that I find concerning. The page in question is @donmiguelo. I would like to request the removal of this page due to the live content involving nudity and other inappropriate activities. It is negatively impacting young individuals and not contributing positively during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of supporting the community during these challenging times, the content on this page is inappropriate. Instagram should take action to prevent such harmful live streams. A stranger managed to access my account on April 1. I received an email notification about this unauthorized login. Despite saving the email, by the time I tried to report the intrusion, it was too late. Since then, I have been unable to access my account, which holds cherished photos and memories spanning seven years. I have never posted inappropriate content and hope you can review my account to understand the situation. Someone else, not me, permanently deleted my account, and I am eager to recover it. It is distressing that Instagram would allow an account to be deleted just because of an unknown login. I am ready to cooperate fully to restore my account. I anxiously await your prompt response. My account was hacked, and someone sent messages on my behalf and kept logging me out. After changing my password and enabling two-factor authentication, the issue has mostly stopped. However, people are still receiving messages claiming that I sent a collage of their pictures. I need help identifying the culprit so I can take legal action against them.

Dear Instagram Team, Our organization, founded by high school students to support NY Hospitals by purchasing N95 masks, recently encountered an issue on our Instagram page. After creating the account on Saturday, April 4, we have been consistently receiving an "action blocked" notification when trying to like, follow, or comment. Each day, we face this block until the following day, only able to like one post before encountering the message again. Based on online research, excessive likes and follows may have triggered this block, wrongly identifying our genuine account as "bots." Unfortunately, on 05/04/[redacted] at around 13:18, I unintentionally sent a video to a friend on Instagram who is not following me, and whom I do not follow. Regrettably, I do not know the contents of the video. I kindly request the recovery of my deleted Instagram and Facebook accounts, as they are linked. I received a video, which I unknowingly forwarded to my friend on Instagram, resulting in the sudden deletion of my accounts. Hello, my Instagram account is "babygirldamz." I deactivated it, and now I'm trying to log back in, but I'm facing issues with two-factor authentication. I had to delete Duo Mobile due to phone storage problems, but I reinstalled it. Now, when I try to log in, the authentication code is needed, but I am unable to get it because I need to reconnect Duo Mobile. Unfortunately, I'm locked out of my account, and since my phone number is linked to both my accounts, I can't use it for authentication. Moreover, all the recovery codes are on my account, and I didn't take a screenshot beforehand. I'm willing to provide proof of my identity, such as my passport or student ID. Can you please assist me with this issue?

I believe Instagram wrongly deactivated my account, and I suspect it was done automatically by their system rather than by a person. I have tried reaching out to Instagram four times using their support form and also messaged them through their Facebook page. I believe my account, with [redacted],[redacted] followers and numerous influencer partnerships, is important and has been deactivated due to malicious reports on old photos. I have rarely had content removed in my 5 years on the platform and believe my account follows community guidelines. Recently, many photos from 2[redacted] were reported, triggering the deactivation. I am unable to stop these malicious reports and am now facing the consequences unfairly. I would appreciate it if someone could investigate this matter or provide a way to reach a support representative. Thank you, Jamie

Hello, Today, on 4/9/[redacted], my account was hacked, and the individual who hacked my account altered everything such as email, mobile phone, and phone number, while I possess the old information: Email: [redacted] and the other email: [redacted] and the old username is Fares-.belal. I am uncertain if they changed it or not, and the old passwords are: iamshagooN1, iamshagoon, [redacted]89ooNN. I am hopeful someone can assist me in recovering my account or deleting it. Thank you.

I am unable to access my Instagram account due to a hacking incident. Despite trying the "forgot password" option with different email addresses and usernames, I keep encountering errors or a different email linked to my account. I have attempted various methods to reclaim access but have been unsuccessful so far. My username is @melissa.bitt, and I am urgently seeking assistance to regain control of my account. My account has been hacked. The username was "anusaini977," and both associated emails have also been hacked. I am unable to sign in to my account. The emails were "anusaini1335@gmail" and "[redacted]," and my registered number was [redacted]. Please assist me in recovering my account; nothing is working. This all happened from last night at 12 a.m., and now I am not able to log in.
