Hello, my name is Katia, and I am from Italy. On December 25th, my Facebook account was hacked. I received a notification about a foreign boy accepting my friend request, which I never sent. When I tried to remove him as a friend, the app closed, and my Facebook profile was disabled along with my Instagram account, which was linked. I reached out to Facebook to recover my account by submitting a photo of my document. However, the recovery link was sent to a fake email address associated with hackers. The same issues occurred with my Instagram account when trying to recover it but never receiving the email with the code. After waiting for 5 days hoping for a resolution, I decided to create new profiles. While everything went smoothly with Facebook, the same situation reoccurred with Instagram after a day. I received a strange notification about a new follower with a peculiar name, and once I opened the app, my account was disabled again. I submitted the recovery forms, received the email with the code, sent a photo of myself with the required details, but have not heard back after waiting for another 5 days. I am seeking help as I am puzzled about why this is happening to me, with notifications from fake accounts or viruses disabling my profiles and stealing my information. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Katia

Hello, My account was suddenly disabled for allegedly violating community guidelines. This happened after I lent my phone to a stranger who requested to make a call. Upon checking, I noticed that my phone's mobile data, bluetooth, and location settings were changed within the brief 5-7 minutes it was with the individual. When attempting to appeal the account disablement, an "Unknown Error" message prevents me from proceeding. Moreover, I encountered a deleted media notification received via bluetooth upon the return of my phone. I suspect my account's compromise is linked to the stranger's actions during the short duration he had my device. Despite filing several reports, the lack of substantial feedback, except for a selfie verification email, is concerning. Rest assured, my online history on Facebook and Instagram demonstrates adherence to community guidelines. For over two weeks, I have been awaiting a reply from Instagram. I kindly request assistance in restoring my Instagram account promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am facing a serious issue that not only affects me but also many Instagram users. On Instagram, there are numerous shopping sites like Classyspects and Goggleshop. Specifically, I want to address the issue with AIRCASE (Bag Pack). Today, I ordered a bag pack, and even though they advertise cash on delivery, I could not find that option at checkout. I ended up paying online through CASHFREE using my Google Pay account. After paying [redacted] rupees, I received a payment confirmation but not an order confirmation. Furthermore, when trying to contact them via email, phone, WhatsApp, or Instagram, they are either unresponsive or changing their contact information. Shortly after, I received a message saying my order was cancelled, even though I did not initiate that. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I have reported them on Instagram and Facebook and will file a complaint. I demand a refund for myself and all the other individuals affected by these scams. These fraudulent sites must be banned immediately, or I will take further action. My Instagram ID is Shivu0224.

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue with my account that was disabled in October [redacted] due to harassment from an individual I had blocked multiple times. Despite this, the person continued to create new accounts, forcing me to cancel mine. Now, a year later, I am attempting to create a new account with the same email address but a different username. Unfortunately, I am facing problems with this process. When trying to create a new account, I received a message indicating that my email is already in use by another username. Additionally, my attempt to reset the password for the username "beck.[redacted]" was unsuccessful, as the system stated that no user was found. I appreciate your assistance with this matter. Thank you for your time, Angela C.

Good afternoon, On 12/31/19, while using Instagram, I encountered multiple messages stating that I had shared my information with a source for fake followers and likes, prompting me to change my password. Despite changing it five times, the message persisted. I have never shared my information and only used my private account for personal reasons, regularly removing spam accounts. I reached out to Instagram regarding this issue but on 1/01/20, my account was disabled for allegedly not following community guidelines. I have submitted two appeals but still lack access. I am mainly concerned about my 10 years worth of photos stored on the account that I cannot access. My Instagram is linked to my private Facebook account, which I seldom use for business. I am seeking a resolution to this matter and restoration of account access.

