My 12-year-old daughter created an Instagram account mimicking a questionable friend a while back. I discovered the account recently, made my own account to check it out, but now she can't remember the password or the fake email and phone number she used. I've tried reaching out to Instagram through my account to have her account removed, but no one has gotten back to me yet. I would appreciate any help with this matter.

I am a Firefox user and recently updated to the latest version. I normally use Instagram on my desktop through Firefox and have the necessary extensions. However, I have been unable to send Instagram videos to my desktop since a recent update. I contacted the developer of one of the Instagram extensions for both Firefox and Chrome, and they mentioned a possible issue with the code interaction between Instagram and Firefox. I prefer to use Firefox over Chrome, but if this issue persists, I may have to switch. I tried running Firefox with disabled add-ons and changed my passwords, but the problem remains. I have the username, password, and proper email for my account. Unfortunately, I mistakenly used the wrong email address, causing me to be unable to access my writing account that I have had for years. Suddenly, I received a message asking me to verify my account ownership. I can confirm that I am the rightful owner and have not been hacked. The email address I entered does not exist, so I am unsure why Instagram allowed it during account creation. I am worried about losing access to this account, as I have invested a significant amount of time and effort into it. I am unable to transfer my writing to a new account, so any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using a writing account for years, and recently faced an issue with the email associated with it. Although I know my username, password, and the email used, I accidentally entered the wrong email which led to a message asking me to confirm ownership of the account. I recently created this account. I was surprised to discover someone with the exact same name as mine on Instagram. Initially, my username was set as andanthi, but it was changed to andan.thi. I want to modify my username to avoid confusion with the other individual named "andanthi." I suspect that someone may have created this account to make it seem like it belongs to me, as it currently displays 2 photos, 2 followers, and 3 following, which is not me. I apologize for repeatedly attempting to change my username without success. Please consider that An-Dan Thi is a unique name, and I was genuinely taken aback by the existence of another "andanthi." I am experiencing an issue on Instagram. While using my account, I tried to switch to another account named @vegetablecult, which I wanted to turn into a vegan food page. When I later attempted to switch back to my personal account @laurenlouiseoneill, I received an error message stating 'sorry we can't log you in.' Despite contacting Instagram via email, I have not received a timely response. When accessing my account from a friend's phone, it shows as 'user not found' with my photos and profile picture displayed, causing alarm. To address the problem, I created a new Instagram account with the same credentials, but faced similar log-in issues. Instagram has now restricted actions on the new account. This situation is frustrating as I have used my profile since [redacted] and now risk losing all my stored data. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Hello dear Instagram Support, I have a huge problem. My Instagram account has the wrong email address for some inexplicable reason. The incorrect email address is "[redacted]" The issue is that the Instagram app is requesting a confirmation code that isn't arriving because the email ends with ".com." Consequently, the app keeps asking for a code that I'm not receiving. The email platform "Gmail" doesn't even have the ending ".de." The Instagram account is named "Mardoz.Germany," we are a motorcycle group, and I manage the Instagram account. The account is very important to us, and we urgently request your assistance. Hello, my name is Sandy. My Instagram account username is woahh.bj. I am reaching out because I have been logged out of my account and cannot log back in. It keeps showing an error message saying, "Sorry, there's a problem with your request." When I try to create a new account, I am informed that I have been disabled. A few years ago, I had an Instagram account under the email [redacted] I accidentally deleted the account when I was younger. Even though I've tried to use that email again, the system still recognizes the old account and won't let me. I created a new account with a random email. Now, I got a new phone and forgot the password for my current account @alyssa_borkofsky, so I need to reset it. Please help me with this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

I am experiencing some issues with my Instagram account. Firstly, I am unable to share posts in my stories as the option does not appear when I press the share button. Hello Team, A few days ago, I was unable to log in to my Instagram account. I recently changed my password and when they prompted me for verification, they sent the code to my old registered mobile number, which I no longer use as it has been blocked for a while. Unfortunately, I didn't link my email to my Instagram account either. I inquired at the mobile network office, and they confirmed that my number is blocked. Since Instagram only offers two verification methods, through mobile number or email, I am now stuck without access. Is there a way to log in without using either the mobile number or email verification? I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

I am Melissa Cranmer, and I am frustrated with Instagram for removing my account, claiming it's not me. It's ironic that they deleted my genuine account and left the fake one, causing issues. My true account, smithymelxo, is being overshadowed by the fake one, mel.princess0121, that needs to be taken down before I involve the authorities. I urgently need my account reinstated.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my Instagram account with the handle dorycantswim, which has been blocked for a week. A week ago, my partner used my account to test a like-gaining app without my consent. Upon realizing this, my account was already blocked by Instagram, preventing me from liking my friends' posts or pictures on the platform. Hello, I believe this simple issue has been unnecessarily prolonged, causing me mishaps and financial distress. About a month ago, my Instagram and email accounts were hacked, and despite multiple reports of the breach, the hacked account remains active. I am eager to resolve this situation. I had created a temporary account, which has since been removed for allegedly violating guidelines and impersonating someone else. I provided my passport as proof of identity in an effort to resolve this issue. I feel frustrated and unheard at this point. I was using Instagram when it suddenly logged me out, and when I tried to log back in, it said "user not found." I haven't received any emails from Instagram explaining what happened to my account. After asking my friends to check, my account was completely gone. They suggested that I violated Instagram's rules, which I strongly disagree with. I had 10k followers and a lot of modeling photos that have been deleted. I'm eager to get my account back without having to rebuild it from scratch. Even though I've been emailing Instagram, they keep telling me I violated their rules without specifying how.
