My Instagram account was hacked, and Instagram temporarily logged me out. Although I can receive a code from Instagram to log back in, the problem is that the recovery email listed is not familiar to me. Upon visiting the website, I learned that this issue may be unfixable if it was entered incorrectly during account creation, which left me feeling frustrated. I believe there should be a way to override this invalid email, but my account is not linked to Facebook. I am uncertain if it's linked to my phone number. I am willing to provide answers to security questions, the original password, and information about the linked phone number and accounts. I hope to speak with someone who can assist me in regaining access to my account.

I am Laura S., a partner and editor at Tillamook County Pioneer, an online newspaper serving Tillamook County, Oregon. In [redacted], our original founder, LeeAnn N., passed away unexpectedly. Partner Kelly B. invited me to join the business. We were able to recover access to the Pioneer's website and Facebook accounts, but unfortunately, we are unable to retrieve access to the Instagram account. LeeAnn had multiple emails, and we don't have the passwords for them. Despite numerous attempts to contact Instagram for assistance, we have been unsuccessful. Recently, the account was hacked, prompting us to seek immediate resolution. We are eager to regain control of the Tillamook County Pioneer Instagram account. Hello. I attempted to create a new account five days ago for my upcoming business. I forgot to confirm the email right away, and upon trying to do so today, I found out that my account got disabled. I tried creating new accounts with different email addresses, but they all showed errors before I could even log in. I'm struggling to come up with more email and username ideas related to my barbershop business name. I'm looking for guidance on how I can successfully use at least one of these accounts.

My Instagram account has been disabled incorrectly. While trying to log in on my computer, I receive the message 'account disabled.' However, on the Instagram phone app, I don't get the 'account disabled' notification; instead, I see an 'error/problem with request' message. I can't access the email linked to the account and when I try to log in with my phone number, it directs me to my secondary account. I'm unable to find the old username when searching on Instagram. I also experienced the mysterious deactivation of my Facebook account around the same time, which seems related. Any assistance in recovering my old account would be appreciated.

My Instagram account, mowjli_24, was deactivated after being reported by someone, even though I didn't violate any rules. Despite appealing the deactivation, I still can't log in and am unable to create a new account. I've tried contacting Instagram's help center and emailing them, but the hotline was unhelpful, and the email just referred me back to the help center which I cannot access. I really want to regain access to my account as it holds many pictures that I no longer have saved elsewhere. I suspect someone reported me maliciously. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Team, I am encountering a serious issue with my Instagram account "darshit18," which is an old account associated with the email "[redacted]" that I no longer have access to. My friends are tagging me on this old account instead of my new one, and there are images on it that I do not wish to be visible to everyone. I attempted to change the email associated with the account by logging in with the remembered password. However, I am unable to receive the Security Code because it is being sent to my inaccessible old email "[redacted]," which was deleted around 3 years ago. I have attached a screenshot showing the issue. I urgently need to delete this Instagram account for security reasons. It would be greatly appreciated if you could assist me in resolving this matter promptly by either granting me access to delete the account or deleting it from your system and confirming the deletion. While browsing through Instagram, I unexpectedly got logged out of my account and have been unable to log back in since. A few days ago, I received a "Warning" regarding spam comments, which surprised me because I was simply following the instructions on a giveaway post that required tagging friends for a chance to win. Today, I was participating in another giveaway and followed similar steps, but with slight gaps between comments. Oddly, my account wasn't blocked immediately; it happened about 10 minutes later while I was still browsing. I find it unjust to have my account deleted for essentially following the instructions of another account (@cladandcloth) hosting the giveaway, especially when my account (@camichester) holds valuable photos and videos. I fear losing them. This situation seems very unfair to me.