Hello, I encountered an issue with Instagram where my account was mistakenly disabled for allegedly impersonating someone else. However, I have always been genuine in representing myself and the account was created to showcase a mutual of mine, who was aware of and approved of it. I have reviewed the community guidelines thoroughly and ensured compliance since the beginning of my page. All interactions on the page were done as myself, with my followers being well aware of the account's purpose. If there are concerns about this approach, I am willing to remove any content related to my mutual and focus solely on my own posts. My Instagram account holds significant value to me, and I have invested considerable effort into its growth. I understand technical glitches are beyond Instagram's control and I kindly request assistance in restoring my account. I am ready to provide any additional information if necessary. Thank you. S.A. My birthday is December 16, [redacted]. A few days ago, I received a pop-up on my Instagram saying my account was being blocked for being underage. Even though I am clearly thirteen on Facebook, which is my fourteenth year. I appealed, but Facebook asked for more verification. I sent them a picture of my passport and school ID with the same birth date, but they still couldn't verify my age. I've heard calling them may not help much, so I'm not sure what to do next.

During the account setup process, I closed the app briefly while selecting a username. Upon returning, the app indicated that the chosen username (which should have been available) was not valid due to a connection problem. Subsequently, when attempting to proceed, the app stated my account was deactivated for violating Instagram's rules. I had not reviewed the terms of service and had not completed the setup. Trying with a different email and password, I encountered a similar issue when selecting a username despite it being available. The app cited connection problems and deactivated this account too for rule violation. It's frustrating not being able to create an account without breaking rules unintentionally.

I encountered an issue with my account when I logged in from a different Wi-Fi network at another location. After being alerted to suspicious login activity, I reset my password as instructed. However, upon trying to log back in, I discovered my account had been locked. The process to secure my account by seeking login assistance proved unfruitful. When attempting to receive a reset code/link via email using my Gmail account, I realized the email was being sent to a different address similar to mine. After trying my phone number and two other emails, I found they were not linked to my account. I am seeking a way to verify my ownership of the account through account data and photos to regain access, as it contains important messages that are now inaccessible.

Hello, my name is Kylie. I received an alert on Monday stating my account (@kylieannextra) was compromised, prompting me to change my password twice. However, 30 minutes later, Instagram deactivated my account, leaving me very frustrated. I have never used any apps to gain likes or followers, as I've had this account for years. After an hour of frustration, I created a new page with a similar name, kylieannextraa, and shared it with my family and friends, gaining back [redacted] followers of the 2,[redacted] I had. Today, around 2:50-3:00, I received another alert about my account being compromised, making me change my password repeatedly. I fear losing this account as Instagram is essential for my communication. Your help is greatly appreciated.

A few days ago, I discovered that my Instagram account had vanished. Upon attempting to log in using my phone number, I received a message stating that I was removed for impersonating someone else on the platform. I then tried to seek assistance through their online help center, filled out all the necessary details, uploaded a photo of my driver's license, but encountered difficulties submitting the form. Subsequently, I attempted to access my account through my email but faced issues resetting my password as the system identified the email address as belonging to an unfamiliar account. I reached out via the provided password reset email with my details, yet have not received a reply. Additionally, I left a voicemail on their customer service line at [redacted]. I am a mother managing my daughter's modeling engagements and interactions on Instagram, ensuring clear communication as she is a minor. It is imperative that this matter gets resolved promptly, as my daughter has an upcoming charity fashion show that needs promotion on our account. Thank you.

I continually face my pictures being taken down by Instagram for allegedly "encouraging self-harm." My intention is never to promote self-harm, and Instagram should pay attention to the message alongside the pictures. I display my scars because I refuse to conceal them. These are not new cuts; they are scars. Having scars or cuts does not equate to endorsing harmful behavior. Instagram repeatedly removes my posts under the guise of aiding people. Have they thought about the fact that individuals with scars are also people? We are human too, yet somehow seem to be devalued because of our scars. This notion is preposterous. Just like a broken arm, mental illness is a legitimate condition even though it may not be visible. It is as real as a physical injury, and Instagram should consider this.

I am facing issues with Instagram as they consistently remove my pictures due to a misunderstanding that I am promoting self-harm. My intention is never to encourage such behavior, and I include messages along with my pictures to convey this. I choose to show my scars proudly, as they are an important part of my journey. These scars are not new wounds but are reminders of my past. Displaying scars does not promote self-harm. Instagram should understand that individuals with scars deserve respect and are not promoting harmful behavior. Just like physical injuries are visible, mental health struggles should be acknowledged too. My Instagram handle is @i_love_all_your_broken_pieces. Instead of deleting posts, Instagram should consider censoring content if necessary, rather than unfairly targeting individuals with scars.

