My iPhone is broken, and I attempted to log in using my mom's phone. I forgot my password and reset it multiple times before. Currently, I am on vacation, and Instagram is asking for a security code after entering the password, which is being sent to an old number I forgot to update. I hope my phone automatically logs in once it's fixed, but I'm unsure. The issue is that the security code needed is sent to an old number, and Instagram support has been unhelpful despite my efforts to cooperate, offering them any information I can. It's challenging to recall the number or email I used during registration years ago.

IG handle: jenna_nikole I need help urgently as I have important business tasks to complete on Instagram in the next few days. My ability to comment and like has been disabled. Every time I attempt to like or comment on a photo, I receive a message stating that the action is disabled as I have used a service to gain followers and likes, which I have not done. The only app I have used was for tracking followers and engagement. I was unaware that this violated any rules and will delete the app immediately. Around a week ago, my account was compromised by a hacker. Approximately 4 to 5 days ago, my account was temporarily disabled. When attempting to log in, a verification email is sent; however, the hacker altered the email address linked to the account, preventing me from accessing the verification process. Lacking 2-factor authentication, the email verification is my only option for access. I followed Instagram's process of providing a code and a photo holding the code, my name, and my account username, but it was unsuccessful as they claimed it was for a different account. Furthermore, when trying to submit a form for the lost account (due to having multiple accounts), the form requires the email linked to the account, which I no longer remember. Despite exhausting all options, I remain unable to regain access.

I recently faced abuse on Instagram from someone trying to pressure me into meeting them to buy CBD products. When I refused due to feeling they were suspicious, they sent threats and created a fake account resembling mine to ridicule me and my partner. Despite ignoring them, my account was unexpectedly shut down. This has left me devastated as I had many precious photos documenting my company's journey. I have been using two accounts, @georgearies and @sneakersplugid, for the past three years. I respect your policies, so I was surprised to find that my account has been blocked. I am currently in China, which might be why I'm on a banned IP address. @sneakersplugid is mainly used for trading and selling clothing to help my local community, always giving credit when using pictures from other Instagram users. While I may have had minor conflicts with a few individuals, we have resolved them through direct messages quickly. I am considering the possibility that my account was hacked. I will upload some recent posts from my account to show the type of content I share. I was alerted 12 hours ago that my Facebook content was violating my Instagram account. I only use [redacted] for my Facebook login. I have been using Facebook for 12 years and am unsure which specific post or activity might have led to this violation. I may have created a Facebook account years ago to link to @sneakersplugid, but I am uncertain if that account was compromised. Instagram is crucial to my business for marketing and sales. For the past few weeks, my activity feed has been blank, and I'm not receiving notifications when someone interacts with my profile on Instagram. I've tried troubleshooting by reinstalling the app, restarting my iPhone, using a different device, and accessing the website on my computer, but the issue persists. Additionally, I'm unable to make any changes to my profile information like my bio, password, or email address. When trying to verify my email, I keep receiving an error message stating "something went wrong" after clicking the link in the email. This problem has been occurring both before and after updating to iOS 13.2 on my iPhone Xr. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated, as Instagram is currently not providing me with any functionality.

I have been attempting to reach out to Instagram's email support at email [redacted] without success. The following message was sent: Hello, I am contacting you regarding the IG account @SportsMedPT for SportsMed Physical Therapy. We have tried to report a problem multiple times in the past few months but have not received any response. Our account is consistently getting actions blocked for "using outside apps," which is not the case. We rely on Instagram and Facebook for our marketing, and this issue is hindering our organic growth and future paid promotions. Good afternoon, I am writing to formally address a complaint regarding an Instagram account that is unlawfully using photos from other accounts. Despite numerous reports, no action has been taken, which is concerning considering the inappropriate nature of the posts. The account has stolen images from my younger sister's account, who is only 14, depicting her and her friend with their horses. He claims ownership of the horses and threatens harm. Furthermore, this account has taken my artwork and photos, passing them off as his own. He even messaged a 14-year-old, pretending to be me, an 18-year-old, which is completely unacceptable. I have reported this matter to Instagram, but their response stating that it does not violate the Community Guidelines is disappointing. This situation is distressing, and I am not satisfied with the current handling of it.

Hello, I've been unable to access my Instagram account for the past two months under the username camerongriffin505. I receive notifications at [redacted], but initially signed up with [redacted] Despite having access to these emails, when trying to reset my password, Instagram prompts me to verify my identity using an unknown email and an old phone number from when I lived in Australia. I've used an iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, an LG phone, and a Telstra device to log in before. I've submitted photos of me with a code and can provide identification like my passport or license. Friends have pointed out that my profile picture is missing, and photos of me and my partner have been deleted, leading me to believe my account may have been hacked. I'm concerned and would appreciate help as I cannot resolve this online. My Instagram account holds sentimental value with travel photos, so creating a new one isn't ideal. When I tried to log into my Instagram account, I received a message stating: "Your Account Has Been Temporarily Locked We've detected suspicious activity and locked your account for security reasons. It's possible your account was compromised due to a phishing attack." It then asks me to verify my identity by receiving a security code. I requested to receive the code via text message, but it either gives an error message or doesn't send the code. My other option is to receive the code via email, but the email I used is no longer active. Is there a solution for this issue?

Hello, I am Alana Pacelli, and I urgently need help recovering my Instagram account, which I lost access to last week. The issue arose when I got a new iPhone and forgot my account password. On October 7th, [redacted], I engaged with @brandedcreativeagency and paid a $75 deposit. I am encountering issues trying to register on Instagram through their website. Following each attempt to proceed by clicking "Next", an error message appears stating "Sorry, something went wrong". As a result, the email address and username became unusable after each unsuccessful try. Even though I have never used Instagram before, trying to register with the same credentials reports that they are already in use. When attempting to log in with these details, it notifies me that the account has been disabled for violating their terms, without any previous activity from my side. Furthermore, the password reset feature indicates that there is no account associated with the provided information. I am attempting to register using [redacted] as my email address and pawamoy as my desired username.
