My account was hacked, and I suspect the hacker used a website to inflate my followers. I noticed an increase in my follower count, but then received a ban notification preventing me from liking or commenting on posts. The ban was supposed to be lifted by September 5. When I attempted to log in today, the message indicated that the hacker used a follower program, instructing me to reset my password. However, I can't recall my password and when I selected the forgot password option, the reset instructions were sent to an old email I can't access. I'm unable to access my account and would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

I encountered an issue with my Instagram password after my account was compromised. Previously, I used Facebook login to access my Instagram account. However, when attempting to change my password using the Facebook password, Instagram does not accept it. I tried the option of receiving a reset email, but I no longer have access to the linked email account. I also updated the email associated with Facebook hoping Instagram would send the reset link there. Unfortunately, Instagram utilized the old email that I cannot access, rather than the updated email from Facebook. Is there a way to reset my password to match the one I use for Facebook, so I can proceed to update it with a new password? Or could the reset link be sent to the email linked to Facebook: [redacted]? Thank you.

I am looking to permanently remove platosclosetfayetteville_nc from my Instagram app. Despite logging out, deleting the app, removing saved login info, and unlinking as an admin on Facebook (accounts are linked), the platosclosetfayetteville_nc account remains on my app list. It briefly disappeared yesterday but reappeared today when I am still logged out. Since I will no longer be posting for that account, I need it removed permanently. Additionally, I would appreciate proper instructions on how to do the same for cmfayetteville and onceuponachildfayetteville_nc. As I will not be working there indefinitely, I need to know how to remove them all from my app. My personal/business pages are @charlinjanene, @charlinjanenephotography, and @novaskyeakitabear.

I have noticed some unusual activity on my Instagram account specifically related to comments. Whenever I comment on a post, certain individuals seem to instantly follow my comments, regardless of where I am on the platform. I am concerned about their ability to track my comments, particularly as it only happens with comments and not other types of interactions like posting stories. My Instagram account got suspended for what they claim is a violation of their guidelines. I was targeted with DM attacks while the other person's account remains active. I want to apologize if they felt I breached any terms. I rely on Instagram to keep in touch with family and friends whose contact information I no longer have. I've been using Instagram for over 6 years without any prior violations. Losing access to my photos and followers is frustrating as I also use the platform to earn money. I've faced harassment and bullying on Instagram and have involved the police. The person harassing me is still active on Instagram, attempting to obtain my address. I need my account back, please assist me in recovering it.

I recently got a new phone, and as a result, all my apps were reset. When I tried to log into Instagram, I received a notification stating that it appeared I had shared my password to purchase followers, violating their rules. This is concerning to me because I did not buy followers; I only have around [redacted]-[redacted] followers. The notification implied that there would be limitations on my account, potentially affecting my ability to comment or like posts. I am not an influencer, and I actively block bot accounts that follow me. My account was private for years until recently. I am seeking clarification on why this occurred and if there is a way to remove these restrictions in the future. Although prompted to create a new password, I have not done so yet.

Since the morning of September 6, [redacted], I have been unable to like, comment, or follow any accounts on Instagram. A message appears stating, "Your account has been temporarily blocked from taking this action." I want to clarify that I have not used any services to gain likes or followers, as my account is private with less than [redacted] followers and the most likes I've received on a post is 51. Despite selecting "Tell us," I have not received any response. Although the block was supposed to expire on September 7, today is September 8, and the issue persists. Due to changing my mobile number for personal reasons and getting a new phone, I encountered issues logging into Instagram. Despite numerous attempts to contact Instagram and Facebook support, I have not received any assistance in accessing my account. Instagram requests a security code sent to my old number but I cannot receive it. This situation has persisted for over 5 months, leaving me unable to log in even on my laptop where I used Instagram for years. Efforts to resolve this through various means have been futile, and I am frustrated by the lack of response from Instagram's support team.