I am facing a continuous issue with Instagram removing my pictures under the pretext of “encouraging self-harm”. This has never been my intention. I include a message with my pictures to explain their context. My scars are part of me, and I choose not to conceal them. They are not fresh wounds but healed scars. Having scars does not equate to promoting self-harm. Instagram repeatedly removes my posts despite claiming to aid people. Have they considered the perspective of individuals with scars? We are human beings deserving of respect. We should not be treated as less for bearing scars. The notion is illogical. Instagram should differentiate between fresh wounds and scars, instead of outright removal. Just like visible injuries, mental health struggles are valid. My Instagram handle is @i_love_all_your_broken_pieces. I urge Instagram to cease removing pictures of individuals with self-harm scars and opt for sensitive content filters.

Hello, Instagram team. My account with the handle @supersingh_braham has been disabled without any valid reason. Two days ago, I posted a video of watching the movie GoodNewwz without violating any community guidelines. In the video, we were just cheering for my favorite actor @diljitdosanjh when he appeared on screen. Even Diljit Dosanjh himself posted a similar video. However, @dharmaptoduction reported my content, although I have always supported their movies and even promoted GoodNewwz. My email address is [redacted] I kindly request to have my Instagram account reinstated as I have put in years of hard work into it. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I was logged out of my Instagram account and when I tried to log back in, I was prompted to enter a security number sent to an old email address I no longer have access to. I have forgotten the email address linked to my account and need the security number sent to the email I currently use. I have already reported the issue to Instagram, provided the necessary photo verification, and changed my password as instructed in the email link they provided. However, the problem persists even after changing my password. Instagram then suggested I may have activated two-factor authentication, which I did not. I informed them of this, but have not received a response from Instagram since. I hope to get this problem resolved promptly.

I am encountering difficulty logging into my Instagram account on my phone. Each time I attempt to log in, I receive an error message stating that my request cannot be completed, even when using the correct username and password. Initially, I attempted to log in but forgot my password, prompting me to reset it. However, upon receiving a login code that I did not request, as well as emails from two unfamiliar accounts, I became confused. The code indicated it was valid for one-time use within a seven-day period, despite me not utilizing it previously. Although I successfully changed my password, I am still unable to log in on my phone. I have already tried troubleshooting by deleting the app and powering off my phone temporarily, to no avail. Curiously, I can access my account on my iPad; however, the issue persists on my phone. Assistance in resolving this matter and enabling me to log in on my phone again would be greatly appreciated.

It's been two months since I started trying to contact Instagram for help, but I haven't received any replies. I am facing an issue where my Instagram app stopped working after I logged out in November and I have been unable to log back in since then. Other devices can access my account, so I know the problem lies with the app itself. I consistently receive errors such as "sorry, there was a problem with your request" or "check your connection," despite having a strong connection and using the correct login credentials. I even tried using a VPN to rule out an IP address block, but that didn't work either. I have reset my phone and tried everything I could think of, but the problem persists. It's frustrating because I don't want to change my phone or lose my account with over [redacted] followers. I just want my app to work again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need urgent assistance with my account issue. Another individual has taken control of my account, causing me significant emotional distress. I have already reached out to your team, but unfortunately, the problem persists. I am unable to revert the email change back using the link provided, as it seems to be ineffective with the email listed as the original one on my account. Through an investigation, you will find evidence indicating that I am the rightful owner, such as pictures in my story archives. This situation is triggering severe anxiety attacks for me throughout the day. I am desperate for your help to rectify this issue. The original email address associated with my account is @[redacted], which was recently changed by the perpetrator to @[redacted] The individuals behind this breach are @baked_homie and @vanessa_noodles, the latter operating two accounts and engaging in fraudulent activities. I can provide evidence to support my claims. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

My main account was unexpectedly deleted or suspended, and I was not provided with a reason for this action. I have completed all the steps Instagram requested, including submitting a photo with a reference code, my full name, face, and username. However, I have not received any updates on the status of my account. If there was no valid reason for the deletion, I kindly request for my account to be reinstated. My username is: _.x_smiley_x._.