Yesterday around 4 p.m., I had issues accessing my Rick Dancer account. Despite having reported around 10 fake accounts using my picture earlier that day, I remained unconcerned. However, this morning, while my Rick Dancer page was accessible again, my ExplOregonthebackstories page had been disabled for allegedly violating community standards. After reviewing the guidelines, I am certain I have not breached any rules. I suspect this is related to the fake accounts misusing my name and image. I have already submitted the required information to regain access to my account. This is a business page, and I am currently in the midst of posting a series of videos, so this suspension is causing financial losses. I recently attempted to create an Instagram account for the first time, only to find out that it was immediately disabled with no clear explanation. Upon trying to sign up, I received a message saying my email was already in use. When I tried to log in, I was surprised to see an error message stating my account was disabled for violating terms, even though I hadn't even used the account. I am frustrated that there seems to be no adequate customer support available, as the phone number and Q&A section were unhelpful. I am uncertain why my account @typicalterome was disabled. I received no warnings about violating the terms and conditions prior to the day my page was disabled. It seems like a mistake because I am confident I did not breach any terms. Please reinstate my account. I have dedicated years building that page, and it has been my main creative outlet and escape from home life. Despite sending multiple messages without a response, my account remains inactive even though I did nothing wrong. It feels disheartening that my appeals are being disregarded. I intend to transform this account into my personal page and assure you that I will refrain from posting any memes. I simply do not want to lose all my friends and followers on this account. I am uncertain why my account @__sandusky was disabled without warning. I believe this was a mistake as I have not knowingly violated any terms. Please reinstate my account as it serves as my creative outlet and escape. I have tried reaching out multiple times without a reply, feeling ignored. Hello. I have been experiencing issues with my Instagram account for the past three days. Specifically, I am not receiving any of my direct messages. Despite having a stable internet connection, I even tried switching to data to troubleshoot, but the problem persisted. Reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue either. Additionally, Instagram continues to send me notifications for messages I have already viewed, creating further communication challenges with my friends on the platform. After uninstalling the app, all my direct messages disappeared, and even logging in on my iPod Touch did not display my recent messages. I primarily use a Samsung S6. I have reached out to Instagram for support, but have not received any response.

Subject: Help Needed with Instagram Account Hello, I need assistance with my old Instagram account under the username lozvbarnes. A few months ago, I was forcibly logged out and informed that my password had been changed for security reasons. Sadly, since I got a new phone number that same week, I couldn't receive the verification code to reset my password. I accidentally logged out and was unaware of the two-factor authentication process, now I am unable to log back in as I do not have the required code. I am concerned about a troubling situation involving my 14-year-old sister who was contacted by a 25-year-old man on Instagram. The man has been sending flirtatious messages to her and her underage friends. My sister's profile indicates her high school and features images from school activities, making it evident she is a minor. Upon reviewing the man's profile, I noticed he follows around [redacted] girls, some of them clearly underage. Despite reporting the account, there was no action taken as he hadn't posted anything that violated community guidelines. When I messaged him to stop contacting minors, he claimed he hadn't broken any laws. I have saved screenshots of the conversations. I am seeking assistance in having his account deleted.

My account was compromised, leading to the theft of my pictures and the creation of a catfish account @taygaditswe. The catfish owner is posting inappropriate content, along with personal details like my address and images of my loved ones, endangering our safety. Despite reporting the account multiple times, it reappears with a new username. I have involved the police in my country due to encounters with people who fell victim to the catfish account, some even sending money. This resulted in a situation where a victim accused me of scamming them. The repercussions include job opportunities lost because of false posts and a significant impact on my safety. Unfortunately, the police cannot resolve this issue as it involves hacking Instagram.

A friend recently sent me a link in a message, which I didn't think much about as they've done similar things before. A few days later, when I tried to use the link, it didn't work. Concerned, I changed my password the next day to secure my account. However, I noticed that direct messages were being sent to 50 of my followers without my consent. The same message I received was being sent out. I tried changing my password again to force a logout, but my account got temporarily banned by Instagram for suspicious activities in the process. When I tried to regain access by following the prompts on the suspicious activity page, I found out that the hacker had changed both my email and phone number, locking me out completely. I've tried creating a new account, but Instagram keeps redirecting me to the suspicious activity warning, making it impossible to start afresh.

Hello Instagram, I'm writing to report that my account @spiritedhooves has been temporarily locked. I suspect it was hacked, a first-time occurrence in my four years on this platform. Despite a previous hacking incident, I promptly changed my password in that instance. The hacker likely sent unauthorized direct messages to many of my 4,[redacted] followers, leading to my account lockout. I have no recollection of entering my password on any site resembling Instagram. As per the recovery process, I'm instructed to verify my identity using the email associated with my account, [redacted], which I established four years ago. However, upon visiting mail.com to retrieve the verification email, I discovered I had forgotten my password. Despite several attempts to reset it, mail.com redirected me to customer service, stating my email was inactive due to prolonged inactivity. This setback is distressing as I am unable to access the verification code necessary to unlock my account without the deactivated mail.com email. My account is precious to me, showcasing years of dedication through my videos to entertain my followers. I cherish the community I've built and am devastated at the thought of losing access to them. I'm experiencing issues logging in and reactivating my account. I disabled it temporarily on Wednesday evening, but when I tried to log in on Thursday, it wouldn't let me access it due to the two-step verification. Even though I entered the security code correctly each time, it kept saying "please check the security code and try again." This has been happening since yesterday, and I really need to regain access to my account.