I am experiencing issues with my direct messages on Instagram. They are not loading or appearing properly on my iPhone 6s. Even though I receive notifications when the app is closed, no new messages show up when I open it. The loading circle keeps spinning endlessly, and I have tried troubleshooting by reinstalling the app, switching devices, and logging in and out of my account, but the problem persists. I have reached out to Instagram multiple times regarding this matter, but unfortunately, I have not received any response.

Hello, I'm skyler_farrar. I've been experiencing difficulty accessing my Instagram account after it was recently hacked. Upon changing my password, a message stating, "Your Account Has Been Temporarily Locked" appeared on the app due to suspicious activity. Following the prompt to verify my identity, a security code was supposed to be sent to an old email address from middle school that I no longer have access to. Despite knowing my login credentials, I am unable to progress beyond this point. My Instagram is linked to my Facebook, and I have read on the Instagram help center that connecting the accounts should enable account recovery. I seek assistance with regaining access to my account.

Hello! I've been unable to use my account for a month now as it appears to be blocked. I can't like, comment, or add captions to my pictures due to constant actions getting blocked, which I suspect is a result of a spam block. Even though I mostly like around 20 pictures per day and only follow one person each month, the use of a VPN may have unintentionally made my actions appear suspicious. I have disabled the VPN but still cannot add captions to my pictures. Unfortunately, I can't seem to contact a human on Instagram to address this issue. As a business account holder who has previously paid for content promotion, I'm now unable to promote my business or broaden my reach due to this ongoing action block.

After encountering a potential hacking attempt, I proactively activated 2-step verification on my account. Unfortunately, I experienced phone issues that led to switching from an iPhone to an Android. When trying to log back into my account, I faced difficulty as Instagram requested the security code, which I couldn't access due to the phone change. I reached out to Instagram for assistance, and they promptly helped me regain access to my account.

Hello, my name is Amrezar. Recently, I discovered that my Instagram account, Razerma2286, has been linked to a scammer operating from Nigeria. This individual, using the username JOHN_WONG12, has been impersonating someone else and soliciting money from unsuspecting victims. I would like to warn the real person whose identity is being used, but I don't have any information about his whereabouts. If there is any way to alert the actual person in the profile picture, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

One evening, after finishing my meal and washing up, I picked up my phone and opened Instagram to find a message saying, "You have been logged out of your account." Thinking I had been hacked, I tried to log back in, only to see an error message stating, "Error. Your account has been disabled for not complying with our terms and conditions." I was, and still am, very upset because I put my heart into it. It's only been a week and a day, and I refuse to give up hope just yet. I don't know what to do, please help me, please help me recover my account (@ivicinidilorenzoeclaudia).

One evening, like any other, I had dinner, washed up, went to bed, and picked up my phone. I logged into Instagram and saw a message saying, "You have been disconnected from your account. The owner may have changed the password." At first, I thought, "An intruder got in and hacked me." I tried to log back in and got a message saying, "Error. Your account has been disabled because it violates our terms and community guidelines." I was all flustered and didn't know what to do. The next day, I reported the issue and tried again. When the same message popped up, I clicked "learn more" and had to fill out a form. After completing the form, I received a message saying, "Form filled out correctly. Thank you for contacting Instagram. You will soon receive a message at the email you provided." But nothing happened. It's been a week now, and I'm at a loss.

Upon my first attempt to create an Instagram account, I encountered an issue. I am unable to log in as it states no account exists with my email. However, when I attempt to re-register, it informs me that an account is already associated with my email address. This contradiction is perplexing. Upon consulting the help center, I discovered that my account was disabled due to a violation of guidelines, despite my inability to access it. For the past week, I've been facing issues with my Instagram account @dirtysecretco. Initially, I was blocked from liking, commenting, and posting but managed to get access last night. However, the problem has resurfaced, stating I'm blocked for another 7 days due to account compromise. I suspect my account has been hacked despite changing my password multiple times. These disruptions are greatly affecting my ability to engage with others on the platform.
