Good morning, On 8/01, a photo was posted from my profile containing a website and the word rayban, with a discount from €[redacted] to €19. I did not post this photo, and it was definitely an attempted scam. As soon as I noticed, I deleted the photo and changed my password. The next day, I was temporarily disabled by Instagram for "phishing" every time I tried to log in. The error message directed me to a verification email, but my Facebook-linked email was deleted, causing issues with account recovery. I contacted Instagram support multiple times, but they were not entirely helpful. They requested photos of my face, hands, and a sign with my details. After resetting my password, they created a new profile without resolving my original account access. I've tried numerous online steps, spent money on guides and promoting a post for chat support, which was not provided. I cherish my Instagram as a diary of my life and feel violated by the intrusion. I have all email correspondence saved and am frustrated that my old account remains active, leaving me vulnerable to future breaches. Please assist me.

I currently manage four Instagram accounts for different purposes, and one account is repeatedly blocked with a notification about my actions being restricted to protect the community. Initially, I would click "Tell us" as prompted, only to later discover that my account was flagged for using third-party software to increase followers, which I did not do. Following their guidelines, I changed my password, but within 24 hours, I received another notification extending the block until February 29, [redacted]. This unfair treatment is frustrating, and now, a similar issue is arising on one of my other accounts. I am seeking assistance in understanding why this is happening and resolving the situation promptly.

Hello there, I am Hriday Soni, with the Instagram username 'hridaysoni.' On 22nd February [redacted], a prank was played on me by friends who sent a child pornographic video and asked me to forward it via a messenger account that was deleted 1 or 2 years ago for safety reasons. Unaware of Facebook and Instagram regulations due to the prank, I sent the video and my Facebook account got disabled shortly after, followed by my Instagram account when I tried to check it. I am unsure why my Instagram was disabled, could it be due to the shared numbers on both accounts? I apologize for my mistake and my friends' involvement. I urgently need my Instagram handle back. Kindly assist in reactivating both my Facebook and Instagram accounts promptly. Thank you for your help and I hope to hear back soon.

I am experiencing difficulties with my Instagram account. I am unable to change my profile picture, edit my bio, or adjust any settings. Additionally, I am unable to switch my account to private, leading to unwanted contact from unfamiliar individuals. I aim to control who can view my content. Moreover, I do not receive notifications for likes, comments, or new followers, which is frustrating. Despite reporting these issues multiple times, I have not received any assistance from Instagram support. I implore Instagram to address and resolve these problems promptly. I disabled my Instagram account temporarily two months ago and am currently trying to recover it. Unfortunately, I forgot my password and only have my phone number linked to the account, not my email address. When I try to reset my password using the 'forgot password' section on the mobile app by entering my username or phone number, a link is sent to reset my password to my phone. However, clicking the link leads to an Instagram page stating that my account doesn't exist or that an error has occurred. While the mobile app recognizes my username and phone number, the desktop version does not recognize the username and shows an error when I use my phone number. Despite this, the profile seems to still exist in some capacity as it's not permanently deleted. Instagram's support options are limited, and I haven't found information on this specific error in their help center. If there's any other solution available, I'd appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

I have lost access to my Instagram account due to hacking where the email address was altered. Prior to Saturday, February 22nd, [redacted], I was able to access my account, but thereafter, I was locked out. When attempting to "Get Help," I tried contacting them using my email address, which was unsuccessful as there was no record of my username linked to that email. Alternatively, when I entered my username, the reset information was sent to an unknown email address. I have checked my email for any notifications regarding changes to my account but found none. Despite searching online, I have been unable to find a solution to this issue. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter.

Dear Support Team, I am deeply concerned because I am currently unable to access my Instagram account. It appears that my account has been compromised as the email associated with it has been changed. The username linked to my account is Manu9490 and the original email address is [redacted] The alteration of the email occurred on Saturday, February 22nd, [redacted], as I could still access my account on that day but lost access thereafter. Upon attempting to retrieve my account through the "Get Help" option, using my original email address did not yield any results. However, when using my username, the password reset information was sent to an unfamiliar email address. I diligently checked my email inbox for any notifications about changes to my account details but found none. Regrettably, I have not come across a viable solution online. I earnestly request your assistance in resolving this distressing issue.

I run a small online swimwear store named LilyPop Bikini Co. Recently, I acquired an Australia-based company and now manage it from the USA. My primary marketing strategy involves utilizing various social media platforms, with Instagram being a significant channel of promotion. However, I am encountering some challenges with my Instagram account: 1. Despite reaching out to Instagram nine times since February 11, I have not received any responses regarding the issues I am facing. 2. I have noticed that the hashtags I include in my posts, including #lilypopbikinico, do not appear on my posts. I am seeking clarification on why this might be happening. 3. I am unable to utilize the "Promote" feature on most of my posts as the button appears greyed out. I'd like to explain that my account was accessed by someone else. I've changed my password multiple times since then. However, my account was still deactivated. I'm requesting one last chance to reactivate it. I assure you, I will strictly adhere to Instagram's rules and policies going forward. Hello, I have had an Instagram account for quite a while, around a couple of years. Recently, I tried to post a story for the first time last summer to celebrate my favorite football club, Ajax, winning the cup. However, I encountered an issue. Despite knowing how to add a post to my story by clicking the paper airplane icon, I couldn't find the option on my account. Unlike my friends who have different phones and ages, I seem to have a problem specifically with my account. Hello Instagram Support Team, I recently changed my password but unfortunately, I forgot it. When I tried to reset my password using the "forgot password" option, I provided my username, "maniteja_shivanadula," and selected the SMS reset option. However, I have not been receiving the password reset code on my registered mobile number, "+91 [redacted]." Since I have changed my email address from [redacted] to [redacted] after graduating, I am unable to reset my password via email. I also did not link my account to Facebook for security reasons. As the only option left is my linked mobile number, I am unsure why I am not receiving the Instagram reset code on my phone. I am struggling to understand why I have been wrongly blocked on Instagram for the third time. Despite waiting a week, I was accused of buying or sharing something with someone, a claim that I genuinely have no knowledge of. As someone who works closely with producers and advocates for ADHD and Mental Health Awareness, being treated in this manner is disheartening. Instagram requested that I check out certain profiles which led me to follow them due to my memory challenges. In an effort to rectify any misunderstandings, I have been diligently removing unfamiliar accounts from my follow list. However, I find myself blocked for yet another week for complying with their initial request. This situation is beyond comprehension, even my 11-year-old recognizes the absurdity of these actions. I have only used my account for a few hours, adhering to Instagram's guidelines, yet I am met with a prolonged block. Kindly clarify if individuals with disabilities are not welcomed on the platform or if there has been a personal misjudgment towards me. Your prompt response and clarification would be appreciated. My account, doctor_audas, was deactivated erroneously due to conflicts with certain individuals. I have tried to recover it multiple times but have received unsatisfactory responses. I am disappointed as I always followed the guidelines. It seems the deactivation stemmed from reports filed by those I had conflicts with. I hope this issue can be rectified promptly so I can resume my regular activities.

I recently encountered an issue with my Instagram account. I received a message about suspicious activity, prompting me to enter a security code. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the phone number or email linked to the account as they are outdated. Hello dear Instagram Team, I have only been on Instagram for 3 weeks now and I am facing some beginner's issues. I really like many photos and I give them likes. However, I have been getting blocked for a few days now, although I am using the app legitimately and avoid suspicious pages. Until yesterday, I couldn't log into the app even though I was on Instagram on the internet. Therefore, I changed my password. This is now working, and I can finally edit my photos and post several at once. But now, as I was going to download a new photo, I got blocked again!
